da ich investiert bin, sehe ich natürlich positive Kurse. Nur alles andere als diese Erwartung wäre ja wohl nicht normal. Ja, sicher hängt Impala auch von Platin ab. Sie sind da der zweitgrößte Produzent. Dazu aber auch der drittgrößte Palladiumlieferant. Und da läuft seit gut einem Jahr eine Megarallye. Zusammengefasst....Platin denke ich, wird nicht mehr viel weiter fallen und Impala steigt trotzdem momentan. Vielleicht liegt es ja an Palladium. Wenn jetzt auch noch Platin mitsteigen würde..:was wird dann?? Ich denke...Platin wird auch mit Gold und Silber nach oben gehen müssen

In October last year, Implats unveiled a $30m investment for a 15% stake in the project which was discovered by Toronto-listed Platinum Group Metals (PTM). In terms of the investment, Implats has the option to increase its stake to 50.01% by buying an additional 12% in the project from one of its shareholders Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), and then providing development capital equal to another 22.8%.

The two-step process required to take control of the project would cost $165m or R2.4bn which is R200m more than first announced owing to rand weakness against the dollar...

South Africa's Impala Platinum flags wider full-year loss

South African producer Impala Platinum (Implats) said on Monday that it expects its full-year loss to widen due to impairments relating to its Rustenburg assets.

The company flagged a headline loss per share for the year ending 30 June of between 162 and 186 cents per share, compared with a loss of 137 cents per share in 2017.

Headline earnings - South Africa’s most widely watched profit gauge - strip out certain one-off items.

“The difference between basic and headline losses is primarily due to the impairment of property, plant and equipment as a consequence of the outcome of the Impala Rustenburg strategic review,” Implats said in a statement.

Implats announced earlier this month that it will slash about a third of its workforce over two years in one of the biggest rounds of job cuts by one mining company in living memory in South Africa, with the focus on Rustenburg.

The company is due to report full-year results next month. ($1 = 14.6363 rand)...

Das schreckt mich momentan ab den Buyknopf zu drücken ....may be ..may be not ....aber der Kursverlust ist schon heftigst ....letztlich wäre die KE aber eine Megaschance für den kommenden Aufstieg ...auch hier ...Lonmin lässt grüßen ....

Hallo,

das mit der Eigenkapitalquote von 65% hab ich in der Bilanz nicht gefunden, kannst du mir was wo der Wert her ist.

Thema bei Impala sind die Kosten im Vergleich zu Anglo Plat., Anglo baut überwiegend, glaub sogar ganz im Tagebau am, Impala vieles unter Tage.

So ganz durchschaut habe ich es noch nicht wieso die auf keinen grünen Zweig kommen.
Glaube das der Palladiumanteil sowie der steigende Kupferpreis das Ganze raus reißt und sie in die Gewinnzone bringt.

Momentan wird auch über einen zu starken Rand im Vergleich zum Dollar gejammert.
