Salve Jetsia !
Prosper and gamble,
Brad

Hallo zusammen, hier der neueste Shareholders Letter bzw. President´s Post von Lou Ross

PRESIDENT`S POST
April 20, 2000
The volatility of the stock market these days seems to have everyone`s attention. Like all of the technology stocks, we took a hit, but seem to be recovering. Some of the original private placement shareholders have filed to have their 144 legends removed, facilitating the exercising of their warrants. It is important for the shareholders to understand these are not insiders, but individual shareholders that bet with their wallets two years ago. The funds from the purchase of the warrants will provide additional working capital for National Scientific to further promote its products and to aid in research and development.
The time is right for National Scientific to launch to the technology sector its TunnelMOSMemory and the Monolithic Inductor. We will be informing our shareholders of where they will be able to find these advertisements or articles in the trade magazines. With the expected arrival of our patent number, the world will be able to see how we have achieved this breakthrough technology. Let me give you a description of our achievement on the TunnelMOSMemory.
The TunnelMOSMemory SRAM is a totally new memory cell. This SRAM memory cell outperforms the standard CMOS SRAM cell with regard to speed, power consumption and chip area. In this technology, the slow and large PMOS transistors in the CMOS SRAM cell are replaced by smaller and faster NMOS transistors and tunnel diode combination. The *key* advantage of this invention is that it is completely compatible with existing submicron CMOS technology and benefit from the recent progress achieved in the fabrication of tunnel diodes. Detailed data obtained from spice simulation based on submicron models of standard foundries supports the performance improvements in both power and speed over the CMOS technology. A layout of the TunnelMOSMemory SRAM has been made that shows a significant reduction in chip area. The overall cost of TunnelMOSMemory technology is expected to be lower than the CMOS SRAM due to reduction in chip area.
It is because of the above breakthrough technology in the memory arena, we are attracting significant excitement and interest. We are at a very important stage in the development of our business plan and need to weigh all of our options before a final decision is inked. You can be assured that any decision made will always be in the best interest of our shareholders.
As a side note, the TunnelMOSMemory copyright has been approved and we look forward to the technical community using it as the standard in the industry.
The Monolithic Inductor is still in Taiwan at TSMC and we expect to receive it in mid-May. Having this functional prototype available to demonstrate its efficiency without using a coil is something we are very proud to display to the electronic industry.
Many of you are already aware of the facelift we are giving our website. We are going to try to put our products into layman`s terms and at the same time, provide the in-depth detail that the more technical minds value. This process is going to take approximately five weeks to complete, so your patience would be greatly appreciated. John Sinskie, our web developer, will be working directly with PR Newswire to provide an image to the world that compliments our outstanding products. We will also have additional features we believe the shareholders will find user-friendly and informative.
In my last President`s Post, we discussed our move to the NASDAQ. We are still getting many inquiries as to how soon this will happen. I need to reiterate this point. It is solely dependent on the events surrounding contracts. We will not change our position in this matter as we strongly feel this is the right direction for the benefit of our shareholders.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding work and accomplishments of the staff here at National Scientific, including all those behind the scenes workers at Arizona State University and in the Silicon Valley. It takes a lot of manpower to launch a company of this magnitude and I feel I am surrounding myself with the key people needed to accomplish this endeavor.
With the long weekend upon us, I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation for your support and wish you all a nice holiday.

Danke,
Brad

Hi Brad,

The bottom is only the limit

PRESIDENT`S POST
May 19, 2000
National Scientific is receiving a flood of calls and e-mails from our shareholders and others. The market overall is experiencing tremendous fluctuations, and we are as susceptible as the other high tech stocks. Bulletin board stocks do not enjoy a good reputation which can fuel some concern in this market climate. Relative to NSC, concern is not warranted, but understandable. National Scientific is fully qualified to move to the small caps at this time and has adequate working capital to support our business plans and stay the course, although we may bypass this exchange altogether and proceed to regular NASDAQ.
Most of our focus currently is targeted on the TunnelMOSMemory and working on the processes to shorten the time needed to take the product to market. The patent Notice of Allowance was received in March. We expect to receive the formal patent around mid-June at which time NSC will be free to openly market our technology. We are in discussions with several interested companies and have joint non-disclosure agreements concerning licensing, royalties, and/or joint ventures.
Some of these companies are also interested in our Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT), US Patent No. 5,912,481, and our standing Wave Amplifier, US Patent No. 6,008,694. National Scientific has a letter of intent with Siagri to provide the Amplifier to drive a microwave generator. We will be informing you shortly of its progress. Regarding the Monolithic Inductor, US Patent No. 6,013,939, we have been informed by TSMC (Taiwan) the prototype is in wafer fab and should be completed this month. Companies are waiting and anxious to see/test this breakthrough product.
The major players that we are adding to our National Scientific team have been chosen, although limitations at this time stop us from divulging this information. The identities of these individuals will remain confidential until they give appropriate notice to the companies where they are currently employed. We are very confident that our shareholders will be just as pleased with the caliber of these other individuals as they were with the appointment of Mr. James Upchurch to our Board of Directors.
Events in the last month have kept all of us working overtime on creating a company that will not only meet, but exceed our shareholders expectations. It continues to be a challenge informing investors of the daily progress, when so many of our daily activities are events that we are unable to share with you at this time. The list of National Scientific shareholders now exceeds 1700 people. It is not possible for us to satisfy all of the shareholders, so I would ask that the communication to the office be limited and we will do our best to keep you informed. Wendy and Karen will be creating a "Corporate Clipboard" on the new website, hopefully to keep shareholders abreast of the progress in an informal manner.
Building a company of this magnitude requires the individuals that work at National Scientific to wear many different hats and their job activities go well beyond the scope of their job descriptions. It is a team effort at this time that is allowing us to achieve the progress that we have to date. Please be assured that just because my time does not allow me to write a President`s Post as often as I would like, it does not mean that we are not moving forward with the business plan. Our task is going to require your assistance and your patience.

Hallihallo,

Also schön WARTEN und keine KEINE Panik

Hi Max
Allerdings will jetzt auch keiner mehr was verpassen.

Press-release NCSC July/4/2000
strong buy, 3-day run wed/thurs/friNational Scientific Corporation Granted Notice of Allowance on Dielectric Resonator
via CDS
Aug 4, 2000 10:46:30 AM
National Scientific
(OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT) is very pleased to announce the receipt of the
Notice of Allowance dated August 1, 2000 on the Dielectric Resonator with all
claims intact! Under normal circumstances, the above identified application
will issue as a United States Patent approximately three (3) months after
payment of the issue fee.
Dielectric Resonators are an essential part of any radio frequency (RF)
communications systems and are widely used in wireless cellular phones and
cable television, cellular base stations, direct broadcast satellite receivers
and automobile collision avoidance sensors.
National Scientific`s invention improves existing dielectric resonator
performance by 60% both in size and quality factor. This revolutionary
concept is obtained by generating a new mode of magnetic field inside the

und natürlich auf die Homepage:
http://www.national-scientific.com

National Scientific Unveils New R&D Center, Resonator
By Peter Lim
Published by OTCNN.com
08/07/2000 08:53 AM CST
National Scientific (OTCBB:NSCT) will open its first research and development design center in Silicon Valley next month. The company felt the need for such a center as it moves into a new phase of prototyping and sampling its current line of products, a company spokesperson said. Prior to the R&D center, the company had to source out the prototyping of products.
“We felt it was better for us to open up our own facility in Silicon Valley because that is just the hub of the technical sector over there and we felt its important that we have the best,” said Wendy S. Burton, Director of Corporate Communications at National Scientific. “And with the types of products coming down our pipeline, it just made more sense to have it over there.”
Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, the company is an “incubator for high scientific technology,” Burton said. “We don’t invent anything new,” she added. “We take products that are being used in the marketplace already in the millions and the billions. We improve and enhance on them, patent them and then license them out to the manufacturer for a royalty.
“So we really don’t have any competition; our customers are our competition.”
National Scientific recently received the notice of allowance for a patent on the Dielectric Resonator, a device the size of a checker seed that could increase the operating capacity of cellular phone sites by up to 400 percent. The company designed Dielectric Resonator as an improvement to the hockey puck-shaped resonator currently used by most cellular phone companies. The company has also developed a resonator less than an eighth of an inch in diameter designed for wireless modems, Burton said.
Lou Ross, former CEO of Intel Malaysia, took over as president and CEO of National Scientific in 1998 and steered the company from the red to the black. Burton added. “We have no debt and have $2 million in the bank.”
The company’s stock has traded at over the $4.00 mark for the past four months and closed at $7.94 Friday. An application for a listing on the NASDAQ is imminent, Burton said, and perhaps even a little overdue.
“Our goal is to get off the (OTC) bulletin board as quickly as possible,” Burton said. “Lou (Ross) does not believe in pumping the stock or promoting it until it’s ready. He said it’s important to put certain bricks in place before we’re ready to move forward. And now we definitely feel it’s time for us to get off the bulletin board.”
Stock action summary:
Price as of 8/4/00: $7.94
Volume: 707,300
P/E: N/A
52-week range: $0.16 – 19.13
Shares Outstanding: 44,528,000
Market Cap: $353.4 million
Hmmmm, "it´s important to have some bricks in place" und "and now we definitely feel it´s time for us to get off the bulletin board" das klingt fantastisch, vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, das Ross mal gesagt hat, dass er ohne Verträge/Einkünfte nicht an die Nasdaq geht ...

Hi Jetsia !

PHOENIX, Aug. 14 (dbusiness.com) -- National Scientific Corp., which has secured three technological patents, is close to securing a fourth -- perhaps even this week.
And that expectation may have triggered a wild ride for its stock last week.
The company shares (OTC BB: NSCT) were hot Friday, closing at $7.90, up more than 25 percent from Thursday`s close of $6.31. Friday`s trading volume of 357,500 was about 50 percent higher than the daily average of 246,181, according to yahoo.com.
That climaxed what had been a bumpy ride for the stock last week. It opened Monday at $8.31, bounced up and down Tuesday, began slipping Wednesday until it reached a low Thursday of $6.13, then rose Friday.
Its 52-week range is 15 cents to $19.13. That high was reached in early March before the general retrenchment of technological stocks.
This morning, shares were down 28 cents to $7.63. The company`s current market capitalization is $339.5 million.
Although officials at the Phoenix-based company could not be reached for comment late Friday, a company source who declined to be identified told dbusiness.com that management suspects excitement over the imminent issuance of a patent may have helped the stock`s fortunes.
National Scientific is a development-stage company engaged in research and design of semiconductors and other technology for the electronics industry. The company has yet to realize any revenue from the products and processes it has developed.
Because it intends to license rather than manufacture its technology, securing intellectual property protections such as patents is critical to the company`s success.
In an Aug. 1 e-mail sent to investors, the company said it was told a patent on its TunnelMOS Memory would be issued this week, adding that the shareholders had been patient in awaiting that news. National Scientific had received a Notice of Allowance, a precursor to the issuance of a patent, on March 13.
Memory devices, such as TunnelMOS, have practical applications in desktop and laptop computers, wireless and consumer electronics, and Internet-related networking equipment. According to the company, the primary advantage of its new memory architecture is that it delivers more speed than the currently dominant CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) memory while consuming less power.
In addition, the company says TunnelMOS is compatible with technology geared to CMOS and that the performance improvement over CMOS increases as transistors sizes shrink, which is a plus because of increasing demand for smaller, faster transistors.
On Aug. 3, the company announced it would open a research and development design center in California`s Silicon Valley next month.
"The Silicon Valley region is a mecca for business success with the most extensive high-tech infrastructure in the world," the company said in a written statement. "National Scientific`s visibility, as it enters into a new phase of prototyping and sampling its current products, is important at this stage of the company`s growth."
National Scientific, which employs five people at its corporate headquarters in Phoenix, plans to staff the Silicon Valley location with engineers "who can significantly enhance the time to market of National`s existing products, while actively developing new products."
On Aug. 4, the company announced it had received a Notice of Allowance on a device called a dielectric resonator. Such devices are an integral part of radio frequency communications systems, used in cellular phones, cable television, cellular base stations, direct broadcast satellite receivers and automobile collision avoidance sensors.
NSC`s stock has been trading on the OTC BB since December 1996. The company was incorporated in Texas as American Mortgage Company Inc. in 1953. On May 16, 1996, the company changed its name to National Scientific Corp. and began its operations in the electronic components and semiconductor field.
The company`s strategy is to develop new technology and then garner revenue through licensing agreements and other arrangements with manufacturers in the semiconductor, integrated-circuit and telecommunications industries. As a development-stage company engaged primarily in research and development, the company had no revenues to report through March 31 of this year.
In July 1999, the company closed its private placement of March 15, 1998, for net proceeds of approximately $482,500. Earlier this year, the company completed its private offering of Aug. 1, 1999, raising $830,000.
The company reported a loss of $368,443, or 1 cent per share, for the quarter ended March 31. This compares with a loss of $88,629 in the same quarter of 1999. The increased year-to-year loss was largely due to higher costs of compensation, and research and development.

PHOENIX, Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- National Scientific Corporation NSCT is very pleased and excited to announce the receipt of the US Patent on its TunnelMOS(TM)Memory. The US Patent number is 6,104,631. The achievement of this patent has been anticipated for months now and the company is very proud to have achieved it with all claims intact.
This newly designed memory provides an alternative to SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) and CMOS (Complimentary Metal-Oxide Silicon) designs that is faster, denser and requires less power than conventional CMOS (Complimentary Metal-Oxide Silicon) SRAM technology. The new cell design eliminates the need for P Transistors.
Two key advantages of this invention are:
1. It is compatible with existing CMOS technology and processes.
2. The performance improvement over CMOS architecture increases as the transistor sizes shrink in an ever-increasing demand for faster and smaller transistors.
For further information on this patent, please visit the US Patent Office website at uspto.gov or Intellectual Property Network at www.patents.ibm.com.
National Scientific is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.

Netter Artikel im Dow Jones Newswire:
By Anne Brady
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
PHOENIX (Dow Jones)--National Scientific Corp. (NSCT) Chief
Executive Lou Ross says that almost every day, he gets calls from
brokers representing potential investors willing to sink millions into
his small company.
And stock brokers confirmed in conversations with Dow Jones
Newswires that although they may be precluded from recommending
over-the-counter Bulletin Board stocks to their clients, customers
have come to them wanting to add National Scientific shares to their
portfolios. National Scientific is the subject of much discussion
every day in online chat rooms, which may account for the unusual
amount of interest in a Bulletin Board stock.
Some brokers and an analyst said they have invested in the company
themselves. One broker at a major brokerage firm who has a personal
stake in the company said he really wishes he could go to his clients
about the stock, instead of having to wait for them to stumble over it
on their own, often at the NSCT Ragingbull.com message board. He and
others compare National Scientific to Rambus Inc. (RMBS) in its
infancy.
National Scientific, like Rambus, has developed a computer
memory-chip technology. However, National Scientific has patents on
four other technology products as well, and is developing a variety of
technologies.
"Some of the technology has got to be marketable," said the
investor/broker, who is precluded from publicly putting his name on an
endorsement of a stock for which his company doesn`t have analyst
coverage. "It`s sort of a mutual fund of technology, an incubator. The
odds of success go up with diversification."
Many Patents, But No Revenue
However, unlike Rambus, National Scientific has no revenue.
Ross, in an interview with Dow Jones Newswires at his small office
in a plush, shared executive suite space in Phoenix, maintained that
he has plenty of cash on hand to finance his multi-pronged plan to
generate revenue, and more money coming in, part from warrants coming
due. For that reason, he said he has turned down investors who want to
invest through a private placement.
"I just say we don`t have a need (for cash) right now," said Ross.
He said brokers have contacted him representing clients "who have
offered $10 million to $20 million at a time, but that would mean a
lot more shares outstanding."
Brokers reached couldn`t confirm that.
"What I say to the brokers is, `If you find a company that`s
underperforming in electronics and bring them to me, then I may want
some` " money from new investors to acquire it, Ross said.
His immediate plans, he said, are to: enter into one or more "joint
ventures" with other companies that include licensing his company`s
technology; apply to list his stock on the Nasdaq small-cap index; get
financial records in place for the first annual shareholder meeting,
scheduled for October 28; hire a marketing manager and announce the
hiring of a new president; and staff up his new Silicon Valley
research and development facility with top-notch talent.
CEO: Company Would Consider Takeover
That San Jose operation, set to open next month, may provide the
added bonus of making National Scientific an attractive takeover
target, a prospect Ross isn`t adverse to entertaining, he said.
"Sometimes good people is what (an acquirer) wants. I have a
reputation for (hiring away top) people," said Ross. "It (the sale of
the company) could happen to a bigger company that sees the upside,
the potential...but I don`t know what the price would be."
Last week, National Scientific announced it had received its
long-awaited patent for its TunnelMOS, or TMOS, memory product chip.
This computer memory is said to be faster and more affordable than
conventional SRAM (static random access memory) and CMOS
(complementary metal-oxide silicon) and to take up less space in the
die area.
Broker Nelson Cheung at Dynamic Mutual Funds in Toronto, Ontario,
wrote in an e-mail to Dow Jones Newswires that National Scientific is
"an interesting and attractive company because their products,
especially their semiconductor chips, target an enormous market."
Broker Admits To Getting `Antsy`
Some brokers were less enthusiastic. One described himself as
"antsier" than his clients about the company`s lack of revenue,
although he said the company has patents on "phenomenal technology."
Broker Dave Anquist said he has been studying the company on behalf
of interested clients and has advised them to wait until he can learn
more aboutthe principals. "I`m still digging," he said.
Ross formerly was chairman and chief executive of the Malaysia
operations of Intel Corp. (INTC). Last month, National Scientific
announced the hiring of a new chief operating officer, James Upchurch,
who was vice president and general manager of Lucent Technologies Inc.
(LU). That hiring has been heralded by investors.
"I see that as a real positive," said investor Rosemary Tienken of
Phoenix. She bought in two years ago when National Scientific was a
penny stock. "I think they`re well ahead of their time."
Last March, National Scientific stock traded as high as $19.13 a
share, as speculation about the potential for TMOS fueled a run-up.
Today, investors are taking a more cautious approach. The stock closed
Wednesday up 16 cents at $6.50.
Other National Scientific technologies include a transistor, an
amplifier (for electronic products requiring some level of power
increase), an inductor (for use in wireless devices and modems) and a
resonator. Ross said he also wants to develop fiber-optic technologies
and sensors.
Hopes are running high among investors that there will be at least
one revenue-generating contract in place before the shareholder
meeting.

National Scientific Appoints New Company President
Phoenix/September 6/PRNewswire/National Scientific(OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT) is very pleased to announce the appointment of its new president, Dr. Hashemi Majid, Ph.D. Dr. Majid has left his position at National Semiconductor Corporation as their Principal Design Engineer to join the National Scientific team.
Lou Ross, Chairman and CEO, states "Dr. Majid brings a wealth of experience and is one of the top engineers in his field. By bringing Dr. Majid on board our executive team, I feel it will substantially increase the chances of the company`s success."
Dr. Majid obtained his M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering at UCLA in 1986. He then obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University in 1990. After his Ph.D., he joined the University of California at Santa Barbara as Research Faculty where he conducted research on a variety of topics including high frequency transistors and vacuum microelectronics. In 1993 he joined the Research Lab of Motorola at Phoenix where he was in charge of developing high frequency, high power transistors for wireless applications.
In 1995 Dr. Majid joined National Semiconductor Corporation, where he was a principal design engineer working on analog and mixed signal integrated circuit design. He holds 10 patents and has published over 50 articles. He has written a book chapter on high frequency transistors and he is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Mr. Ross further states "In Dr. Majid, we have found a seasoned executive with the operational vision to take us to new heights in the technology field. In his new role as President, Dr. Majid will be opening up the Silicon Valley Research and Development Center this month and will oversee National Scientific`s current and future product lines."
The company regrets to inform its shareholders that Mr. James Upchurch will be unable to continue in his position as Chief Operating Officer/Board Member due to personal reasons. He will shift to marketing the company`s wireless products.
For further information contact: Wendy S. Burton, Director of Corporate Communications, 1-888-488-3181 or visit the Company`s website at: www.national-scientific.com

National Scientific Announces Intent to File Application for NASDAQ National Market
Phoenix/September 22/PRNewswire/National Scientific Corporation(OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT) announced today its decision to apply for listing on the NASDAQ Exchange ahead of the original plan. To increase our exposure at this stage in our development is a step in the right direction in creating shareholder value. The volatility of being an Over the Counter Bulletin Board Company limits the brokerage community`s ability to support National Scientific, the technology and ultimately the shareholders. Currently, National Scientific can meet all the requirements for both the NASDAQ National Market and the NASDAQ Small Cap Market.
As a result of this decision, the company`s accountants and legal counsel have strongly recommended that National Scientific postpone the formal Annual Shareholders Meeting. The reason for the postponement is that the company`s fiscal year ends on September 30, 2000 and the company will not be in a position to provide the shareholders with the most up to date financial and business information by October 28, 2000. The company`s attorney and accountants are concerned that there may be problems with the SEC if National proceeds with the meeting as an "Official" Shareholder function with less than the proper information available to the shareholders.
Mr. Lou Ross, Chairman and CEO would like to address the following letter to National Scientific Shareholders.
Dear Shareholders:
We originally decided to host an Official Shareholder Meeting prior to having the audited financials available, based on different circumstances. We did not factor in our move to a larger exchange ahead of schedule. We feel this decision to move the official meeting is in the best interest of the company and its shareholders. Consequently, we have decided to have two meetings instead of just one.
Even though we are unable to conduct an "official" shareholder meeting, we invite all the investors to continue with their plans to attend the National Scientific gathering on October 28, 2000 for shareholders wishing to meet the National Scientific team. This decision was made after careful deliberation on our part, as we are aware of the number of shareholders who are planning to attend.
We will continue to maintain our focus on our plan and we invite the shareholders to join us for a weekend reunion. Everyone at National Scientific will be in attendance to welcome the shareholders who have supported us by having faith in the leadership of this company. For those shareholders who are unable to attend the October 28, 2000 informal gathering, we will announce the date of the "Official" meeting once approval has been granted.
The company has set a new target date to have all SEC filings done, including proxy statements and all proper documentation, by November 17, 2000. The year end work will begin next week to speed up this process. This will improve the timing on several things including filing a full and complete application form for the NASDAQ listing. With that time frame in mind, the company would then be in a position to announce an Official Shareholder Meeting.
We will take all the necessary steps on behalf of our shareholders to secure the company`s continued success in this endeavor. We don`t just want to qualify, but more importantly, we want to warrant our level of achievement on a senior exchange as a result of our efforts.
Lou Ross Chairman & CEO

nissie

!!!NEWS!!!
PHOENIX, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- National Scientific Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT - news) announced today it has launched a range of high- speed power control products and circuit protection applications aimed at the telecommunications market. Based on proprietary technology, the product is a specialized form of semiconductor transistor called a thyristor. Simultaneously, NSC announced today its inaugural sales contract for this product line with a U.S.-based electronics firm to deliver 14 million thyristors over the next twelve months with the first shipment scheduled this quarter and an approximate annual value of $1 million.
NSC President, Michael Grollman, stated, ``We have acquired proprietary thyristor technology that is significantly superior to the competition in its overall performance. With extremely fast switching times and high reliability we believe this technology will excel in the protection of key circuits within the telecommunications network infrastructure as well as in high reliability applications. We believe the thyristor product will assist us in our continuing effort to establish a broad market for NSC`s products in the telecommunications and other related industries, and that the product builds on our base of experience with semiconductor transistor fabrication and also with the communications industry.``
Mr. Grollman went on to add, ``We plan to initially manufacture these devices in the U.S. on an outsourced basis, but as volume requirements build, we will be exploring adding manufacturing capacity in the Far East as well. We believe this technology, these manufacturing relationships, and the associated revenue streams will support and compliment our efforts to commercialize a number of different announced and future NSC product initiatives.``
Graham Clark, Director of Global Sales & Marketing, said, ``Our first order with a U.S.-based company which has annual revenues of about $30 million represents approximately 1000 wafers per month and is an excellent platform from which to build our Components Division. During the coming weeks NSC will be rolling out specification details on a number of additional products that will cover a spectrum of SIDAC OVP and power switching components. This proprietary technology offers customers significant advantages in frequency response and operational characteristics.``
Lou Ross, Chairman and CEO, commented, ``The progress we have made over the past several months toward reaching our goal of product commercialization has been in line with NSC`s business plan. With our move toward commercial markets, NSC has updated a number of its marketing vehicles to provide better- organized and more relevant information to prospective customers for all our products and services. Some of the results of this effort can be seen in our revitalized website, www.national-scientific.com, which includes additional technical information on our new thyristor product offering as well as updated data sheets on other NSC technologies.``

National Scientific Corporation Announces Successful Fabrication of
Tunneling Diodes, New Memory
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct 2, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- National Scientific
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT) announced today that it has demonstrated
tunneling effects in silicon-based diodes at National Microelectronics Research
Centre (NMRC) labs in Ireland. National Scientific also announced its recent
filing of a patent for a tunneling diode-based DRAM device.
Graham Clark, Director of Global Sales and Marketing, said, "The recent results
obtained from our short loop tunnel diode experiment show that the CMOS process
we are developing for this technology is experimentally viable. We are
continuing with our development program and hope to have a fully optimized
process for the manufacture of tunnel diodes available later this year."
Julie Donnelly, Central Fabrication Technology Manager of NMRC in Ireland, said,
"The fabrication of NSC`s tunneling diodes presented us with a unique set of
technical challenges, and I am delighted that we were able to overcome so many
of them to get these results."
NSC`s President, Michael Grollman, stated, "The tunnel diode is the most
critical and by far the most challenging component of our TunnelMOS(TM) (or
TMOS(TM)) SRAM memory cell and other memory applications. With this quantifiable
data from NMRC in hand, we believe that we have a significantly compelling story
to tell prospective development partners about our technology. While we have
made major strides in the development of our technology there are still a number
of significant challenges to be overcome before our TMOS(TM) technology will be
fully demonstrated and ready for use in commercial applications."
The Company also announced that it has completed a recent filing for a patent on
a novel DRAM architecture using its tunnel diode technology called TDRAM(TM),
co-invented by Mr. Graham Clark and Dr. El-Badawy El-Sharawy. Regarding this new
patent, Mr. Clark said, "During the past months we have been in discussion with
some key industry leaders discussing the needs of the marketplace for an
ultra-dense, ultra-low-power memory product that will be required for
applications in the later part of this decade. While our TMOS(TM) SRAM product
offers considerable improvements over conventional SRAM, the DRAM market is by
far the largest memory segment. By applying our technology to this architecture
we believe we can provide a DRAM-based memory that does not require constant
refresh and therefore has a significant power advantage over existing DRAM
technologies, in both standalone and embedded applications. From a business
point of view we now have significant activity in SRAM, DRAM and NVM
(Non-Volatile Memory) memories."
Mr. Grollman concluded by saying, "By listening to our customer needs and by
applying our ADT designs to meet these needs, we are now moving into a very
focused area of development and product application. We believe our memory

We believe our memory
technology can show some significant technical competitive advantage based on
low-power consumption, chip scaling, and density for a variety of battery and
main line applications. We also are pleased to announce the promotion of Mr.
Graham Clark to Vice President of Technology Applications. This is a natural

National Scientific Corporation Announces Full Scale License Agreement For Resonator With Temex of France
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Scientific
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: NSCT) announced today that it has signed a
full product licensing agreement for its dielectric resonator with Temex, a
subsidiary of The TEKELEC Group, a French Corporation, and one of the world`s
leading manufacturers of dielectric resonator technology. The agreement
covers the manufacturing, sales and marketing of NSC`s patented resonator
technology, part of the ADT family of technologies, and follows the previous
developmental licensing agreement between the two companies. The agreement
calls for Temex to pay a royalty to NSC for sales of resonators included in
the licensing agreement.
Graham Clark, National Scientific`s Vice President of Technology
Applications and Director of Global Sales & Marketing, said, "We have
completed our production testing process with Temex. We have commercial
samples available, and Temex is prepared to deliver a number of different
versions of this device in quantity to wireless device firms for whom power
and space are at the highest premium. Typical applications are in the fields
of Notch filters and DRO`s. Our resonator is up to 60% smaller than
equivalent devices, and offers strong performance, especially at higher
frequencies. Temex is one of the top resonator manufacturing and sales
organizations in the world. We believe that NSC`s technology, connected to
Temex`s production and marketing strengths, has the potential to produce
strong resonator sales for Temex and thus a stream of royalties to NSC this
fiscal year."
Frederic Petit, Marketing Manager of Temex, commented, "This device allows
us to offer a major size advantage for today`s more demanding and higher
frequency applications. The test results we saw during the last few months of
development were impressive. We plan to use National Scientific`s design to

About NSC`s Dielectric Resonator
NSC`s patented invention improves existing dielectric resonator
performance. This concept is obtained by generating a new mode of magnetic
field inside the resonator. We achieve this by reducing the dielectric to
metal separation to a minimum, coating the outside of the resonator with a
special conductive material. Using existing ceramic material with a
dielectric constant of 30, operating at 5.7GHz, NSC`s resonator volume is
reduced from 350mm(3) to 25mm(3). This reduction in overall size is further
complemented with an increase in quality factor Q.
Product Features
Reduces manufacturing costs by using less material
Reduces assembly costs by using less real estate
Improves Q using micro-strip
Large reduction in resonator size

Hi Brad,
