Naja, Charttechnik hin oder her.

Cendant (CD:NYSE - news - research) continued its push into the online travel business Thursday, agreeing to acquire the U.K. travel site ebookers (EBKR:Nasdaq - news - research) for $404 million in cash.
Cendant said the deal, which is worth $12.38 an ebookers American depositary share, will be backed by holders of at least 41% of ebookers shares.
"Ebookers will serve as the foundation for Cendant`s online travel consumer vertical in Europe," said Cendant`s Samuel Katz. "The addition of ebookers to our portfolio of travel distribution businesses immediately strengthens Cendant`s position as one of the world`s leading online travel distributors, and provides a foundation for significant growth opportunities in the fast-growing European online travel segment."
The news comes less than a month after New York-based Cendant sewed up its acquisition of U.S. airline site Orbitz for $1.2 billion. Cendant rival InterActiveCorp (IACI:Nasdaq - news - research) was rumored earlier this fall to be near a deal to buy ebookers, but no agreement ever materialized.
At midday Thursday, Cendant was off 8 cents at $23.34 and ebookers was up a nickel at $12.

Cendant To Buy Online Travel Provider EBookers >CD EBKR
12-02-04 01:04 PM EST
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Cendant Corp. (CD) confirmed it plans to acquire EBookers PLC (EBKR), and said it agreed to pay $404.3 million.
Earlier Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported Cendant is poised to buy the U.K.-based online travel site for 320 pence a share, beating bids from Priceline.com Inc. (PCLN) and others.
In a press release Thursday, Cendant said its proposal values EBookers at $ 12.38 an American depositary share.
The bid represents a premium of 3.6%, compared with EBooker`s Wednesday closing price of $11.95. The company`s American depositary shares recently changed hands up 16 cents, or 1.3%, to $12.11.
Cendant said EBookers provides a foundation for significant growth opportunities in the European online travel segment.
Cendant expects the proposed transaction to have a neutral effect on 2005 earnings as a result of integration charges, but the company anticipates the acquisition will add 2 cents to 3 cents a share the following year.
On Wednesday, Cendant said it expects earnings from continuing operations of $ 1.35 to $1.45 a share for 2005. For 2006, the company expects earnings of $1.62 to $1.72 a share.
Wall Street expects the company to earn $1.72 a share for 2004 and $1.83 a share for next year, according to Thomson First Call surveys of nine analysts. The two analysts covering Cendant for First Call produced a mean earnings forecast of $2.18 a share for 2006.
In 2003, Cendant had net income of $1.13 a share and reported earnings of $ 1.41 a share before accounting adjustments.
Cendant said Flightbookers Investments Ltd. backs the transaction, which has approval from the boards of Cendant and EBookers.
Flightbookers holds about 41.4% of EBookers` shares and is controlled by a trust that includes EBookers Chairman and Chief Executive Dinesh Dhamija.
Dhamija plans to resign from EBookers after the acquisition closes, but agreed to remain as a consultant.
Cendant said it will augment EBookers` long- and medium-haul segment operations with its own hotel, rental car and other long-haul ground products.
Cendant also plans to introduce short-haul product through HotelClub.com and its vacation rental group and timeshare businesses.
Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. served as Cendant`s financial adviser. Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Ltd. advised EBookers.

Cancellation of listing of ebookers 1 March
Shares and ebookers ADSs

Trotzdem - bissi nervös haste mich schon gemacht.
Ich wünsch Dir was
