die Zahlen sind nicht so toll - Umsatz stimmt (knapp 4Mio. USD) aber davon sind gerademal 108.000USD an Gewinn übrig geblieben. Aber immerhin hat man in kürzester Zeit 27Mio. USD Cash angesammelt.

also immerhin noch die umsatzsteigerung von 88% - an dieser stelle ist man natürlich in den letzten quartalen verwöhnt worden ...

operative cash flow ist allerdings mit 1,3 mio angegeben ... das ist sehr gut. die neuen shares haben zu preisen deutlich über 10 dollar abnehmer gefunden ... und digital arrow wird erst ab dem nächsten quartal voll relevant für die bücher ...

bei den kosten ist allem marketing und administrative ... zu buche geschlagen ... da wollen wir mal hoffen, dass da auch ein teil der integrationkosten von digital arrow schon enthalten ist ... immerhin noch alles grün ...

mein fazit: beim umsatz habe ich tatsächlich mehr erwartet; ansonsten ist das inzwischen eine bilanz die sich wahrlich sehen lassen kann: fast 3 dollar cash pro aktie, dann der anteil von ltrim der wohl auch mit weit über einem dollar pro aktie bewertet werden kann. wachsendes operatives geschäft ... ich denke die aktie kann schon sehr bald wieder zweistellig notieren...

Mama sieht techn. nicht einwandfrei aus, es könnte gar noch ein Rutsch gen 4$ bevorstehen, doch könnte ebenfalls ein akt. symmetrisches Dreieck im weekly kontra gen Bruch Ab-T Sequenz gelöst werden >6 (fallend)

Mamma.com (MAMA:Nasdaq - commentary - research) surged 10% late Tuesday after the company filed with Canadian securities regulators to buy back up to 600,000 common shares over the next year.
The Montreal-based Internet search engine company said Tuesday that it would make the move to boost shareholder value and to increase earnings per share. The company said it has some $27 million in cash in the bank and around 12.2 million shares outstanding.

Mamma`s shares surged early in 2004 as investors bid up shares across the Internet space, buoyed in part by the prospect of a landscape-remaking Google (GOOG:Nasdaq - commentary - research) initial public offering. But the stock sank this summer after the company shifted its focus from organic growth to acquisition-driven expansion, a decision that led Net investor Mark Cuban to dump his stake.


In after-hours trading Tuesday, Mamma.com shares jumped 53 cents to $5.88.

... kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. das volumen ist dann doch zu hoch für manipulationen. ich mein wenn ein fond mit hohen stückzahlen einsteigt, und irgend jemand ist mit hohen stückzahlen eingestiegen, dann zieht das den kurs plötzlich nach oben. und was liegt näher bei so einem upanddownwert, als ebenso plötzlich gewinn einzustreichen. aber wie gesagt, es ging hoch mit hohem volumen und runter mit niedrigem volumen, und im afterhours zuckts schon wieder hoch...

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 25, 2004--Mamma.com Inc., (NASDAQ: MAMA - News; the "Company"), and Copernic Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a letter of intent ("LOI") whereby Mamma.com would acquire all of the shares of Copernic Technologies for a combination of cash and shares of Mamma.com Inc. The closing of the acquisition will be effected by the parties pursuant to a definitive purchase agreement, when and if negotiated and entered into by Mamma.com and Copernic.
