Dieser Markt wird von Fachleuten aktuell allein in den USA auf ein Volumen von USD 58 Mrd. taxiert und erfreut sich starker Wachstumsraten. Und beide Gesellschaften arbeiten an natürlichen Wirkstoffen, die helfen, einen erhöhten Cholesterinspiegel zu senken und damit dem stärksten Auslöser gefährlicher Herz-/Kreislauferkrankungen vorzubeugen. Allein dieses Segment wird in Expertenkreisen als milliardenschwer eingeschätzt, was genau der Grund für das heftig ausgebrochene Interesse der institutionellen Investoren an FORBES MEDI-TECH und seinem Präparat Phytosterol ist. Die Aufgabenstellung: Konzeption und Durchführung einer Investor-Relation Road-Show, mit der die Story von NUTRACEA dem breiten Anlegerpublikum und institutionellen Investorenkreisen schmackhaft gemacht werden soll. Damit wird es jetzt ganz heiss, denn: Neben der Direktansprache von VC-Investoren und entsprechenden Fonds dürften als erstes die typischen Multiplikatoren wie Börsenmagazine, Newsletter aber auch Analysten bei Brokerhäusern mit dem spannenden Material gefüttert werden. Bitte betrachten Sie sich hierzu die nebenstehenden Zahlen im Detail: In den Jahren 2001 und 2002 schrieb man bei NUTRACEA bei mässigen Umsätzen noch starke Verluste von USD 3 Mio. resp. sogar USD 3.7 Mio.! Bereits das abgelaufene Jahr 2003 lässt eine deutliche Verbesserung erkennen: Vom Q1 bis Q3 haben sich die Umsätze verdreifacht! Bis 30.09. hat die Gesellschaft bereits den gleichen Umsatz erzielt, wie im Gesamtjahr 2002. Im Gegenzug zeigen die Verluste eine massive Rückzugsbewegung: Wurden 2002 noch Verluste in Höhe von USD 3 Mio. geschrieben, dürfte die Erfolgsrechnung 2003 maximal mit einem Minus von USD 1.5 Mio. schliessen. Das sind natürlich keine Glanzzahlen, bedenkt man aber, dass die Gesellschaft nach dem Marktstart von CEA-100 Anfang Februar von vervierfachten Tagesumsätzen berichtete, kommt jetzt unmittelbar realistische Phantasie sogar in Richtung Break-even auf, die im Markt entsprechend Widerhall finden wird. So wird beispielsweise der Konkurrenten LIFEWAY FOODS mit einem Kurs/Umsatzverhältnis von etwa 15 gehandelt, FORBES MEDI-TECH weisen in der Bewertung bei einer aktuellen Market Cap von USD 225 Mio. sogar ein Umsatzvielfaches von gut 35 aus! Noch drastischer die canadische BURCON NUTRA SCIENCE, die bislang überhaupt noch keine operativen Umsätze erzielt und dennoch mit einer Market Cap von USD 25 Mio. bewertet wird! Unterstellt man den gleichen Bewertungsfaktor für NUTRACEA wie für FORBES MEDI-TECH, dann müsste die Gesellschaft statt mit einer Market Cap von USD 3.65 Mio. mit bis zu USD 65 Mio. am Markt bezahlt werden! Geht man konservativer nur von der Hälfte dieses Aufschlags aus, was einer Bewertung wie bei LIFEWAY FOODS entspräche, dann müsste der Titel mit einer Market Cap von USD 26 Mio. trotzdem 7-8 mal höher notieren als heute!! Die Konsequenz:
Die Chance, bei einer Story wie FORBES MEDI-TECH, die binnen zwei Jahren von USD 0.45 auf zuletzt Rekordhochs von USD 7.60 um sage und schreibe 1’600% explodiert ist, jetzt unmittelbar ganz von Anfang dabei sein zu können, wird sich niemand entgehen lassen! Darum heisst es jetzt sofort eine Startposition zu beziehen, bevor die eingeleiteten Marketing- und Investor-Relations-Kampagnen die bislang noch unentdeckte Perle ganz nach oben auf die Kauflisten katapultiert! Der Blick auf den Kurzfristchart belegt: Noch ist diesem Titel überhaupt nichts passiert, auch die optisch auffällige Umsatzausweitung der letzten Monate ist nur rechnerisch bedingt durch den Reverse-Split vom November 2003 im Verhältnis 10:1! JA... mich überzeugt das nicht. Hört sich alles nach einer verdammt dünnen Finanzdecke an.
Wer kann überhaupt nachweisen das die ursprünglichen Erwartungen so gering waren? Vielleicht nur ein geschickter Schachzug? Wer sagt denn mir-das das derzeitige Verkaufniveau überhaupt hoch ist?
Für mich sieht das sehr sehr spekulativ aus. Wenn man sich den Chart ansieht: Empfehlung kam raus... die Leute haben gekauft... und dann ging der Kurs richtig schön in die Knie.
Oftmals kaufen sich doch die so genannten Analysten die Aktien vor einer Empfehlung.. und gehen direkt danach wieder raus... Das ist deren Art mit Empfehlungen Geld zu machen. Daytrading. Ich sage nicht das alle so sind, oder das es bei dieser Aktie so ist- Ich bin im moment noch skeptisch. Beobachte lieber die Aktie und wenn es aufwärts geht dann im rechten Moment mit einsteigen.
Wenn die Aktie doch soviel Potential hat (500%-1000%).. dann kann man doch jetzt ert einmal warten und zusehen bis der chart eindeutig nach oben zeigt und aufspringen (gibt dafür ja schöne kauf optionen..)

M.e. kann man zur Zeit keine Angabe machen, in welche Richtung der Chart ausschlagen wird. Aus den Deutschen Charts wird man eh nicht schlau, ein Blick auf den US-Chart zeigt das sich gerade eine Widerstandslinie um 1,50$ bildet. Sollte diese nach unten durchbrochen werden... sollte man auf keinen Fall kaufen.
Wie gesagt ich würde bei dieser Aktie auf ganz klare Signal aus den Chart warten... Denn: wenn diese Aktie das große Potential hat, so muß es einfach egal sein-ob man diese für 1,5$ bekommt oder für 1,7$.

ich bin derzeit nicht direkt in Biotech investiert. Ich habe auch nicht die große Ahnung von den OTC-BB Markt. Da bin ich eher auf Empfehlungen angewiesen. Bei entsprechenden Empfehlungen versuche ich die Aktie mit meinen eigenen Mitteln zu durchleuchten. In einigen wenigen Fällen geht es dabei überhaupt nicht um Fakten sondern um Fantasien. Nutracea lebt derzeit von der Fantasie. Deswegen ist Sie unheimlich schwer zu beurteilen.
Ein wenig besser steht NTHR (Newtech...blabla)und Investnet da... hier kann man, wenn man (m.e.)jetzt schnell genug ist, in kurzer Zeit ordentlich Gewinne machen. Einfach mal die beiden Aktien anschauen, Threads verfolgen und entscheiden.

Ich habe eher den Eindruck die Aktie wandert gerade Richtung in Vergessenheit zu geraten.
Wennn die Fillings wieder steigen und dazu die Kurse weiterhin nach oben zeigen - dann erst würde ich raten miteinzusteigen... Ansonsten gilt immer der scalping Verdacht.

According to the experts, the shift to agriculture produced a complex system of food design and techniques for processing and storage that, did everything but improve the nutritional content of our food.

Der momentane Chart erinnert mich ein bischen an die Physik Vorlesung: eine gedämpfte Schwingung...die Nulllinie stellt etwa die 1.30$ dar. Wird evtl. eine Wiederstandslinie werden.

Ich will hier niemandem etwas unterstellen, wie die Erfahrung und die Vergangenheit jedoch gezeigt haben, sind solche Zusammenhänge oft nicht rein zufällig. So langsam könnte aber mal was kommen!! 
Die totale Investorverarsche. Entweder ist der Bericht wirklich noch nicht fertig (Gründe: Keine Ahnung) oder die Zahlen sind grottenschlecht (was ich nicht hoffe). In Berlin verlassen jedenfalls schon einige das Schiff. Ich werde mal die Rettungsweste anlegen und hoffen, dass der Pott nicht sinkt. Auf der Homepage war übrigens auch noch nichts.

Three-Month Period Ended March 31, 2004 versus 2003-
Revenues of NutraCea decreased by $103,922, to $122,069 for the quarter endedMarch 31, 2004 from $225,991 for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. In March 2003the NutraGlo subsidiary recorded a sale of approximately $203,600; thecorresponding sale in 2004 in the amount of $199,300 was not recorded untilApril 2004. Consumer and industrial sales increased by approximately $90,000 inthe first quarter of 2004 compared to the first quarter of 2003, whilecommission income and reimbursed shipping charges increased by approximately$9,800.
Cost of goods sold decreased by $48,734, to $78,665 for the quarter ended March31, 2004 from $127,399 for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. The decreaserelates directly to the decrease in sales.
Operating expenses increased by $17,383,852, to $17,846,459 for the quarterended March 31, 2004 from $462,607 for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. Most ofthe increase is due to increased non-cash stock and option awards in the amountof $16,963,184. We are continuing in 2004 to conserve our positive cash positionby issuing options and stock for services whenever possible. Other increasesinclude commissions and finders fees in the amount of $170,438, professionalfees of $54,830, and promotional and marketing expense of $45,210. In addition,salaries and wages increased by approximately $150,000 due to one-time cashbonuses to the CEO and President.
Interest expense decreased by $16,696, to $495 for the quarter ended March 31,2004 from $17,191 for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. The decrease is due tointerest expense on notes that were paid off in 2003.
LIQUIDITY AND SOURCES OF CAPITAL
NutraCea has incurred significant operating losses since its inception, and, asof March 31, 2004 NutraCea had an accumulated deficit of $39,155,940. However,at March 31, 2004, NutraCea had cash and cash equivalents of $1,937,454 andworking capital of $1,006,764.
To date, NutraCea has funded its operations, in addition to sales revenues,through a combination of short-term debt and the issuance of common andpreferred stock. During the three months ended March 31, 2004, NutraCea raiseda total of $2,744,507 from the exercise of options and warrants to purchase6,490,711 shares of common stock. NutraCea continues to pursue cost cutting orexpense deferral strategies in order to conserve working capital.
Based on management`s financial projections, NutraCea has enough cash reservesto finance our business plan through fiscal year 2004. Alternatively, NutraCeamay seek interim financing in the form of bank loans, private placement of debtor equity securities, or some combination thereof. Such interim financing maynot be available in the amounts or at the times when NutraCea requires, and willlikely not be on terms favorable to NutraCea.

We are continuing in 2004 to conserve our positive cash positionby issuing options and stock for services whenever possible. Other increasesinclude commissions and finders fees in the amount of $170,438, professionalfees of $54,830, and promotional and marketing expense of $45,210. In addition,salaries and wages increased by approximately $150,000 due to one-time cashbonuses to the CEO and President.
Interest expense decreased by $16,696, to $495 for the quarter ended March 31,2004 from $17,191 for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. The decrease is due tointerest expense on notes that were paid off in 2003.
LIQUIDITY AND SOURCES OF CAPITAL
NutraCea has incurred significant operating losses since its inception, and, asof March 31, 2004 NutraCea had an accumulated deficit of $39,155,940. However,at March 31, 2004, NutraCea had cash and cash equivalents of $1,937,454 andworking capital of $1,006,764.
To date, NutraCea has funded its operations, in addition to sales revenues,through a combination of short-term debt and the issuance of common andpreferred stock. During the three months ended March 31, 2004, NutraCea raiseda total of $2,744,507 from the exercise of options and warrants to purchase6,490,711 shares of common stock. NutraCea continues to pursue cost cutting orexpense deferral strategies in order to conserve working capital.
Based on management`s financial projections, NutraCea has enough cash reservesto finance our business plan through fiscal year 2004. Alternatively, NutraCeamay seek interim financing in the form of bank loans, private placement of debtor equity securities, or some combination thereof. Such interim financing maynot be available in the amounts or at the times when NutraCea requires, and willlikely not be on terms favorable to NutraCea.

NutraCea Signs Estimated $5 Million Private Label Agreement With Nussentials, Inc.

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NutraCea (OTC Bulletin Board: NTRZ - News), a leading nutraceutical company whose products are based on proprietary stabilized rice bran and its derivatives, announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Nussentials, Inc. -- a Houston- based company focusing exclusively on marketing nutraceutical products utilizing the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business model. The deal represents estimated revenues of $5 million over the course of the next two years.
According to the agreement, NutraCea will provide Nussentials with six different products, which Nussentials will then market directly to consumers utilizing an extensive distribution network that it will build exclusively for this purpose. The first products should be shipped to consumers during the third quarter of 2004.
"After our six-month-long new product evaluation process, we came to the conclusion that NutraCea`s stabilized rice bran derivatives have the potential of becoming the next blockbuster product line in the nutraceutical market. We feel that by marrying their product line with one of the most aggressive compensation models in the D2C industry, we could quickly make our NutraCea manufactured private label brand a household name. Based upon conservative estimates, we believe we will purchase up to $5 million worth of NutraCea products within the first 18-24 months," says Dean Morgan, spokesperson for Nussentials, Inc.
