In Canada wieder + 6,5 %.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2003--IMA Exploration Inc. (TSXV:IMR) is pleased to announce a progress report on assays received from the bonanza grade feeder structures and structurally controlled breccias at Navidad Hill (one zone within the 5.8 kilometre overall Navidad system). The strike length of bonanza grade structures has been extended by over 50% to a current total of 636 metres (from 402 metres previously announced), with a length weighted average of
162 ounces per ton (oz/t) silver (5,546 g/t), 3.8% copper and 9.8% lead. Individual samples of bonanza grade silver-copper-lead mineralization have returned remarkable values of up to {b]1,475 oz/t (50,520 g/t) silver[/b].
The 70 kilometre IP/Resistivity survey is nearing completion and preliminary results show an excellent correlation between mapped mineralization and chargeability; in addition, significant anomalies have been delineated under cover. Additional detailed sampling of replacement style mineralization (Previously reported exposed over several kilometers with an average grade of 4.61 oz/t (158 g/t) silver and 8.9% lead) is complete and results will be released when they are received in full. Results from ongoing gravity, magnetic, and IP/Resistivity geophysical work will be released as they are received and evaluated by IMA Geologists.

The Navidad discovery is without precedent in Patagonia and represents an exciting new style of mineralization for the region. A close geologic analogue for Navidad is the Eskay Creek Mine in British Columbia. Navidad is very well located and is less than 1 km from a provincial gravel highway, 45 km from the nearest town, 45 km from major high-voltage power lines, 190 km from a railway line, and 340 km from a deep-sea port.

Please refer to the Detailed Technical Summary in the appendix of this news release or IMA`s web site (www.imaexploration.com) for more detailed results.

IMA Exploration Inc. has a strong treasury to fund its exploration objectives. The Company focuses on quality exploration work designed to define economic gold and silver deposits in Argentina and Peru. IMA has put together an enviable property portfolio including over 37 well-located, high-potential projects and is continuing to add to this package through grass-roots exploration and staking.

Large Geophysical Anomaly Identified on IMA`s Navidad Bonanza-Grade Silver Discovery
      6/25/03

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 25, 2003 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
IMA Exploration Inc. (IMR-TSX.V) is pleased to announce the results from recently completed Induced Polarization (I.P.) geophysical surveys. The surveys have identified a chargeability anomaly with a surface footprint of 1.6 km x 1.3 km that starts near surface in areas of exposed mineralization and in some cases extends to depths of approximately 300 metres. IMA`s geological team believes that this anomaly significantly increases the potential size and importance of the Navidad discovery.

Survey results show an excellent correlation between chargeability and mapped exposures of more intense examples of replacement-style mineralization. Anomalous chargeability was expected from replacement-style mineralization based on laboratory testing of mineralized and unmineralized specimens. The large chargeability anomaly extends over 1 km to the southwest of known mineralization in an area completely obscured by soil cover. Chargeability anomalies are generally caused by minerals such as: base-metal sulphides, pyrite, graphite, hematite and magnetite. Pyrite, graphite, hematite, and magnetite have not been observed on surface at Navidad in quantities that could explain the anomaly.

IMA geologists believe that there is a high probability this anomaly represents base-metal sulfide minerals with associated silver-lead +/- copper similar to that which has been mapped on the property to date. Replacement mineralization mapped at Navidad includes galena-matrix breccia (158 g/t silver and 8.9% lead; previously reported) and mineralized carapace breccia (111.3 ounces per ton silver (3,785 g/t), 3.7% copper, 2.1% lead; previously reported).

Gradient I.P. totaling 80.3 line kilometres was performed over an area of 2.5 by 6.2 kilometers with 200 metre spaced lines, including the entire Navidad system and adjacent covered areas. Follow-up time domain Pole-Dipole I.P. (using dipole lengths of 20 and 100 metres) was performed over 8.5 line kilometres in the area of the Gradient-defined chargeability anomaly. The more precise Pole-Dipole survey confirms the large Gradient I.P. anomaly and provides three-dimensional information on the size and shape of the chargeable body. The I.P. surveys were performed by Quantec Geoscience Ltd.

Ongoing work at Navidad includes a gravity survey over the area of the 1.6 x 1.3 kilometre chargeability anomaly and a magnetic survey over the entire grid used for the I.P. survey. Detailed sampling of mineralization at Galena and Barite Hills is now complete and will be released shortly. Once all results have been received and interpreted, IMA`s technical team will plan a substantial drill program.

At 1:30PM Pacific Time on June 26, 2003, there will be a comprehensive overview of the impressive Navidad silver discovery to outline results to date and future exploration programs. The presentation will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Park Ballroom A, 2nd Floor, 791 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC.

Gravity Survey Defines Multiple Anomalies at IMA`s Navidad Project
      8/20/03

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Aug 20, 2003 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
IMA Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce the results from recently completed gravity and magnetic ground geophysical surveys at its Navidad Project, Argentina. Multiple gravity anomalies have been discovered, the largest and most important of which has a surface footprint of approximately 0.8km x 1.1km and shows an excellent correlation with portions of the previously announced 1.6 x 1.3 km IP chargeability anomaly (see June 25, 2003 news release).

This gravity data strongly supports the previous IP results that indicate the potential for significant extensions to defined surface mineralization both at depth and along strike. The magnetic survey has confirmed that the large chargeability and gravity anomalies are not caused by magnetic minerals such as magnetite or pyrrhotite.

A detailed gravity survey such as this will outline zones where the rocks have higher than average density. Where these gravity anomalies overlap with zones of high IP/chargeability, the likely cause of the combined anomalies is sulphide mineralization with or without barite. Portions of the combined gravity/IP response at Navidad correlate directly with outcrop exposures of replacement style galena matrix breccia at Galena Hill and with high-grade carapace breccia mineralization on the flank of Navidad Hill.

Galena Hill Anomaly: In the Galena Hill area, the gravity survey has defined an important anomaly with multiple peaks approximately 0.8 x 1.1 km in size. This anomaly has a `donut-like`form with a central low surrounded by higher density values; amplitude of this anomaly is approximately 0.6 to 0.8 milligals above surrounding values. This complex anomaly is partly coincident with, but somewhat smaller in size, than the previously announced Gradient and Pole-Dipole I.P. chargeability anomaly at Navidad. The anomaly is not reasonably explained by simple lithologic density variations and is most readily explained by the presence of sulphide/barite mineralization. Part of the gravity anomaly is spatially associated with mapped breccia-hosted mineralization on surface and it correlates very well with potential extensions to this mineralization indicated by the most intense Pole-Dipole IP chargeability anomaly on line 51,200E.

Navidad Hill Anomaly: A second gravity high of approximately 260 by 550m in diameter is spatially associated with mapped Bonanza Grade Structures at Navidad Hill. This anomaly may be caused by the combination of sulphide mineralization and the denser host rock of the flow dome at Navidad Hill relative to surrounding sediments. It covers the portion of the flow dome known to host Bonanza Grade Structures and their strike extension. Most of the rest of the flow dome is not represented by a gravity high.

Detailed information on the Navidad Project including the gravity and magnetic surveys is available on IMA`s web site at http://www.imaexploration.com.

Gravity data acquisition was performed by Proingeo S. A., an Argentine geophysical and topographic survey contractor. Quantec Geoscience provided consulting services to IMA on survey design and execution, has reviewed data quality, and built a three dimensional model of the survey results using the University of British Columbia (Canada) inversion software. Quantec reports raw data quality is very good. The gravity survey covers an area of approximately 2.2 by 2.5 km centred on the previously reported IP chargeability anomaly. It includes 385 gravity stations that were measured on two lines with closely spaced points and additional points spaced at about 100 by 200m intervals.

The magnetic survey was performed by Quantec Geoscience and covers the entire Navidad grid (7.2 x 2.5 km) totalling 88.7 line kilometres (including a 6.2km tie line). Data was collected at 10m intervals along lines spaced 200m apart. Quantec made standard corrections for diurnal variations and produced plan maps of the total field magnetic data and pole reduced data. Mapped mineralization at Navidad, Galena, and Barite Hills is not associated with magnetic anomalies nor is the IP chargeability anomaly. The area of the large gradient and Pole-Dipole IP chargeability is characterized by a low, flat magnetic response that indicates magnetite is not the source of the chargeability anomaly.

IMA Exploration Inc. has a strong treasury in excess of $4,000,000 to fund its exploration objectives. The Company focuses on quality exploration work designed to define economic gold and silver deposits in Argentina and Peru. IMA has put together an enviable property portfolio including over 37 well-located, high-potential projects and is continuing to add to this package through grass-roots exploration and staking.

      Mr. Anthony Beruschi reports
BONANZA GRADE GOLD AND SILVER AT PENASCUDO, ARGENTINA
Ballad Gold & Silver has received significant exploration results from its initial examination of the 9,000-hectare Penascudo gold-silver property located in Chubut province, Patagonia, Argentina, where bonanza grade gold and silver assays have been obtained from the newly named El Rey (the King) zone. Exceptional results and details from the property include: bonanza grade chip samples assaying up to 1,102.99 grams per tonne gold (32.18 ounces per ton) and 704.7 grams per tonne silver (20.56 ounces per
      ton) over 0.35 metre;
grab samples assayed as high as 1,098.23 grams per tonne gold (32.04 ounces per ton) and 1,144.5 grams per tonne silver (33.39 ounces per ton); the El Rey gold/silver zone has been mapped for 55 metres along strike and may be contained within a larger 600-metre-long structure; excellent access and infrastructure including nearby power; and many unexplored target areas exist on the property. Edward McCrossan, PGeo, independent qualified person, visited the Penascudo property and sampled the El Rey zone, obtaining exceptionally high-grade gold and silver values from both chip and grab samples, as referred to in his report dated Sept. 12, 2003.

The mineral deposit type being modelled for the Penascudo property is a low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver vein, breccia and stockwork system that contains bonanza grade or high-grade mineralized zones within a lower grade bulk tonnage disseminated deposit. Ballad`s results confirm and expand on prior limited work by IMA Exploration Inc. and Aur Resources Ltd. Preliminary work reports approximately 25 quartz veins or silicified zones containing veins, breccias, veinlets and /or stringers, as well as variably silicified volcanic host rocks having been mapped within a rhyolitic to dacitic flow dome complex on the property. Dimensions vary, but the structures mapped to date can extend 600 metres along strike and attain widths of up to 15 or 20 metres. Historically, these types of flow dome complexes have hosted bonanza grade mineralization and have included some of the large precious metals deposits in South America. Gold and silver mineralization, discovered to date at Penascudo, is hosted within irregular silicified zones, which contain variable amounts of hydrothermal breccias, quartz stockworks, stringers, veinlets and veins. Mineralization is associated with quartz veins, breccias and silicification and is located in an area mostly covered by overburden and vegetation. It is interpreted to be part of a low-sulphidation epithermal deposit that contains bonanza zones of high-grade gold and silver potentially within a lower grade, bulk tonnage deposit. Mr. McCrossan, PGeo, after visiting the property and completing his geological review, considers the discovery potential for new bonanza grade gold and silver zones to be excellent at both the El Rey zone and in other areas of the Penascudo property. Alteration, silicification, brecciation and quartz veins have been mapped throughout the property yet much of the El Rey zone and portions of the 9,000-hectare property are covered by shallow overburden and vegetation. The property has had no systematic geochemical sampling and has not been trenched or drilled in the past. Prior to Ballad`s examination only limited geological mapping and rock sampling were undertaken. Ballad is developing an extensive three-phase exploration program including geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys to investigate known zones and to identify further zones of precious mineral mineralization. In addition to the high-grade El Rey zone, important exploration targets on the property include two areas of hydrothermal breccia and/or quartz stockworks including a 980-metre-long-by-300-metre-wide-zone located on the southern flank of Cerro Penascudo. Andre Pauwels, vice-president of Ballad, comments: "We are very encouraged
by the initial exploration results demonstrating the existence of
exceptionally high-grade gold and silver within the large alteration system evident at Penascudo. Ballad is looking forward to a first exploration campaign of intense rock sampling and trenching aimed at the discovery of other zones with bonanza gold and silver grades and to outline the full extent of the exceptional gold and silver grades at the El Rey zone." The Penascudo gold-silver property is located in the Patagonia region of southern Argentina. This area in recent years has been a focus of major precious metal discoveries including the Cerro Vanguardia gold mine, the Esquel gold deposit, the San Jose silver and gold deposit, and the Navidad high-grade silver discovery by IMA Exploration. The Penascudo property is accessible via an unpaved secondary road passing through the middle of the claim group. A local power line follows the same route. Topography within the claim area is moderate with elevations ranging between 700 and 1,000 metres. Due to the excellent access, existing infrastructure and the reasonable topography, all future exploration and/or development projects would be logistically simple.
Sample collection, sample security, sample transportation, sample
preparation and analysis were all performed in compliance with best practices guidelines for mineral exploration. The samples were taken by Mr.
McCrossan in Argentina, maintained under his care and control and
personally transported by him to Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver, Canada. Silver content was determined by fire assay. For gold, Acme conducted two separate fire assays, on the + and -150 mesh fractions, reporting the weighted average of both assays. For quality control blanks and check samples were inserted and repeat assays were done. As an additional check, Ballad also submitted the samples to an ICP-ES analytical method. In addition to gold and silver, analysis was done for a 30-element suite of elements using the ICP-ES method. Ballad exercised its right to option the Penascudo gold and silver property from IMA Exploration on Aug. 12, 2003. Ballad can earn up to an 70-per-cent interest in the property from IMA Exploration, subject to a 1.5-per-cent net smelter return royalty in favour of IMA Exploration by completing $1.8-million (U.S.) in exploration and issuing a total of one million Ballad shares, paying $300,000 (U.S.) in year five and can earn a further 15 per cent for a total interest of 85 per cent by financing a feasibility study. Ballad`s exploration team is led by Mr. Pauwels, PGeo, formerly exploration manager with Cominco Ltd., specializing in property evaluation and the acquisition of base metal and precious metal projects worldwide emphasizing South America.

      Questionable Co-Incidental Correspondence

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMA Exploration Inc. reports that, late last week, it received a letter from Toronto based Aquiline Resources Inc. (TSX-V: AQI). The letter states that Aquiline recently acquired all the shares in an Argentinean company that owns the Calcatreu Project in Patagonia, Argentina, from Newmont Mining Corporation. The Calcatreu Project is approximately 40 kilometres from the Company`s Navidad Property. The letter requests that the Company provide Aquiline with information regarding the events and methods that led to the discovery and staking of the Navidad Claims. The letter makes no specific factual allegations or claims and asserts no specific cause of action against the Company, and appears to be part of a general investigation by Aquiline to determine whether the bidders for the Calcatreu Project, including the Company, complied with confidentiality agreements that the bidders signed in connection with the bid process for the Calcatreu Project.

The letter was received just prior to the announced closing date of the Company`s previously announced bought deal private placement and appears to be timed to negatively impact this financing. The Company asserts there is no basis for the inferences made in the correspondence. During the course of the due diligence for the financing, the letter was disclosed to the Company`s underwriters and their counsel and it is also being disclosed to the public. The Company is investigating the timing and intent of the letter and will respond as appropriate.

The receipt of this correspondence does not impact the ongoing operations of the Company. IMA will proceed with the planned exploration program on Navidad as well as other properties as previously scheduled.

IMA Exploration Inc.: Drill Results Indicate Large Mineralized System at Navidad
      12/17/03

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec 17, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
IMA Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce initial results from the diamond drill program at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad project, located in Patagonia, Argentina. Drilling to date has tested two small areas approximately 1,200 metres apart that are on the edge of a large geophysical chargeability anomaly (to see map click on the following link: http://www2.cdn-news.com/database/fax/2000/IMR1217.gif). Preliminary results indicate a very large, intensely altered and mineralized system. Results received to date compare favorably in terms of size and grade with numerous bulk tonnage silver deposits worldwide (ex: Pan American Silver`s Alamo Dorado deposit in Mexico, 35.5 M tonnes at 68 g/t silver).

Partial results have been received from the first four holes (to see map click on the following link: http://www2.cdn-news.com/database/fax/2000/IMR1217.gif), two of which were drilled on Navidad Hill and two on Galena Hill, as summarized in the results table in Appendix 1. At Navidad Hill, hole NV03-01 intersected 2,677.6 g/t silver over 0.8 m, or 535.6 g/t silver over 7.4 m, within a zone of 58.4 m averaging 111.1 g/t silver. On the same section, hole NV03-02 intersected 1,320.3 g/t silver over 1.1 m within a zone of 48.0 m that averaged 97.8 g/t silver. Preliminary drill results suggest that mineralization on Navidad Hill occurs predominantly as broad areas of stockwork and breccia, rather than narrow discrete structures as had originally been anticipated from the surface exposures.

Drilling has clearly demonstrated that the large IP chargeability anomaly is caused by sulfide mineralization, principally galena with local pyrite. In hole NV03-03, sulphide breccia mineralization was encountered over the entire 178.5m length of the hole. In hole NV03-04, 266.7 m of sulphide breccia was intersected to a vertical depth of 180m from surface. Results have been received for the upper 81.10 m of this hole, and intersected 111.3 g/t silver over 78.3 m including 169.2 g/t silver over 41.50 m and 223.4 g/t silver over 16.10 m at the bottom of this interval. Assays for the remaining 207 m of the hole are pending.

Drilling on Galena Hill has confirmed that anomalous chargeability values as defined by IP geophysical surveys (see release dated June 25th, 2003) are attributable to silver-lead (sulphide) mineralization over very long intersections in excess of 200 metres. These large widths have dramatic implications for the tonnage potential of this zone, given the 1.6 x 1.3 km size of the IP anomaly and that geophysics indicates depths locally extend to 300m. IMA geologists believe that significant silver-lead+/-copper mineralization may underlie large portions of the 1.6 x 1.3 km chargeability anomaly.

Eleven diamond drill holes (1,724 m total) have been completed to date, and results from the remaining seven holes are pending. Final results from this first phase of drilling will be disseminated when assays from all the holes are received from the lab. The geological crew is completing logging and sampling of core and drilling will resume early in the New Year after the holidays. IMA is committed to meet or exceed industry `best practices`under National Instrument 43-101; please see our website (www.imaexploration.com) for a detailed description of quality assurance and quality control procedures. Dr. Paul Lhotka, P.Geo. is IMA`s independent Qualified Person at the Navidad Project.

IMA Exploration Inc. has over $4,000,000 in its treasury to fund its exploration objectives. The Company focuses on quality exploration work designed to define economic gold and silver deposits in Argentina and Peru. IMA has put together an enviable property portfolio including over 37 well-located, high-potential projects and is continuing to add to this package through grass-roots exploration and staking.

      Also Kaufempfehlung 18.12.2003

Kaufen bis 1,7 CAD bzw. 1,05 Euro.
      Kursziel 3 - 6 Monate 2,50 CAD = 50%

Argentina, Dec 15, 2003 (BNamericas.com ) -- A court decision prohibiting open pit mining and the use of cyanide, often used in gold extraction, in southern Argentina’s Chubut province has discouraged investors from requesting new exploration concessions, the province’s former mining director Guillermo Hughes told BNamericas. Hughes said there would be many more requests for concessions if the court ruling had been different, especially given the current strong gold prices of over US$400/oz. "We would have had many more companies requesting permission to explore areas. We’ve already noticed a sharp decline in the number of exploration requests in recent months," Hughes said.

The ruling by a provincial court in the town of Esquel forced the suspension of exploration and works on the US$100mn El Desquite gold mining project proposed by Reno-based miner Meridian Gold (MDG).

Local inhabitants of Esquel protested against the neighboring mining project, and earlier this year, in a non-binding referendum, 81% of them voted against the mine’s construction.

Cyanide was the number one issue raised by residents, who feared contamination of their water supplies. The court also ruled out open pit mining.

Meridian appealed the decision in Argentina’s supreme court in October but a final ruling is yet to be issued. Hughes said that while new regulations had put off some new investments, miners already established in the province were staying in the hope that things would change in the future.

Two companies have begun drilling, Canada’s IMA Exploration (TSX-V: IMR) at its Navidad project and local company Patagonia Gold, owned by the UK’s HPD, at Cerro Crespo. New provincial governor Mario Das Neves, who took office December 10, said during his electoral campaign he would respect the wishes of the province as reflected in the El Desquite referendum.

So Schlußjurs 1,79 CAD.

      Bad news ?

IMA Exploration Inc. announces that Barrick Gold Corporation has elected not to proceed with an option to earn an interest in the Potrerillos or the Rio de las Taguas property located in San Juan Province, Argentina. The Potrerillos and Rio de las Taguas projects are located beside Barrick`s Veladero and Pascua gold discoveries in the El Indio gold belt, which is one of the most prolific mineral districts in the World. IMA will begin to pursue other partners for the continued exploration of these drill ready projects.

IMA Exploration Inc.: Drilling Expands Size and Silver
      Grade of Navidad Mineralized System

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--IMA Exploration Inc. (IMR-TSX.V) is
pleased to announce additional results from drill holes 4 & 5
drilled on Galena Hill at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad
Project. Highlights include 137 metres (m) grading 117 grams per
      tonne (g/t) silver from drill hole 4, 83m grading 229 g/t silver
      from hole 5.

Results from the completed drill holes 6 to 11 will be released
as available and the drill crew is now on route to complete the
remaining 1,700 m in the Phase 1 program. IMA`s Geologists are
very excited by the size potential indicated by the results to
date. Upon completion of the Phase 1 program results will be
analyzed to prioritize drill targets and to delineate the scope
of the Phase 2 drill program.

      Technical Summary

Drill hole NV03-04 was drilled to a depth of 287.9m at an angle
of -45 degrees and intersected brecciated volcanic rocks
containing significant sulphides (principally galena +/- pyrite)
from surface to 266.7m. The upper 200.2m of this hole returned an
average grade of 92.3 g/t silver and 2.49% lead including 55.1m
of 164.3 g/t silver and 2.97% lead from 39.6 to 94.7m (see table
below and attached section for complete results:
      http://www2.cdn-news.com/database/fax/2000/0106imr.pdf). This
very long intersection of strongly mineralized rock correlates
extremely well with anomalous chargeability values as measured by
pole-dipole IP on section 51200E and suggests that much of the
remaining 1.3 x 1.6 km chargeability anomaly may be mineralized
with galena and associated silver. Partial results from hole
NV03-04 were previously reported (see Dec 17, 2003 release).

NV03-05 was drilled to a depth of 217.7m at an angle of -60
degrees and intersected 27.5m of pyritic mudstone before
penetrating 125.1m of the same mineralized volcanic breccia cored
by hole NV03-04. Length weighted average grades include 229.2 g/t
      silver and 4.24% lead over 83.0m including 18.3m of 503.0 g/t
silver and 11.19% lead. The layered pyritic mudstone is important
in that it demonstrates the existence of a restricted basin into
which sulphides accumulated (principally pyrite in hole NV03-05)
indicating that the Navidad system vented hydrothermal fluids to
the paleosurface in a subaqueous environment. This mudstone
contains elevated zinc values (0.81% over the entire 27.5m
intersection) and strong silver and lead values near its bottom
contact where it contains crosscutting stringer veinlets of
      galena.

Drill holes NV03-04 and NV03-05 were drilled on section 51,160E
and were collared 133m apart. Previously announced hole NV03-03
was drilled on the same section and intersected 175.5m of 26.0
g/t silver and 1.35% lead over its entire length. It now appears
that NV03-03 was drilled at a shallow angle to the dip of the
strata and never crossed the core of the target. Holes NV03-04
and 05 appear to cross the geological units closer to
perpendicular and indicate true thicknesses of mineralization of
70 to 140m. Together these three holes indicate a mineralized
horizontal width of at least 340m on section 51160E.

IMA Exploration Inc. focuses on quality exploration work designed
to define economic gold and silver deposits in Argentina and
Peru. IMA has put together an enviable property portfolio
including over 37 well-located, high-potential projects and is
continuing to add to this package through grass-roots exploration
      and staking.

Das ließt sich doch gut. Kurs 1,89 $ .

IMA Exploration Inc.: Drilling on Navidad Hill
      Intersects 69m Grading 275 g/t Silver

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--IMA Exploration Inc. (IMR-TSX.V) is
pleased to report partial results from six diamond drill holes
located on Navidad Hill, at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad
silver discovery. Highlights include 83.6m (59.2m true width) of
      247 g/t silver in hole NV03-07 and 143.5m (101.5m true width) of
      146 g/t silver in hole NV03-08, including 68.6m (48.5m true
width) of 275 g/t silver (see attached cross section). These
results are located along the Navidad Mineralized trend, 1.2 km
northwest of Galena Hill. Drill results from Galena Hill
      announced on January 6, 2004, included 83m grading 229 g/t
      silver.

The drill results from the first eleven holes of the Phase I
drill program at IMA`s 100% owned Navidad silver project have
demonstrated potential for very large mineralized bodies.
Drilling continues and will focus on testing large zones of
anomalous geophysics (IP chargeability) at Galena Hill. Initial
drill results at Galena Hill have demonstrated an excellent
correlation between mineralized breccia and high chargeability.
Quantec Geoscience S.A. has been contracted to perform additional
pole-dipole IP that will be used to target ongoing drilling.

Drilling at Navidad Hill (drill holes NV03-01, 02, and 06 through
      10) has intersected numerous brecciated structures within a 50 to
100m wide zone of disseminated mineralization. Individual
structures and the overall zone are steeply dipping to vertical
and trend northwest. To date three sections have been drilled,
testing a strike length of 80m within the mapped 475m long
mineralized zone. Mineralization encountered to date at Navidad
Hill comprises mixed oxides and sulphides from surface to depth
extent of current drilling, 70m below surface. Results are
available at this time for all silver and available copper and
lead samples only; remaining values will be posted on the
Company`s website when they become available.

Drill hole NV03-11 was collared at the northwestern extremity of
the Navidad Hill area and intersected 10.58m of 98.3 g/t silver.
Below this interval the hole intersected a different sequence of
volcanic rocks that may be unrelated to mineralization at Navidad
Hill. There is potential for continuity from this hole to the
main Navidad Hill zone, 450m to the southeast. Further drilling
      is warranted in this area.

IMA has implemented a rigorous quality control and
quality-assurance program at the Navidad project. For details of
this program please see the document posted
www.imaexploration.com in the Navidad property section. Dr. Paul
Lhotka, P.Geo. is the "Qualified Person" at the Navidad Project
and has overseen all aspects of sample and data handling.

IMA Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce that the drilling program at the Company’s 100% owned Navidad silver discovery in Patagonia, Argentina, resumed on January 11, 2004 and to date has completed 23 drill holes consisting of 3,500 meters of core. So far the results of 11 holes have been previously announced and the remaining 12 holes will be released as the assay results are received. Furthermore, management has approved an additional 5,000 meters of drilling which will focus on a chargeability anomaly at Galena Hill with a surface footprint of 1.6 km x 1.3 km that starts near surface and in some cases extends to depths of approximately 300 metres.

With approximately $4,500,000 in the treasury, the Company has the financial strength to carry out its exploration objectives at Navidad and does not require additional financing in the immediate future to complete the planned drilling at Navidad. As of January 15th, IMA had 36.6 million shares issued and outstanding and 45 million fully diluted, including 6 million warrants that are all above their exercise price.

IMA has implemented a rigorous quality control and quality-assurance program at the Navidad project. For details of this program please see the document posted www.imaexploration.com in the Navidad property section. Dr. Paul Lhotka, P.Geo. is the “Qualified Person” at the Navidad Project and has overseen all aspects of sample and data handling.

IMA bringt Drilling Results. Bin mal gespannt.

IMA`s Drilling at Navidad Intersects 115 Meters Grading 454 g/t (13 oz/t) Silver at Galena Hill
      2/5/04

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Feb 5, 2004 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
IMA Exploration Inc. (IMR-TSX.V) is pleased to announce results from drill holes 12 through 14. Hole 14 contains the most significant drill intersection of high-grade mineralization encountered to date at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad silver discovery. Highlights include 18.0m of 1,421.2g/t (41.5oz/t) silver, 0.42% copper, 5.24% lead and 1.69% zinc within a much longer intercept of 115.1m grading 453.6 g/t (13.2oz/t) silver, 0.08% copper, 5.26% lead and 0.50% zinc (see Table 1). Hole NV04-14 is located approximately 160 meters along strike to the northwest from drill holes 3, 4, and 5 where results, including 83m grading 229g/t silver, were announced January 6, 2004.

The Company`s drill program is now on hole 27 and continuing at a rapid pace, with over 4,400m of the 8,500m expanded drill program completed to date. Drill results will be released as they are received and an updated summary of drill hole locations is available on IMA`s website (www.imaexploration.com), as is a summary of the Company`s rigorous quality-control and quality-assurance procedures. Dr. Paul Lhotka is IMA`s `Qualified Person`at the Navidad project and has overseen all aspects of the current program.

IMA Exploration Inc. is well financed to carry out its exploration objectives and focuses on quality exploration work designed to define economic gold and silver deposits in Argentina and Peru. IMA has put together an enviable property portfolio including over 37 well-located, high-potential projects and is continuing to add to this package through grass-roots exploration and staking.

      Technical Summary

The high-grade intercept in NV04-14 spans the contacts between sulphide-rich mudstones and underlying mineralized volcanic breccias. Locally, this Galena Matrix Breccia contains copper sulphides and may represent the subsurface equivalent of copper-bearing carapace breccias identified in the surface sampling. Hole NV04-14 is interpreted as being in or near a feeder zone of replacement mineralization within the volcanic stratigraphy; this stratigraphy is capped by stratiform mineralization at the base of the overlying mudstone unit. This mineralization is similar to, but higher-grade than the previously reported hole NV03-05.

Further evidence of stratigraphically-controlled mineralization was found in hole NV04-12 where again the contact of the mudstone-volcanic unit is mineralized. Mudstone-hosted stratiform mineralization in NV04-12 contains the first significant zinc values identified at Navidad, with some intervals containing up to 4.6% zinc. The zinc mineral has not been visually identified. The lower part of the mudstone unit in NV04-12 contains 9.0m of 41.6 g/t Ag, 8.01% lead and 2.56% zinc. The volcanic breccias immediately underlying the mudstone host Galena Matrix Breccia and returned an intercept of 7.7 m grading 70.8 g/t Ag, 9.60% lead and 0.54% zinc. The mudstone-volcanic contact is gently west-dipping and forms a dip slope with the mineralization present at shallow depths below surface. Hole NV04-12 indicates a style of mineralization with strong stratigraphic control that was predicted before drilling started by IMA geologists. This style of mineralization is contemporaneous with the replacement and structurally controlled mineralization previously discovered and highlights the contemporaneous nature of volcanism, sedimentation and mineralization.

Hole NV04-13 tested a zone of mineralization that outcrops on Galena Hill and is hosted along the margin of a felsic flow-dome. The hole intersected breccia that is interpreted to be structurally controlled and is sparsely mineralized with galena and pyrite. Assay results indicate the breccias are silver-bearing and contain an intercept of 44.7m grading 223.4 g/t silver, 0.16% copper and 0.56% lead. This mineralization is texturally distinct from the holes drilled at Navidad Hill. However, like mineralization at Navidad Hill, this intersection demonstrates the potential to find significant silver mineralization with low sulphide concentrations that are not associated with strong chargeability anomalies in the I.P. surveys.

      NEWS RELEASE - February 20, 2004
IMA`S DRILLING CONTINUES TO EXPAND SILVER DISCOVERY AT NAVIDAD

      TSX-V Symbol: IMR
      OTCBB Symbol: IMXPF
Frankfurt & Berlin Symbol: IMT (WKN 884971)

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMA Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce results from drill holes 15 to 20 at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad silver discovery. Holes 15 to 20 were all drilled in the Galena Hill area of the Navidad Project where drilling is currently testing the zone between Navidad and Galena Hills. Highlights of these holes include 113.5 g/t silver over 69.1m in hole 15 and 100.3 g/t silver over 66.5m in hole 19.

The Company’s Geologists are very encouraged by the continuity and grade of the drill results to date, which continues to expand the size of the mineralized body at Navidad. Crews are currently drilling hole 35, 14 holes are in various stages of analysis and results will be announced frequently over the next several weeks. IMA has completed approximately 6,000m of the planned 8,500m program; the results to date pertain to the first 3,340m.

Updated summaries of drill hole locations and results to date are available on IMA`s website (www.imaexploration.com), as is a summary of the Company`s rigorous quality-control and quality-assurance procedures. Dr. Paul Lhotka is IMA`s "Qualified Person" at the Navidad project and has overseen all aspects of the current program.

      Technical Summary

Drill holes NV04-15 and 16 were drilled on section 51,160E, extending the tested width to approximately 450m. NV04-15 extended the mineralization found in holes NV03-03, 04 and 05 approximately 100m towards grid north and returned 69.1m of 113.5 g/t silver and 1.46% lead including 8.5m of 461.7 g/t silver and 6.54% lead. This interval spans the lowermost portions of the mudstone unit and upper portions of the underlying volcanic rocks.

Holes NV04-17, 18, and 19 were drilled on section 51,000E and form a fence which when complete (including holes 14, 21, 22, and 23) will test a total width of approximately 700m. NV04-19 returned the best intersection from these new holes with 66.5m of 100.3 g/t silver and 2.74% lead including 8.4m of 177.4 g/t silver and 4.22% lead.

Drill holes NV04-15 through 20 and previous holes at Galena Hill have all intersected a similar stratigraphic sequence which includes, from lower to uppermost: an unmineralized basal sequence of hematitic volcaniclastic rocks; mineralized brecciated andesitic volcanic rocks; mudstones which often contain strataform silver-lead-zinc mineralization; and thinly bedded limestone which caps the stratigraphic sequence. Although the stratigraphic sequence is very consistent, the thicknesses of individual units are highly variable and suggest an environment of syn-depositional normal faulting. This environment of extensional tectonism and basin formation is typical of syn-volcanic and syn-sedimentary VMS (volcanogenic massive sulphide) deposits.

NV04-20 was drilled on section 50,800E and encountered a dramatically thinner stratigraphic section and topographically higher basement than in previous holes. It is interpreted that this hole was drilled in a restricted area of higher basement paleotopography.

Indications are emerging of lateral facies changes in stratigraphy and zoning of mineralization at Galena Hill. The southwestern flank of the hill is characterized by lower silver to lead ratios (holes NV04-12, 16, 17 and 18) likely indication a more distal portion of the hydrothermal system. This mineralization is a mix of synvolcanic and syn-sedimentary stratiform and replacement mineralization. Mudstones overlying the mineralized volcanics thicken towards the southwest. Towards the central part of Galena Hill the mineralization is higher grade and has higher silver to lead ratios. Mineralization extends from near surface to depths in excess of 100m and is predominantly synvolcanic replacement style (NV03-04, 05 and NV04-14 and 19). Highest silver grades are associated with increased copper grades and variable lead grades (NV04-13 and 14).

In addition to ongoing drilling, IMA has completed an additional 15.5 line kilometres of pole-dipole IP (induced polarization) geophysics. In general, the pole-dipole IP correlates well with the gradient IP previously completed, however it gives greater detail and allows inverted sections to be produced that have been successfully used to guide drilling to date. Pole-dipole IP shows highly elevated chargeability values (15 to 40 mV/V) in the Galena Hill area and moderately elevated values (7.5 to 15 mV/V) over a much larger area (1.8 x 1.4 km) between Galena and Navidad Hills and in the covered valley to the west. All IP geophysics has been performed by Quantec Geoscience Argentina S.A.

Aktueller Kurs 2,85 - 2,9 CAD entspricht knapp 1,75 Euro.

IMA Exploration Inc.: Drilling at Navidad Hits 20 Metres
      Grading 703 g/t (20.5 oz/t) Silver

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--IMA Exploration Inc. (IMR-TSX.V,
IMXPF-OTC.BB) is pleased to announce results from drill holes 21
to 30 at its 100% owned Navidad Project, located in Patagonia,
Argentina. Highlights of these results include 63.0m of 418.4 g/t
      (12.2 oz/t) silver, including 20.6m of 703.0 g/t (20.5 oz/t)
      silver, in hole 22, 83.6m of 321.7 g/t (9.4 oz/t) silver in hole
      21, and 8.0m of 303.4 g/t (8.9 oz/t) silver in hole 25. Hole 25
is significant in that it is the first drill hole to target a
northwest-trending, 5 to 6 km long geophysical anomaly located
approximately 800-1,000m to the southwest of Navidad and Galena
      Hills.

In addition to ongoing drilling, IMA geologists are currently
selecting composite samples that will be used for metallurgical
testing of silver-lead mineralization at Galena Hill. Also, IMA
has entered into discussions with various engineering groups
regarding the preparation of a preliminary resource estimate at
Galena Hill. It is expected that the results of these studies
will be available over the next few months.

Ongoing drill results will continue to be released as they are
received. Updated summaries of drill hole locations and results
to date are available on IMA`s website (www.imaexploration.com),
as is a summary of the Company`s rigorous quality-control and
quality-assurance procedures. Dr. Paul Lhotka is IMA`s "Qualified
Person" at the Navidad project and has overseen all aspects of
      the current program.

The Company will be attending the PDAC conference from March 7 -
10, 2004, located in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North
Building. Shareholders and interested parties are invited to
visit IMA`s management and geologists at booth #3001 in room 206
on the street level where drill core from the Navidad project
      will be on display

      Technical summary

Drill holes NV04-21 and 22 were collared on section 51,000E and
extend mineralization defined by hole NV04-14 (115.1 m of 453.6
g/t Ag) approximately 150m to the northeast. Hole 21 returned
      83.6m of 321.7 g/t silver and 0.47% lead including 20.6m of 703.0
      g/t silver and 0.54% lead. Hole 22 returned 63.0m of 418.4 g/t
silver and 1.82% lead including 13.1m of 923.3 g/t silver and
1.7% lead. These holes are in the area of an interpreted feeder
structure that runs along the northeast side of Galena, Navidad,
and Barite Hills. In addition to generally higher silver grades
closer to this interpreted structure, silver to lead ratios and
copper values are generally higher indicating a more proximal
position in the overall hydrothermal system. Lead grades and
sulphide abundances are generally lower, therefore this style of
mineralization is not expected to produce a strong geophysical
chargeability response. Ongoing drilling at Galena Hill will
target the extension of this interpreted feeder structure.

Hole NV04-25 was collared approximately 800 m to the southwest of
Galena Hill and was drilled towards a linear multi-parameter
geophysical anomaly that includes a chargeability high,
resistivity high, magnetic high and gravity high in a largely
covered area. The hole intersected a zone of calcite and barite
veinlets and stockwork with minor amounts of sulfide that cuts
volcanic rocks of intermediate composition at 162.7 to 170.7m and
grades 303.4 g/t silver and 0.31% lead. The orientation and
geological significance of the zone are unclear but the high
silver to base metal ratio is very favourable. The geophysical
anomaly shows good continuity along strike for approximately 5 to
6 kilometres. Further drilling along this anomaly will follow up
      this very encouraging new discovery.

Drill hole NV04-28 was drilled on section 51,160E between
previous holes NV03-05 and NV04-15. It intersected 67.0m of 152.5
g/t silver and 2.13% lead and confirmed the continuity of
stratigraphy and mineralization in that portion of Galena Hill.

Ongoing drilling is designed to rapidly drill off the most
promising portions of Galena Hill at approximately 100 m centers.
Once this is complete within the next few weeks, efforts will
shift to continued drill testing of Navidad Hill and other
promising targets including: Barite Hill (67 measured chip
samples returned 109 g/t silver and 4.73% lead), Calcite Hill
(large unexplained silver and lead in soils anomaly), and the
linear multi-parameter geophysical anomaly tested by hole
NV04-25. IMA`s geologists and management are excited that these
additional targets may substantially add to the mineralization
defined to date at Galena Hill.
