The Spectra(TM) reactor is an extension of Tegal`s patented dual frequency technology for the patterning of difficult-to-etch metal and metal oxide films based on inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technology. The tool is targeted for a wide spectrum of next generation magnetic materials including NiFe (permalloy) and FeN (iron nitride), in addition to advanced thin dielectric gap films such as aluminum oxide (alumina). The Tegal 6550 also incorporates patented rinse-strip-rinse process capability that is proven to eliminate corrosion in thin magnetic materials.

Weder Du noch ich noch andere hier wissen wirklich was bei dieser Firma abgeht (übrigens habe ich auch ein paar von den Dingern).

Also wenn Du "Liebe" oder "Fans" brauchst geh lieber zum Fußball; wenn Du Kohle brauchst bleib bei der Börse - aber dann ohne Deine "Verliebtheitsanfälle"!

Mag ja sein, dass ich die Leute richtig nerve, mein lieber franke66, aber wenn ich so was lese, wird mir klar, dass wir es nur im Glücksfall mit einem Gewinner zu tun haben können. Würdest Du auch nur einen Hauch von "financial behavior" verstehen, so würden Dir nicht solche "Unverschämtheiten" mir gegenüber herausrutschen.

Außerdem wäre ich froh, wenn von Dir auch mal einige Vorschläge und kostruktive Beiträge kommen würden - und nicht nur immer so ein "Mitgequassel".

Wenn Du dann richtig tolle Vorschläge gemacht hast, und mal mehr begriffen hast können wir ja weiter reden.

Eins ist klar Falke wie Du schon sagst wir sind hier um uns nicht zu verlieben in eine Aktie das könne wir auch zu hause im Bett und da macht es mehr Spass
Andererseits kann ich auch die übergroße Freude verstehen wenn gute Nachrichten von Tegal kommen und man sich dann (kurzfistig!) verliebt..

Wie auch immer wir sollten wieder unsere kontruktiven Gedanken und vor allem das wissen austauschen und nicht aufeinander losgehen.
Nur so läßt sich auch manchmal gemeinsam etwas erreichen!

Ja verdammt, Du hast ja auch nicht unrecht. Allerdings nörgele und stänkere ich nicht unbegründet - das das vielen nicht passt ist klar.

Eigentlich ist das aber gar nicht so böse gemeint wie es klingt. Das Geschäft ist knllhart an der Börse und nicht für "Träumer". Immerhin habe ich auch mal angefangen und weiß das.

Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Assets of Simplus Systems Corp.


PETALUMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2003--Tegal Corporation (Nasdaq:TGAL - News), a leading designer and manufacturer of plasma etch and deposition systems used in the production of integrated circuits, today announced financial results for the second quarter of its fiscal year 2004, which ended September 30, 2003. Tegal also announced the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase substantially all of the assets of Simplus Systems Corporation, developer of a unique Nano Layer Deposition cluster tool and processes for barrier, copper seed and high-K dielectric applications.

Tegal`s revenues for the fiscal second quarter were $3.2 million, an increase of 20% from $2.7 million for the same quarter last year (the fiscal second quarter of 2003), and a decrease of 17% from $3.9 million reported for the fiscal first quarter of 2004. The Company reported a net loss of $1.7 million, or ($0.10) per share, for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $4.8 million, or ($0.33) per share in the comparable quarter one year ago. Sequentially, Tegal`s reported loss increased from the reported $1.3 million, or ($0.08) per share in the fiscal first quarter of 2004. Tegal`s loss included non-cash interest expense of approximately $0.3 million related to its recent convertible debt financing. Excluding the non-cash interest expense, Tegal`s net loss would have been $1.4 million, or ($0.08) per share, the same as the first quarter of this fiscal year.

In a related announcement, Tegal reported that it had signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets and assume certain liabilities of Simplus Systems Corporation. A privately-held, development stage company based in Fremont, California, Simplus was founded in 1999 to develop unique Nano Layer Deposition (NLD) and Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) systems and process solutions. Simplus offers a multi-chamber tool incorporating its patented NLD and Plasma Enhanced NLD processes that are similar to Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), but with much higher throughput. The deal is expected to close later this month.

"Our recent business wins, the completion of a significant capital infusion, and now the acquisition of the Simplus Systems assets illustrate our commitment to increase revenue, margins and overall growth," said Michael L. Parodi, Tegal`s Chairman, President & CEO. "While our second quarter did not yet reflect the results our actions were designed to generate, we are confident that revenues in the second half of our fiscal year will grow. The addition of the Simplus technology provides us a third major complementary product line to leverage into our award-winning, worldwide service, customer support and sales infrastructure. We believe this product has great potential."

Highlights of Tegal`s second fiscal quarter included:

Continued improvement in gross margins - gross margins improved to 31% compared to 27% in the first fiscal quarter and (61%) in the second fiscal quarter one year ago;
Operating losses remained flat - $1.3 million loss in the second fiscal quarter was the same as the first fiscal quarter, but represented an improvement of over $3.4 million compared to the second quarter one year ago in which Tegal reported a loss of $4.7 million;
Cash increased - to $7.1 million from $1.2 million in the prior quarter, as a result of the completion of a private placement of convertible debentures. Tegal`s cash stood at $4.2 million in the same quarter one year ago;
An order from a leading Japanese producer of electronics devices for a second Spectra(TM) process module for the Tegal 6550 critical plasma etch system used in the production of MRAM devices;
The sale of a 901e diode plasma etch system to a leading supplier of automotive electronics devices to many Japanese car manufacturers;
Notice from Nasdaq that the Company had regained compliance with the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement;
The completion of a two-step private placement of convertible debt, which Tegal shareholders approved on September 8. The financing raised a total of $7.2 million from investors. Proceeds of the offering are to be used for Tegal`s general working capital requirements; and
The announcement by Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Sputtered Films, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tegal, that it had achieved a breakthrough in reactive sputter deposition relating to a new set of process applications for the Endeavor PVD cluster tool. The award-winning Endeavor system deposits consistent, high purity films with low to zero stress values in an extremely clean process environment.
In October, Tegal also announced an order from a large, European semiconductor manufacturer for two Tegal 980 Series diode plasma etch systems, which will enable the customer to expand into fabricating commercial quantities of specialized MEMS (Micro Electrical Mechanical Systems) and other nanotechnology devices. Earlier in the same month, Tegal announced the sale of a 903e diode plasma etch system to a MEMS manufacturer located in Australia.
