      Hier noch ein paar Details:
      +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      JAKARTA, March 17 (Reuters) - Shareholders of Indonesia's PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk BNBR.JK have approved a plan to issue 40.1 trillion rupiah ($4.32 billion) in new shares, an official said on Monday, in the biggest ever rights issue in the country.

      The diversified firm plans to use the money to acquire a 35 percent stake in PT Bumi Resources Tbk BUMI.JK, Indonesia's largest coal producer, a 40 percent stake in oil and gas explorer PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk ENRG.JK, and a 40 percent stake in property developer PT Bakrieland Development Tbk ELTY.JK.

      The last biggest right issue in Indonesia was the $3.6 billion raised by PT Bank Danamon Tbk BDMN.JK in early 1999, according to Thomson Financial data.

      Barkrie & Brothers, which had previously put the cost of buying the stakes in the three affiliates at 51.3 trillion rupiah, said it would finance the rest of the deal through loans.

      "Financing resources to cover a shortfall from the transaction will be sourced from third-party loans which are being negotiated," Yuanita Rohali, Bakrie's finance director, told reporters, adding the right issue should be completed by April 22.

      The firm would pay 5,432 rupiah per share for each of Bumi's shares, 1,249 rupiah for every Energi share and 556 rupiah for each Bakrieland share, Rohali said.

      Shares in Bakrie & Brothers, controlled by the family of Aburizal Bakrie, Indonesia's chief social welfare minister, were down 3.7 percent at 520 rupiah by 0902 GMT on Monday.

      The Indonesia Stock Exchange index .JKSE was down around 3 percent.

      The company was in the process of setting up a new unit to focus on infrastructure projects, Rohali said.
      The projects include a 25-km (15.53 miles) toll road project in Java worth 3 trillion rupiah and a power plant in central Java worth $1.4 billion.

      She did not specify when the unit would be launched. ($1=9,280 Rupiah) (Reporting by Fitri Wulandari editing by Ed Davies & Louise Heavens)
