Analysierendes Institut Prudential. /he/hi

It was a real interesting Conference, esp. for the Doctors of board. More a Q/A of the major players in Lupus and grilling Stump About lupus trial and how Lymphostat fits in, He really came off well, and will summarize some points. It will be archived I think for a few weeks, worth listening to over weekend.Go to HGSI site for archive.
Talked about drugs curretnly in trial for Lupus.. Lymphostat, riquent,rituxin,ctlla4,cellcept, eculizamab, abaltion, epratazamab.
** Been in talks recently with leaders in field on trial design, and FDA really have great talks and give/take and information on the lupus trial and becuase of the fast track and CMA status its ongoing.
Q/A:
** More complicated trial assumptions because 2 endpoints, beuase of how trial was designed and the FDA right after coming out with their Lupus standards for Industry- called HGSI and Dr. Stump and told them because of how the trial was designed, They would regard it as a pivitol trial in same situations depending on results.
Because of this, HGSI had to change some parameters, and have a external safety committe oversee trial and keep blinded from HGSI and the investigators, so anyone with a financial interest would not know before.
It was then power to be more rigourous statistical analysis plan and adjustments, like a phase 3 trial design
** showing biological activity across the different dosing in the RA trial very significant and didn`t expect that. Dr. Stump said the better results in the low dosing may just be a statistical aberration, and he looks at the "pooling" of total results at this point becuase trial size small, They will monitor closely and have taken that into consideration in designing the PHASE 3 trial
Have a good one! gontard
