Erst seit heute in Deutschland gelistet. Sehr gute Projekte
in fortgeschrittenem Stadium. Ende April hat sich Sprotts
Moly Fund beteiligt und zusätzlich noch DER Resource Venture
      Capital Geber Pinetree beteiligt.

      Dow 14 000 - Get Rich - Do Nothing

      July 18/07

      Stay with THE Plan

The AMP Porfolio is weighted in the resources the world wants - and now is having to pay dearly to consume and (needs to replace constantly).
Just watch and hang on. Thursday the AMP Portfoilo was up 1 % ( on a day the TSE advanced only one third as much ) on the strength in oil, base metals and the amazing Thompson Creek ( TCM)

      News you can use

      A. China Growth Accelerates

The headline confirms our thesis - a growing global economy supports the commodity price cycle that refuses to turn down because the U.S. economy is slowing. China is the worlds third largest economy having passed Germany. Add India and the other emerging markets and you don't have to be a nuclear scientist to know where to place your portfolio.

Here is the news release - unbiased reporting that confirms what AMP readers know-

July 19 (Bloomberg) -- China's economy grew at the fastest pace in 12 years in the second quarter and inflation surged, prompting speculation the government will raise interest rates and push the currency higher to cool growth.
Gross domestic product expanded 11.9 percent from a year earlier, the statistics bureau said in Beijing today, exceeding all estimates of 23 economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Inflation climbed to 4.4 percent in June, the fastest since September 2004, breaching the central bank's 3 percent target for a fourth month.
Growth was powered by investment in factories and real estate that the government has been unable to cool with two rate increases this year and restrictions on bank lending. Allowing the Yuan to strengthen may also help quell tensions with the U.S. and Europe, which say China's record exports reflect the unfair advantage of an artificially low currency.

China is now consuming copper, zinc , molybdenum and oil We don't have to repeat what the commodity pricing is showing:
go to bloomberg.com/energy for oil go to kitco.com for metals

      stay with Breakwater Resources (BWR)
      HudBay (HBM)
      Teck Cominco (TEK.b)
      CVRD (RIO)
The daily increase in BWR and HBM appear to confirm takeover premiums may supplement the cash flow "cows " these stocks have become, as copper heads even higher and is now seen in financial headlines. The mines are producing precious metals as well but copper and zinc are the main drivers.

      B. $100 OIL

B.1 I have quoted Jeff Rubin as the most accurate prophets on oil pricing and the advance of the Canadian dollar. Rubin is the CIBC World Markets chief Strategist Here is his latest on oil - quoted in the Globe and Mail July 19th:

      His charts suggest:
1 oil should set a new high of $80 a barrel this year on tighter markets
      2. climbing to an average of $90 in 2008
      3. and then crossing the unthinkable barrier ( $100 ) towards the end of next year.

Rubin predicts that runaway oil prices are going to trigger the huge kinds of merger and aquisition deals we've already seen in the base metals sector.
      AMP Portfolio contains two oils that are on every M&A list;
      Talisman and
      Suncor
Both have the large scale volumes important to the international players like Chevron and Conoco.
We have cited the other oilsands players as targets - see the archive section for the watchlist.
The AMP has an important position in North Sea production and exploration companies but Oilexco and Antrim don't have the production levels the international companies will seek out.

B.2. Barclays Capital Raises 2008 Brent Oil Price Forecast by 11%

July 19 (Bloomberg) -- Barclays Capital raised its 2008 price forecasts for Brent crude oil by 11 percent, citing rising demand and a lack of growth in non-OPEC production. Brent will average $73.60 a barrel next year, up $7.40 from the previous forecast, the London-based investment bank said in a report yesterday. West Texas Intermediate crude, the U.S. benchmark grade, will average $73.90, a $6.60-a-barrel increase. Brent prices have gained 26 percent this year and neared a record last week after maintenance and a pipeline closure reduced North Sea supplies. Prices also rose as the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which pumps 40 percent of the world's supply, cut output last year to quell rising stockpiles.
``If non-OPEC supply was going to mount any kind of a surge then one might have thought the signs of the renaissance would be evident by now,'' analysts Paul Horsnell and Kevin Norrish said in their report. Concern is growing ``that the weakness in non- OPEC supply is a structural rather than a transitory phenomenon.''

      NOTE Barclay's Predicts Declining Production

The biggest difference is Barclay's forecast for a 40,000 barrels a day decline in non-OPEC output to 49.5 million barrels because of higher decline rates in mature producing areas. The other agencies are all picking increases, with production rising close to or exceeding 51 million barrels a day.
Norway, the U.K. and Mexico will show the biggest declines, Barclays said. Brazil, Azerbaijan and Russia will show the biggest increases, the report said.

      RBC Dominion Securities:
...takes an overweight view of the U.S. energy sector, calling it "one of the most promising long-tern themes buoyed by rapid industrialization of emerging economies ".

C.1. Thompson Creek (TCM) Molybdenum producer - referred to by Sprott fund manager Hodson as a value play when compared to the China moly IPO trading at three times the valuation.
TCM has risen about 25 % this month. - Good Golly Miss Moly Much of that starts with Hodson - and ends with the Bay Street game of looking for the next takeover target.
Volume is impressive and continues to ramp up the price day after day. Stay tuned.

      C.2. Western Troy (WRY)
A Thompson Creek wannabe - it has the backing of Sprott and Pinetree Capital. Drill results are expected within weeks and as a result the stock is coming to life.

      D. Scorpio Silver ( SPM)
The Company has been very quiet until recently.
Michael Price a value investor terms it the cheapest silver play available.
The Comapny is building its mine but that is a slow process and the news releases are trying to keep up investor interest. Drill result releases confirm the ore body.
      Be patient.
In the meantime, the price of gold has risen and silver has moved up in tandem - making the mine more profitable - when operational.

Western Troy Announces Partial Assay Results From Drilling at MacLeod Lake
Friday August 17, 9:11 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 17, 2007) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY - News; "Western Troy") announced that it has received assay results on eight holes drilled at its MacLeod Lake molybdenum copper project in Northern Quebec. These eight holes totaled 940 meters of the planned 6000 plus meters of the summer drilling program. The following table shows the significant intercepts (depths and widths are in meters):

      Hole # From To Width Cu% Mo%
      ------ ------ ------ ------ ----- -----

      166 No Significant Results
      167 71.04 96.26 25.22 0.482 0.061

Holes 160 and 161 were drilled along the southeastern fringe of the Main Zone. Holes 162 through 166 were drilled along the northern fringe of the Main Zone. Hole 167 was drilled along the southwestern fringe of the Main Zone. In July, Western Troy released the results of assays from holes 138 through 144. Assays for holes 145 through 159 are in process. In addition to the drilling of a few targets outside the Main and South Zones, the primary purpose of the current drilling program is to prepare the MacLeod Lake Project for the next phase of development leading towards a production decision.

Western Troy's President, Rex Loesby, commented, "We are very happy with the progress of the drilling program. Not only have the results been better than expected, the productivity of the drilling contractor has been higher than expected - we are getting more bang for the buck. As indicated by the above results, we have found the limits of the Main Zone in some areas, but given the high grade intercepts over substantial widths in a few areas, we have yet to see the limits in those areas. Based on the results of the program to date, we expect to see increases in the resources of the Main and South Zones. The original plan was to drill 6,000 meters, but we expect to get 7,000 meters completed before the end of the program. Upon completion of this program, we should have the data needed to prepare a scoping study and possibly a preliminary feasibility study."

Commenting on recent market action in Western Troy's stock, Loesby said, "Obviously overall market sentiment has been negative the past few weeks and especially yesterday. I just want to emphasize that there are no fundamental changes within the company that might account for the recent decline of the stock price. We have more than sufficient cash to fund our planned exploration and development programs for well into 2009."

Western Troy Announces Claim Staking on Molybdenum Prospect in Northern Quebec
Tuesday August 21, 9:58 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2007) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY - News; "Western Troy") announced that it has map staked 150 claims in the Lac Viau area of the Caniapiscau Region of Quebec which is approximately 300 kilometers Northeast of Chibougamau. The property comprises about 85 sq. km. of prospective ground and has been named the "Holmstead" prospect by Western Troy.

The claims were staked in an area where anomalous values in molybdenum, zinc, rare earths and niobium were detected in the lake sediments by a Quebec Government lake sediment survey conducted in 2006 (see below). Six anomalous values in molybdenum ranged from 23 to 87 parts per million, where background values are approximately 3.5 parts per million or less. The anomalous values are concentrated in the vicinity of a contact between intrusive and gneissic rocks which appears to be geologically similar to Western Troy's MacLeod Lake Property that hosts a drill-defined molybdenum/copper resource.

Exploration crews are presently on site and are conducting a program of soil sampling and prospecting. The purpose of the survey is to try to locate the mineralized source of the anomalous lake sediments in the area. Results of this exploration program are expected in September.

The Quebec Government lake sediment survey was conducted to promote exploration in the area and outline areas of high potential for hosting mineral deposits (Gold in lake sediments in the Caniapiscau area, Cote-Nord Region by Marc Beaumier, 2006). The author of the report considered anomalous values as anything above the 85th percentile. In the case of molybdenum, the 85th percentile was 4 ppm so anything above this value was considered anomalous. The anomalous values are not conclusive evidence of the likelihood of the occurrence of a mineral deposit. The claims were map staked and registered on May 25, 2007 in the name of Western Troy (100% owner) at a cost of $17,500 and are valid for a period of 2 years from the staking date. Assessment work will be required to keep the claims valid after the two year period.

Western Troy Announces Share Repurchase Program
Monday August 27, 11:01 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 27, 2007) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY - News; "Western Troy") announced today its intention to effect a normal course issuer bid through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange, subject to receipt of regulatory approval. Upon receiving regulatory approval, Western Troy may, during the 12 month period commencing September 4, 2007 and ending September 3, 2008, purchase on the TSX Venture Exchange up to 977,548 common shares in total, representing approximately 5% of the common shares currently issued and outstanding. The price which Western Troy will pay for any such shares will be the market price at the time of acquisition. The actual number of common shares which may be purchased and the timing of any such purchases will be determined by Western Troy. Western Troy has retained W.D. Latimer Co. Limited to effect purchases on its behalf pursuant to the bid.

Western Troy's President, Rex Loesby, commented, "There has been no fundamental change within Western Troy that might account for the recent decline in our share price. We have more than enough cash to cover our 2007 and 2008 planned expenditures and, along with developing our projects on accelerated schedules, we see this repurchase program as beneficial for our shareholders."

Western Troy Announces New Resource Estimate for MacLeod Lake and Withdrawal From Panama Gold Prospect
Thursday November 22, 9:22 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 22, 2007) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY - News; "Western Troy") announced that it has received the results of a new resource estimate for its MacLeod Lake molybdenum copper project in Northern Quebec. The new resource estimate includes the assays from the summer of 2007 drilling program. The table below shows the updated resource estimate for the Main and South Zones.

Main Zone Main Zone South Zone Contained
      Indicated Inferred Indicated Pounds/Oz.
      --------- --------- ---------- ------------
      Tonnes (mm) 24.4 3.8 1.47

      Silver 4.0 g/t 3.0 g/t 19 g/t 4.4 Million

Western Troy now has sufficient data to proceed with a meaningful Preliminary Assessment (Scoping Study) of a proposed mining operation at MacLeod Lake. Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle, Inc., a well known and respected mining consulting firm in Toronto, has been commissioned to prepare the Scoping Study. The results are scheduled for release in early March of 2008. An updated 43-101 report will be prepared within 45 days of this release.

      Macleod Lake Quality Control

Western Troy has a quality control program in place to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of drill core. Samples of drill core are sent to the ALS Chemex preparation laboratory in Val d'Or, Quebec for sample prep and analysis for gold following which a pulp sample is sent to the ALS Chemex North Vancouver lab for ore grade analysis for silver, copper and molybdenum. ALS Chemex is an ISO 9001: 2000 registered laboratory with the North Vancouver lab accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to ISO 17025 levels. Company quality control procedures include the analysis of its own blanks, and duplicates, introduced among the batches of samples, in addition to those used by the laboratory for its routine testing. Samples are crushed to greater than 70% passing 10 mesh, and pulverized to greater than 85% passing 200 mesh. A fraction of the pulps is analyzed for gold by fire assay and AAS. Another fraction of the pulps is digested in aqua regia acid and ore grade silver, copper and molybdenum values are determined by AAS.

The geologic evaluations, resource estimates, and opinions presented in this release regarding the MacLeod Lake Project are those of Stewart Winter of Winterbourne Explorations Ltd., Sudbury, Ontario. Mr. Winter is an independent "qualified person" within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Winter supervised the preparation of the data presented here and has reviewed and approved the content of this press release.

      Panama

Western Troy management has decided to withdraw from participation in the exploration of the Viento Frio prospect in Panama. Western Troy's President, Rex Loesby, commented, "Our exploration efforts in Quebec are rewarded with tax rebates from the Province equal to approximately 48 percent of our spending. So our exploration dollars are greatly extended in Quebec. With the addition of our Holmstead Project announced in August of this year, we needed to let one of our early stage exploration projects go. Because we do not receive rebates on Viento Frio exploration spending, we decided to withdraw from the Panama prospect."

Western Troy meldet positive Ergebnisse der vorläufigen Evaluierung (Rahmenuntersuchung) von MacLeod Lake

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(10.

      3. Mineralressourcen werden mit langfristigen Durchschnittspreisen von US$ 2,25 pro Pfund Kupfer, US$ 25 pro Pfund Molybdän und einem US$/CDN$-Wechselkurs von US$ 1,00 = CDN$ 1,11 geschätzt.

Jahr) umfassen.
