Mal etwas off topic:
Täuscht mein Eindruck, oder scheint es für Hard Rock/Spodumene in Vergleich gerade besser zu laufen als für Brine?
Zuerst dachte ich, das ist eine Folge der National Lithium Policy von Chile, das hat ja viele Werte runtergerissen. Sociedad Quimica Minera und Albemarle halbiert, Lithium Power International von 0,50 auf 0,15 etc.
Aber nicht nur in Chile, in ganz Südamerika (Bolivien und Argentinien) ging es abwärts, okay, der Lithiumpreis hatte auch den Rückwärtsgang eingelegt. Allerdings waren andere Lithiumwerte nicht so vom Kursverfall betroffen, da stellt sich mit die Frage:
Liegt es vielleicht gar nicht am Standort Chile/Südamerika, sondern gibt es einen anderen gemeinsamen Nenner, evtl. am Ausgangmaterial BRINE!!!
Kann bei Hard Rock kostengünstiger produziert werden als bei Brine?
In jedem Fall geht es ohne den immensen Wasserverbrauch und die riesige Umweltsauerei der gigantischen evaporation ponds...

Liontown Resources’ Kathleen Valley Lithium Project is the top-ranked mining project in Australia according to the Mining Journal Intelligence’s (MJI) Project Pipeline Handbook 2023. Achieving a score of 89 out of 100, our project was also ranked second in the world, only one point behind the Eskay Creek gold project in Canada, which scored 90.
The Project Pipeline Handbook assessed a selection of the 50 most promising mining projects worldwide, utilising an objective scoring methodology developed by Mining Journal Intelligence. The method involves the collection of 25 key data points from economic studies, ranging from the early scoping stages to the comprehensive feasibility assessments. These data points are then inputted into a system that calculates a score out of 100. The Handbook assesses projects across 13 metrics, covering six key categories: Economics, Jurisdiction, Confidence, Financeability, Engineering/Metallurgy, and Geology.
The Kathleen Valley Lithium Project received a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in the Economics and Financeability category, highlighting its strengths in creating long-term value for our shareholders and investors. Additionally, we received a score of 9.3 in the Confidence category, based on the project’s Definitive Feasibility Study conducted in 2021.
On track to commence production in mid-2024, the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project is expected to supply approximately 500,000 tonnes of 6% lithium oxide concentrate per annum. Lithium demand is projected to surge in the coming years due to its vital role in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market. MJI’s ranking of Kathleen Valley reaffirms Liontown’s position as a globally significant provider of battery metals, supporting the world’s transitions to a low-carbon future............

Kathleen Valley Lithium Project Continues at Pace: Progress Update 3
Kathleen Valley has undergone an incredible transformation since our last progress update video in February 2023.
Processing
The team has made excellent progress in the construction of the process plant and the project remains on schedule. The SAG mill foundation concrete work is now complete and structural steel works are underway. Structures are expanding over the full footprint of the plant and have well and truly come out from the ground.
Mining
The design of the mine has been optimised to produce even more ore than originally planned and steady state operations are underway. The team are currently opening up the Kathleen Corner pit to reach the large ore bodies, developing the Mt Mann box cut for future underground operations and stockpiling direct shipping ore. Over the life of the mine our aim is to produce net zero waste.
Non-Processing Infrastructure
Upgrades to the Jones Creek crossing have begun and are being done in a way that minimises our environmental impact in this culturally significant area. Construction of the camp is nearing completion with more than 600 rooms now available. Early works have begun on the 95MW Hybrid Power Station with the first of 30,000 solar panels already on site.
We are fast charging to production in mid-2024.

deinen rückschluß daraus teile ich allerdings nicht, da m.e. sich beide proj. auf sehr
unterschiedl. entwicklungsebenen befinden.

aufm zettel und findet nur deshalb keinen ´partner´, weil sies offenbar EIGEN- ständig bis

über den weitestgehend planmäßigen ablauf beim aufbau des KV- proj.......wie
