• ~8,100m diamond drill programme scheduled to commence in January 2019 at the East Cadillac Gold Project – Quebec, Canada.
• The program will focus on two large-scale, untested targets located on 100% Chalice owned tenure:
o Legrand Target: a large ~3.4km x 1.3km gold-plus-pathfinder geochemical anomaly, with similarities to the >16Moz Canadian Malartic gold mine, located ~70km to the west; and
o Anderson Target: a large ~2.3km x 0.5km gold-plus-pathfinder anomaly located on a sub- parallel fault north of the Larder Lake Cadillac Fault.
• The two Targets represent the largest and most coherent geochemical anomalies found to date on the Project.
Commenting on the upcoming drilling, Chalice Managing Director, Alex Dorsch, said: “We are eagerly anticipating the start of this significant new drilling program, which is designed to test some of the largest and most prospective targets we have defined to date at East Cadillac.”
“The similarities of these new targets to some of the largest gold mines and deposits along strike has created significant interest in the region and we are looking forward to seeing what the drilling can deliver. Together with our ongoing drill program at the Pyramid Hill Gold Project in Victoria, the next few months are shaping up as an exciting period for the Company.”

reports additional drill hole intersections grading 14.6 g/t Au over 3.0 m including 36.8 g/t Au over 1.0 m, 450 m below the Chimo Mine (FIGURE). These higher-grade sections are included within a section grading 5.8 g/t Au over 10.0 m included within an interval of 44.0 m grading 2.2 g/t Au. The Chimo Mine project is situated 45 Km east of Val-d’Or within the prolific Val-d’Or Mining Camp. Results continue to confirm the robustness of the gold system below the former mine.

Das interessante ist hier, das Agnico Eagle bereits 17 Prozent an Cartier Res. hält. Laut einem Artikel muss nach Kanad. Gesetz ein Übernahmeangebot ab 20 Prozent erfolgen.

„Schlägt Agnico 2019 zu? Dabei hatte Cloutier bisher keine Probleme, frische Mittel einzusammeln. Denn es gibt mit Agnico Eagle bereits einen Goldproduzenten, der seine Ansprüche auf Chimo angemeldet hat. Das Unternehmen aus Toronto hält 17 Prozent an Cartier und hat die letzten Kapitalrunden mitgemacht.“

Somit wäre Cartier mal einen Blick wert. Aber was mich als Chalice Aktionär mehr interessiert ist die hohe Beteiligung von Agnico an Cartier. Da ja Cartier mitten im riesigen Chalice Gold Gebiet liegt, könnte das hier auch noch für uns Aktionäre interessant werden, wenn Agnico mehr will...
