www.globexmining.com/images/content/114228543834723.pdf

Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Kanada. GLOBEX MINING ENTERPRISES INC.
(Pressmitteilung der Firma First Metals vom 28. April 2008).

- 3.3 Mio CAD Monthly Cash Flow
- 2.3 Mio CAD Monthly Ernings (Metall-Royalty schon abgezogen)

Vielen Dank

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 34.041.032 von URANI am 06.05.08 20:45:11Auf der Homepage von First Metals kannst Du den Jennings-Report aufrufen
www.firstmetalsinc.com/document/FMAJenningsAnalystRep.pdf

Gruss William

Gruss William

TSX: FMA
May 12, 2008 12:28 ETFirst Metals Reports Profitable First Quarter on One (1) Month's Commercial Production
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 12, 2008) - First Metals Inc. (TSX:FMA) is pleased to report its First Quarter Results for the period ended March 31, 2008.
During the Quarter, the Company achieved $6,875,544 in revenues compared to $14,491 in the same period in 2007. During the period under review, the Company generated $1,774,832 in net income, equal to $0.05 per share. During the first quarter of 2007, the Company reported a net loss of ($591,554), equal to ($0.02) per share.
As discussed in greater detail in the Management's Discussion and Analysis, which has been released simultaneously with the Financial Statements, the achievement of commercial production on March 1st, 2008 means that the quarter's results include one month of revenues and related costs of production, (the previous two months of net revenues being set off against deferred development costs) but three months of overhead expenses. On a stand alone basis, the month of March showed a net profit of $2.1 Million.
Production for the month of March averaged 1,354 tonnes per day (tpd), exceeding for the first time 60% of the average design capacity of 1,500 tpd. As further modifications and improvements to the mill are completed, we look forward to design capacity being achieved. Recoveries being achieved at the mill continue to improve and are now at 92.6%.
C.E.O. Richard Williams commented that "copper prices are now in the vicinity of U.S.$ 4.00 per pound and a significant number of forecasters are suggesting that further price increase may be seen over the balance of the year. It is gratifying to see that our deliveries are increasing at such a favourable time. Should copper prices sustain the current level, we should see FMA's profits increase significantly with increased production."
First Metals Inc. is a copper producer and is currently advancing its second project, The Magusi copper, zinc, gold and silver deposit, located 1.2 kilometres away from its Fabie Bay Mine. The Company has approximately 42.7 million shares issued and outstanding.

First Metals (TSX:FMA)
April 28, First Metals declared commercial production at its first producing property, the Fabie Bay Mine. By selling copper, silver and gold from the mine, the 2008 March quarter recorded profitability for the first time, reporting $6.9M net revenue and $1.8M earnings ($0.05 per share). It is a strong positive that the company managed to bring the mine into profitable operation within a short period of time as First Metal was incorporated in February 2006. The company now strives to accelerate development at another flagship project, the Magusi River mine, where is rich in zinc and copper. According to initial estimates, 197 million pounds of zinc, 71 million pounds of copper, 80,000 ounces of gold and 2.2 million ounces of silver are in place. The company is carrying out additional aggressive drill program this year to further define the structure of the property while giving updated resource estimates which is expected by July 2008. While we admit there is operating risk pertaining to the startup of its Fabie Bay Mine, and economic assessment for the Magusi River mine is pending, we are issuing a speculative buy opinion on its shares given current progress made in developing the projects.

www.marketwire.com/mw/release.do?id=861190&k=first%20metals

First Metals drills 3.3 m of 2.49% Cu at Fabie
2008-08-27 10:44 ET - News Release
Mr. Richard Williams reports
FIRST METALS UPDATES FABIE MINE EXPLORATION AND OPERATIONS
First Metals Inc. is providing the following update on its exploration and operations at the Fabie mine, near Rouyn-Noranda, Que.
Underground diamond drilling of the main zone below the 155-metre level (the lowest level of the ramp) and the 205-metre elevation has been successful in delineating a new in situ geological resource of 33,212 tonnes grading 2.67 per cent Cu (copper) and 1.89 grams per tonne Ag (silver). Engineering studies are in process to access this ore through an extension of the ramp and upgrade it to the reserve category. The deposit, although pinching, remains open to depth.
The company also reports the completion of two diamond drill holes collared from surface, designed to explore the Fabie deposit at depth. Hole FMI-08-13 intersected massive sulphides 140 metres below the 155-metre level (295 metres below surface). Assays for this intersection returned results of 2.49 per cent Cu (copper) over 3.33 metres (true width). Hole FMI-08-14, located midway between the first hole and the 155-metre level (205 metres below surface) intersected a 6.0-metre (true width) chloritized section with 5 to 15 per cent sulphide stringers. Results for the second hole are pending. In-hole geophysics have been recommended as a follow-up.
Michel Plasse, Geo, and chief geologist for the Fabie and Magusi projects, is the qualified person, pursuant to NI Policy 43-101, who has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.
Management is pleased to also report that in August, for the first time since operations at the Fabie mine began, all eight ball mills were operational for a sustained period (10 days), which enabled throughput to be increased and sustained nearer to the average design capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day. A continuation of this reduction in downtime for unscheduled maintenance and repairs would have a positive material impact on the financial performance of the operation.

FIRST METALS UPDATES FABIE MINE EXPLORATION AND OPERATIONS
First Metals Inc. is providing the following update on its exploration and operations at the Fabie mine, near Rouyn-Noranda, Que.

FIRST METALS ANNOUNCES WIND DOWN OF FABIE MINE PRODUCTION
In light of the continuing decreases in copper prices, First Metals Inc. is suspending production over the next eight weeks at the Fabie mine, near Rouyn-Noranda, Que.
Mucking and trucking of existing broken ore will continue until the end of January, following which operations at the mine will be suspended. Milling is expected to continue for a further week. Staff and miner reductions are being made accordingly.
Company president, Richard Williams, commented that: "At the current copper prices, the Fabie mine is simply not sustainable. We very much regret having to make this decision just before the Christmas holidays, and for the staff that is leaving, we would again like to thank them for their support and understanding."
