Denver International Airport Validating BSI2000 Homeland Security System

Verus 2000(TM) Green Card Authentication System Tested
DENVER, June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BSI2000, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BSIO), a leading developer of integrated optical card- based systems and technology, announced today that the Operations Division/Airport Security at Denver International Airport (DIA) is successfully using the new Verus 2000(TM) Green Card authentication system during on-site field trials.

BSI2000 has developed the system to inexpensively and reliably solve the problem of fake and counterfeit Green Cards used as primary identification by employees at secure facilities. Security sources indicate that such fraudulent Green Cards are in use across the nation and represent a significant security hole for the defenses of this country.

BSI2000 President and CEO Jack Harper said, "We have designed Verus 2000 to be used by government and private employers that accept Green Cards as primary photo IDs. Verus 2000 will help strengthen national security by eliminating and capturing many invalid/fraudulent Green Cards that are currently being used to gain employment. We were asked to develop this new product and we see significant interest from both here and abroad. I have high expectations for it in the market -- especially initially from thousands of airports and government buildings in this country with federalized security."

Harper said, "The Verus 2000 system has been in place at the DIA security office and feedback is very enthusiastic. It is operating perfectly after authenticating hundreds of Green Cards with no problems whatsoever. This could become a strategic product for our company."

On June 4, BSI2000 filed a multi-claim patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect the proprietary methods and technology used by the Verus 2000 system to securely detect and identify counterfeit Green Cards.

BSI2000 Seeks Enhanced Federal Security Certification for US-VISIT

IBM Canada Ltd/DOMUS IT to Lead Certification Project for CRYPTO 2000(TM)

      Optical Card Security System
DENVER, June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BSI2000, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BSIO), a leading developer of integrated optical card- based systems and technology, announced today that it has engaged IBM Canada Limited/DOMUS IT Security Laboratory Division to lead the effort to have its CRYPTO 2000(TM) optical card security system certified to the new enhanced U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) FIPS 140-2 (1, 2, 3 and physical 4) levels.

FIPS 140-2 is an internationally recognized level of federal certification that delivers a high level of trust in certified systems. DOMUS is an accredited Cryptographic Modules Testing Laboratory that will perform the extensive test protocols that cover eleven areas related to the design and implementation of crypto modules.

BSI2000 President and CEO Jack Harper said, "I believe we are the only company able to provide optical card systems with this high level of NIST certification against attack and reverse engineering. FIPS certification is required for the massive new US-VISIT (U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology) contract awarded in early June. We are pushing hard to get our technology into that program to help secure the borders of our country."

BSI2000 has a number of patent applications in place designed to protect the CRYPTO 2000 technology.

The company announced Monday that it has engaged Excell Consulting International, Inc. to help insert BSI2000`s highly secure dual-technology optical/smart card systems into the US-VISIT homeland security program.

The $10 billion US-VISIT program creates a new biometrics-based electronic entry/exit system that will accurately track persons entering and exiting the United States as well as those who have overstayed their non-immigrant visas. It is planned for use in U.S. air and seaports.
