Hi Leute,

ich halte an meiner Prognose fest:
Infomatec wird groß in IPC einsteigen und so eine der bedeutendsten Internet-Firmen
in Asien übernehmen. Heute wurde gemeldet, daß Infomatecs Sanierungsplan (ich habe darüber
in einem anderen Thread berichtet Thread: Infomatecs Sanierungsplan für IPC !!!!) zu 95% von den Gläübigern gebilligt wurde!

Damit rückt auch die kürzlich bekanntgegebene Übernahme von brokerserver.com durch IPC
in ein neues Licht. Thread: Infomatec: Hammer-News!! IPC-Übernahme in Amerika!!!!!

IPC CORPORATION LTD

SUPPLEMENTAL SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT OVERWHELMINGLY APPROVED BY UNSECURED
CREDITORS


The Board of Directors of IPC Corporation Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the supplemental scheme of
arrangement (the "Supplemental Scheme") proposed by the Company obtained overwhelming approval at the meeting of the
unsecured creditors of the Company held this morning. In excess of 95% of the unsecured creditors voted for the
Supplemental Scheme. The Supplemental Scheme is intended to give effect to a debt restructuring plan presented by
Infomatec AG to the Company and the Steering Committee of the Company`s creditors for the final and comprehensive
restructuring of the indebtedness of the Company, which was previously announced on 13 January 2000.

The Supplemental Scheme will take effect (the "Effective Date") and become binding on all the Creditors upon sanction of the
Supplemental Scheme by the Court hereafter and the date of lodgment of the order of court with the Registrar of the
Companies and Businesses, or such earlier date as the Court may otherwise determine. An application will be made to the
Court for the sanction of the Supplemental Scheme in due course after all the necessary preparatory steps have been taken,
including obtaining the approvals of the shareholders of the Company for the issue of new ordinary shares for the purpose of
implementation of the Debt Restructuring Plan.

The salient features of the Debt Restructuring Plan proposed to be implemented under the Supplemental Scheme are as stated
in the last announcement dated 13 January 2000.

A Circular to the shareholders of the Company will be despatched shortly for the purpose of seeking all necessary approvals
including the issue of the new ordinary shares for the implementation of the Debt Restructuring Plan.

The Directors will make further disclosure of any significant developments of the Supplemental Scheme in due course.
