"2015 will be a very productive year for MLM"
desweiteren der Quarterly vom 31.10:
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20141031/pdf/42tctmb406vq9j.pdf

Metrocoal and Cape Alumina shelve merger in Queensland
MetroCoal Limited (ASX: MTE) and Cape Alumina (ASX: CBX) have agreed not to proceed with the proposed merger following an announcement by the Queensland Government on 20th November which would have a material impact on the viability of Cape Alumina's flagship Pisolite Hills bauxite project.
On 25th September 2013, MetroCoal and Cape revealed a Merger Implementation Agreement (MIA) to be approved by Cape shareholders shareholders on 9th December.
Development by Cape of the Pisolite Hills Project was put on hold in October 2010 after the former Queensland Government imposed 500 metre buffer zones around waterways in the vicinity, effectively reducing available the bauxite resources.
It was expected the current Queensland Government would lift the wild rivers declaration to allow Cape to resume work on the Pisolite Hills project.
However, a decision has been made to declare the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve and Wenlock River on Cape York Peninsula a “Strategic Environmental Area”, thus prohibiting any mining on the site.
MetroCoal will now re-focus its efforts to seeking alternative opportunities.
