Hallo an alle die noch Investiert und noch die Luft haben durchzuhalten...

Ja, ja durchhalten ich glaube das Wort Geduld wird irgend wann durch das Wort Spatializer Investor ersetzt .) .
Aber man kann schon etwas mürbe werden wenn man sich den Kurs so betrachtet aber wie habe ich schon vor Sieben Jahren gesagt bekommen Aktien haben einen Anlage Horizont von 3-5 Jahren und wer 1998/99 eingestiegen ist der hat ja noch einiges vor sich...

Aber nun mal zum wesentlich ich stelle mir immer einige Fragen wenn ich in einer Firma Investiert bin um mich zu vergewissern das ich nicht Anlagenblind werde und ob ich die Aktie zum heutigem Kurs und Entwicklungsstadium der Firma nochmals kaufen würde??? Mum...

Die Spatializer Audio (SPAZ) wird in Deutschland unter WKN 892725 in Berlin und Frankfurt gehandelt.
Seit Ihrem Höchststand 1995 bei 6 US$ fiel diese Aktie in 1998 bis auf 0,063 US$.
Zur Zeit sind 34,6 Mio Aktien ausgeben, beim aktuellen Kurs beträgt die Markkapitalisierung lediglich 13 Mio US$.

Spatializer Audio entwickelt Technologien im Bereich der Stereo-Wiedergabe auf verschiedenen Plattformen.
Während die eigenen Produkte auch selbst vertrieben werden, werden die speziellen Techniken von Spaz als Lizenz vergeben.
Gerade im Audiobereich ist es wichtig, rechtzeitig einen Standard zu finden und zu setzen, was sich durch die Größe und Anzahl der Lizenznehmer leicht bestimmen läßt. Bekanntestes Beispiel für einen Big-Player im Audiobereich ist die Firma Dolby, die schon früh ein Verfahren zur effektiven Rauschunterdrückung erfand und weiterentwickelte. Das Raumwiedergabeverfahren Dolby-Surround setzte erstmals einen Welt-Standard für mehrkanalige und Kinotonwiedergabe und wurde später zum Dolby-Digital Verfahren weiterentwickelt.

Diese Lizenztechnik hat einen entscheidenden Vorteil, der auch gleichzeitig der Nachteil ist. Zum einen muß man die Entwicklung in aller Stille ohne profitablen Umsatz selbst finanzieren, bis die Technik patentiert ist. Und nur wenn diese Neue Technik auch einen neuen Standard setzt, hat man auch die Chance, Geld zu verdienen.
SPAZ ist an der Entwicklung und den fehlenden Einnahmen fast zu Grunde gegangen. Neue Produkte und Lizenznehmer lassen jedoch Spielraum für folgende Spekulationen.


Folgende Produkte hat SPAZ entwickelt.

Spatializer 3-D Stereo:

Die räumliche Wiedergabe eines Stereosignals funktioniert nur auf sehr hochwertigen HIFI-Anlagen zufriedenstellend. Üblicherweise verkümmert die Stereowiedergabe zu einem Ping-Pong Effekt.
Spaz hat nun eine Technik entwickelt, die mittels eines elektronischen Bausteins, mittels hochintegrierter Microprozessoren oder Software diese lasche Wiedergabe in eine echte „Rundum"-Räumlichkeit erweitern.
Typische Anwendungsfälle für diese Wiedergabe sind:

Fernseher, Getto-Blaster (vom tragbaren Radio bis zum Radiowecker), Kabeltuner, kurzum der gesamte Konsummarkt für Stereo-Tonwiedergabe!

Weiter Anwendungsfälle ergeben sich für die Computerindustrie, hier gibt es noch gar keinen Standard. Sollte es SPAZ gelingen, z.B. bei Mainboards oder Soundkarten einen Big-Player zu finden, wären die daraus resultierenden Stückzahlen enorm.
Nicht auszudenken, wenn eine Spielekonsole mit dieser Spaz Technik ausgestattet wäre. Oder ein Autoradio-Hersteller, oder, oder ,oder.

N-2-2 Virtual Surround

Quasi als Gegenteil zu obiger Technik wird hiermit das bei DVD´s verwendete Signal auf Standard-Stereo-Anlagen ausgegeben.
Für die Nicht-Techniker:
Das neue Medium DVD beinhalten im Unterschied zur Videokassette Tonspuren, auf denen der Ton mehrkanalig aufgezeichnet ist. Man benötigt neben dem DVD-Player also noch einen Decoder, einen besonderen Verstärker und mindestens 5 Lautsprecher, von denen 3 vorne und 2 hinten aufgestellt werden müssen. Daß die DVD trotzdem das Medium der Zukunft ist, ergibt sich daraus, daß es im Vergleich zur Videokassette handfeste Vorteile für Produzenten und Anwender gibt (Preis, Kopierschutz, Größe, usw.) Damit die DVD Player nun auch mit der „normalen" Stereoanlage nicht nur funktionieren, sondern auch ein besonderer Raumeffekt eintritt, werden in diesen DVD-Playern Chips und Technik von SPAZ verbaut. Damit hat der DVD Player das Zeug, den Videorecoder in den Ruhestand zu versetzen. Übrigens erwartet man für das nächste Jahr 70 Mio verkaufte DVD Player weltweit. Die meisten Hersteller halten eine ganze Palette von Modellen bereit.


Was hat Spatializer genau davon?

SPAZ lizensiert die Firmen, die ihre Technik entweder einsetzen oder produzieren wollen. Man kassiert 75 Cents je verkaufter Einheit, ohne jemals einen Finger krumm gemacht zu haben (man hatte die Arbeit ja schon vorher..).
Schauen wir uns die Liste der Lizenznehmer an:
ACER, TOSHIBA, XING, HP, DIGITAL, MULTIMEDIA LABS

Diese Lizenznehmer verbauen entweder die Bausteine oder implementieren die Software in eigene Produkte.
Für jeden verkauften PC oder ähnliches, was das SPAZ Logo trägt, kassiert SPAZ pro Einheit ca. 75Cents.
Potential?

Wir schätzen vorsichtig: 500.000 Stück im nächsten Jahr

Nicht gerechnet wurden die Lizenzen und Umsätze mit STREAM FX, einer Windows-basierenden SPAZ Lösung.
Nicht gerechnet wurde ein Deal mit SONY oder KONAMI oder NINTENDO.
Hier wird sicherlich sofort über mehrere Millionen Stück verhandelt, wahrscheinlich aber zu anderen Konditionen.

Der Markt für Konsumgüter beläuft sich auf 500 Mio Stück. Davon sind nur ca. 5% mit einer speziellen Wiedergabetechnik für Stereowiedergabe ausgestattet. An diesem Markt hat SPAZ 20% Marktanteil.
Das macht für 2000 ca. 5 Mio Lizenzen.

Global Players für SPAZ sind die Chiphersteller Samsung und Hitachi, die jeweils 1 Mio Chips herstellen wollen.

Die DVD Palette von Toshiba, JVC, Panasonic machen weltweit auch ca. 1 Mio Lizenzen aus.

Tja, dann wird noch das neue Betriebssystem von APPLE mit SPAZ Technik ausgestattet.
Folge, ca. 1-2 Mio Lizenzen.
Wichtig ist dabei, daß diese Lizenzen nach dem Verkauf oder der Fertigung der Einheiten fällig werden. Bisher hat Spaz nur die Kooperation mit den Lizenznehmern verkündet und trotzdem konnte im letzten Quartal bereits ein ausgeglichenes Betriebsergebnis erreicht werden!
Gehen wir von dieser Kostenstruktur aus und schätzen die Einnahmen für das nächste Jahr:

Acer u.Co. 500.000 Stück
Konsumgüter: 5.000.000 Stück
Global Player 2.000.000 Stück
DVD´s 1.000.000 Stück
Apple 2.000.000 Stück
Summe: 10,5 Mio Stück
Windows ?
Spielekonsolen ?

Bei einem Preis von ca. 75 Cent / Lizenz macht das: ca. 7.875 MIO US$.
Basis heute + zusätzliche Betriebskosten: 1.8 Mio US$
Verlustvortrag aus Vorjahren:30 MIO

Das macht einen Gewinn für 2.000: ca. 6 Mio US$, entspricht einem Gewinn / Aktie von 0,173 US$,
entspricht einem KGV von zur Zeit <2. Punkt.

Jeder möge sich ein angemessenes KGV für eine solche Firma selbst ausdenken und auf die Meldungen achten.
Nehmen wir mal ein KGV von 30 an, so müßte der Kurs bei 5,13 US$ stehen, also immer noch unterhalb der alten Highs!
Bei Übertreibungen, z.B. durch einen Deal mit Nintendo (Gerüchte), der nur mit 1 Mio berücksichtigt würde und einem KGV von 40 ergäben sich schon Kursziele jenseits der 8 US$!

Wenn man die zu erwartenden Umsätze auf ¼ reduziert, obwohl die Kosten steigen, blieben immer noch ca. 2.6 Mio Lizenzen, also Gewinn / Aktie von ca. 4,5 Cent / Aktie. Also ein KGV von 8!

Das Rückschlag-Potential ist zur Zeit relativ begrenzt, auch wenn sicher noch einige Zocker drin sind, die die Aktie zu alten Tiefstkursen gekauft haben und Gewinne realisieren können. Allerdings sind die Umsätze in den letzten Wochen sehr gering. (<300.000). Zu Zeiten der letzten News wurden mehr als 5 Mio Aktien gehandelt. (zutreffendes Zitat von Webjunkie aus dem Consors-Board: „Spaz fliegen nur bei News!"
Diese Situation dürfte sich nach Veröffentlichung der ersten positiven Zahlen (3. Quartal ?) wahrscheinlich etwas verbessern. Mit zwischenzeitlichen Rückschlägen ist trotzdem zu rechnen. Für long-orientierte Anleger ergibt sich allerdings eine sehr gute Möglichkeit der Depot-Beimischung mit einer reelen Chance auf einen 10-bagger innerhalb der nächsten 12-18 Monate. Persönlich glaube ich auch daran, daß SPAZ komplett übernommen werden könnte, die geradezu lächerliche Marktkapitalisierung bei den Ertragsmöglichkeiten lädt gerade dazu ein! Wenn der Verlustvortrag ebenfalls genutzt werden könnte, verstärkt sich dieser Effekt natürlich nochmal.

Hallo Vaio,

machst dir ja viel Mühe! Und ich denke es ist auch nicht verkehrt ein bißchen die Werbetrommel zu rühren.

Ich glaube, daß wir eine wirklich nette News oder auch mehrere sehen werden. Denke auch nicht, daß es ein Hype der MMs oder eine Reaktion auf die DVDP Verkaufszahlen, wie teilweise im RB vermutet, ist.
Da SPAZ ja schon fast scheintot war, einige longs sich schon vorher günstig eingedeckt haben, ist der Hype umso bemerkenswerter. Es muss schon ein was Großes kommen.

Je nachdem was kommt, könnte ich mir einen Hype in der Spitze bis 1€ vorstellen.
Vielleicht werdens auch nur 0,3€.

Bin auf heute in den USA gespannt. Wird es noch mal ruhig oder geht das Kaufen weiter.

Aber auch dies entspricht dem Muster vor News. Nur mit dieser heftigkeit hab ich nicht gerechnet.

Doch schaut man sich die Times und Sales an, wird man den Verdacht nicht los, SPAZ wurde Schritt für Schritt mit 5000 Packs nach unten "geschubst".

Es wurde bisher kein sell off ausgelöst.

Hat einer in USA gehandelt. Wär mal interessant zu wissen, ob bdient oder nicht.

Tja, das war mal wieder so ein typischer Tag im Leben eines Spatializer Aktionär.

Schaut man sich die letzten Times and sales an, daan sieht man wie die MMs kurzfristig den Bid von 16 (letzter Trade 2:39 2000Stück) erst auf 17 , 17,5 und dann auf 18 Cent gehoben haben, um noch mal 25 Kilo abzufassen.
Dann nachdem sie diese eingesackt oder gleich wieder ans ask weitergereicht haben, haben sie das bid gesenkt.

Imo die MMs brauchen so oder so shares.

Nintendo reißt MIPS ins Rote

Der Umsatz der Technologie-Firma MIPS
ist gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal um 37 Prozent
auf zwölf Millionen US-Dollar gesunken.
Während damals für das Prozessor-Haus noch ein
erklecklicher Nettogewinn von über vier Millionen
US-Dollar heraussprang, musste es diesmal Netto einen
Verlust von 3,5 Millionen Dollar ausweisen.
Zu diesem Verlust trägt vor allem auch der Einbruch
in den Lizenzeinnahmen vom Spielkonsolen-Hersteller
Nintendo bei, die um 72 Prozent von 5,6 auf 1,6 Millionen
Dollar zurückgingen. MIPS hat in dem abgelaufenen Quartal
allerdings fünf Lizenznehmer (zu jetzt 40) hinzugewonnen
und ingesamt neun neue Lizenzverträge geschlossen,
sodass die Firma trotz der schlechten Zahlen zuversichtlich
in die Zukunft schaut.

Daß, das Vergangene schlecht war wußten wir schon und daß erst die 2.Hälfte des laufenden Jahres besser werden soll wissen wir auch, warum stürzt der Markt mal wieder ab. Wondering, vorallem weil die Unternehmen doch rundweg positive Aussichten für die nahe Zukunft in Aussicht stellen.

The cross-talk canceller is the key to making virtual audio sound impressive over loudspeakers. Front and Rear Channel Virtualization

Inferior down mixing algorithms tend to only process the rear (surround) channels, while leaving the front (left, right) unprocessed. This is especially true of free no-name algorithms that some semiconductor companies give away with their processors. Spatializer N-2-2 Ultra virtualizes the front channels as well as the rear channels, delivering an immersive virtual surround experience, even if the rear channels are quiet.

Spatializer N-2-2 TV(TM)

Spatializer N-2-2 TV(TM) is a new algorithm specifically designed to enhance DVD playback over built-in television speakers. This mode takes advantage of the pre-determined listening configuration inherent in the speaker positioning and optimizes the audio stream to create a wider and clearer virtual surround soundstage.

Theater Speaker Placement Optimization

In order to accommodate varying Home Theater room architecture, Spatializer N-2-2 Ultra is adjustable by the consumer for various speaker locations, thus providing the listener with an optimum virtual surround listening experience based on their unique listening area layout.

DVD Movie Dialog Enhancement

DVD movies play most of the dialog through the center channel, but existing virtual surround technology offsets the center channel to the left and right channels, therefore impairing dialog clarity and centering. VirtuaLFE(TM) Virtual Subwoofer Processing

Most DVD`s contain a Low Frequency Effects (LFE) channel that is typically sent to a subwoofer in a discrete 5.1 loudspeaker arrangement. Since this LFE channel can overload the output of many stereo and television systems, it is often not included in a 5.1 channel down-mix to 2 channels. OEM`s now have the option of including this LFE channel using Spatializer VirtuaLFE, thereby adding a virtual subwoofer effect to any TV.

Hallo Andy,

daß mit den kleinen Stückzahlen konnte ich gestern eigentlich nicht beobachten. Da hat gestern einer verkauft und hat den Kurs mit nach unten gerissen. imo

55K ist kein Pappenstiel und waren wahrscheinlich nicht die einzigen aus diesem Verkauf. Bei ca 200K Gesamtumsatz mußt du dann schon nehmen, was dir die MMs anbieten.

Ich weiß nicht, ob daß jetzt schon alles war.

Ich werd mir die Töppen schnüren und mich mal ein bißchen Warmlaufen.

Der Trainer meint, ich solle mich bereithalten für die
2.Halbzeit.

Aber SPAZ steckt momentan in einer schwierigen Phase. Gerade die gestriege PR hats wiedermal gezeigt.
Mandell betont immer wieder das günstige Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und bietet "allinone" an. Dazu den Blick auf die Mitbewerber nicht verlieren.
Der Konkurrenzkampf scheint mir sehr hart.

Tja keiner mehr da von den Longs (and strong)?

Desper scheint seinen oder zumindest einen Teil seines Unterhalts mit dem Verkauf der Aktien zu finanzieren. Ist nicht weiter beunruhigend, da dies ja auch schon über einen langen Zeitraum reletav regelmäßig passiert, wobei der Kurs keine Rolle spielt.
Bei Segel bin ich mir nicht so sicher...

übrigens verkauft hat auch Desper im Dezember
