The most obvious reason of all is that IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT ECU.
Pic, VHF, and many others post factual information here, researched and quoted from respectable sources, credible up-to-date data....and all Goldie can whimper about is "bafflegarb"? Pathetic and insuting to say the least.
How stupid can people be to believe that crap?
We site over and over again, what the "Goldies" represent, dishonest mouthpieces for the predators. The Red Flags appear on an hourly basis, by the same posters. They just keep on posting, ignoring the truth as they are commended to do. Erosion trumps all and the edict is to keep lying until the rabble believes it.
These parasites are merely symbolic of the incestuous, pervasive corruption that is now plaguing honest investors and citizens everywhere. This morning we awake to the news that giant food suppliers such as Sara Lee are/have been fraudulently overcharging their own country's military for years. That, in my mind, is almost treasonous, undermining the taxpayer and the patriotic values of ordinary cirtizen who are now drowning in massive debt. That is just one example for today.
In the city I live in we have been ripped off by a labour sponsored investment fund and a local investment house, that now appears to have laundered investor's money with the blind eye and cooperation of both the Provincial Gov. and the mayor of the city. Disclousre is ongoing with the mayor and a very wealthy commecial developer having gained handsomly from the scheme. As for the investment house, which I am a client of, I have sent repeated requests to two of their CEOs inquiring if they have any exposure to the over-the-counter cash derivatives markets and have been met with silence. How susceptible are they to the ongoing derivatievs crisis and the pimple ABCP markets? How vulnerable are their thousands of clients?
We are bobbing around in a sea of financial and moral sewage where the rules no longer seem to apply and the risk to honest people everywhere is becoming serious. As an individual I feel helpless and I find that many now are most complacent and just ignore all the alarm bells as if they are wearing earplugs. The macroeconomic corruption and complexity is way beyond the undersanding or belief of most. Just try to figure out the ABCP mess and place value in that market. Can't be done. Look at the major bank reports and find that there, hidden in the details, is massive exposure to "assets" (should read deficits)....$41 bllion alone in one of Canada's largest banks. Look at all the redemptions that are being denied. Look at a zillion factors in business, banking, all levels of government, brokers, hedge funds etc.
So, when it comes to the creeps down at our level, right here on the BBs, spinning their propaganda for all they are worth, the capital required to fund them is miniscule....hence their presence everywhere. It is mere chump change for the hedge funds behind it all, who are encouraged by the highest mandarins of political and corporate corruption. The truth must never surface for it will destroy them all. Lie, spin and twist. Change the rules, ignore the regulations. Slap the largest perpetrators on the wrists and throw some schluck into the slammer to take the heat off.
All any sane person has to do is look at the horrendous news out in the US on the housing market today, inflation (highly understated) and so much else and see the futures pumped up and the price of gold tromped on in the same old familiar pattern week in and week out. How much farther can they go and when wll it end?
What can one person do? Well, he/she will go nuts trying to change thngs as that will happen with a "too-big" crisis just around the corner that will bring the whole house of cards down. Investing in the world's most enduring and integral currency, no one elses' debt or paper promises, gold, in my most humble opinion, is the only hope for financial security.
I admit openly that it is futile bantering with the "Goldenskies" and hundreds of his/her of team members and paid clones. But I say sincerely to all that read this, my only motive is to try to be honest and that hopefully, someone out there will benefit from my tirades by doing some diligent inquiring from reputable sources and carefully planning according to their risk tolerance.
It is about much, much more than ECU. Your future could depend upon it.
As for ECU, when I see the price it is at today all I can do is shake my head, bunker down and know that the perception that is being projected is false and illusory. All you really have to do is look at the FACTS, read the hundred plus NRs from the company, look at its history, its management, its property, its future, its annual reports, its potential, the price and profitablity of its products going forward, the supply demand curve, all the fundamentals and technicals....and one will conclude the obvious...that it s a steal here.
Good luck everyone.
