Was können wir also in Zukunft so erwarten?
SINGAPORE, Dec 13 (Reuters) - SBI E2-Capital Holdings Ltd, a Singapore investment bank part-owned by Japanese venture capital group Softbank Investment Corp (8473.T: Quote, Profile, Research) , plans to raise S$8-S$10 million ($4.6-$5.8 million) in an IPO in January, sources said on Saturday.
A draft prospectus for SBI E2-Capital Holdings Ltd, the most active issue manager this year in the city state`s fast growing initial public offering (IPO) market, appeared on the Singapore central bank`s Web site on Friday but contained no details on timing or the amount to be raised.
SBI E2-Capital said in the prospectus it planned to use the money raised to expand into stock broking.
Banking sources told Reuters that the boutique investment bank aimed to offer in January about 40 million shares, in a mix of new shares and some from existing shareholders.
About 15 percent of the company would be listed, the sources said.
This suggested an offer price of 20 to 25 Singapore cents but a source involved in the IPO preparations said the money could be raised by issuing fewer shares at 26-28 Singapore cents each.
SBI E2-Capital had planned to list this year but the source said the issue had been delayed as the company had been busy organising IPOs for other firms.
The bank has managed 15 of Singapore`s 54 IPOs so far this year, more than anyone else. The S$150 million it raised make it the third largest IPO manager in the city.
Singapore was the world`s fourth-fastest growing market for IPOs in the first 10 months of the year, according to market research firm Thomson Financial data.
Daiwa Securities SMBC Singapore Ltd and Nomura Singapore Ltd have been appointed the joint lead managers of the public offer, SBI E2-Capital said in the prospectus.
It said it made a net profit of S$3.02 million last year, nearly four times the S$797,000 it earned the previous year.
SBI E2-Capital, 20 percent owned by Softbank Investment Corp, would be the first financial institution to list shares in Singapore since rival UOB Kay Hian Holdings Ltd`s (UOKH.SI: Quote, Profile, Research) listing on October 2000, the banking sources said.

2002, BIOVISION CAPITAL CORP. was established, and launched to invest in

21st century. The company developed a cooperative relationship in nurture of
biotechnology venture field, such as Keio University and an agency affiliated with
the Saitama Prefectural Government. The company strives to foster biotechnology

nurture global biotechnology companies. In the LBO fund business, SOFTBANK
INVESTMENT CORPORATION capitalized as the largest shareholder of KAWADEN
CORPORATION, a company that filed for the Civil Rehabilitation Law, and has
sent directors to this company to implement radical management reforms and
rationalization measures. This was the first time in Japan that an LBO fund has
taken over a bankrupt company that had previously been publicly listed, formulated
a revitalization plan that was formally approved, leading to the end of bankruptcy
proceedings under the Civil Rehabilitation Law, in only one year.
