Sprott of the day :

Last year’s 100m @ 0.82g/t discovery hole at Marmot, some 3km from existing resources, took us by surprise. Today’s news that this forms within a 2x3km multi-element anomaly with the same pathfinder signature as existing resources is thus exciting news. No restfor the wicked though, with IP now planned ahead of a 10,000m drill campaign this year. This asset is ‘in for free’ right now, although that could change. Stepping back, the insolubility of gold means one ‘doesn’t just get’ 100m @ 0.8g/t –that must be the product of an intense hydrothermal / magmatic alteration system, ie investors can reasonably assume that where there is smoke there will be fire, and this is one stock that we expect to be just that this year –on fire. We maintain our BUY rating and C$2.45/shPTbased on 0.5xNAV5%1850-24for a 2Moz @ 1.7g/t AuEq open-pit averaging >200koz pa in Y1-5 at 4Mtpa, with only a nominal C$20m for regional targets such as Silver Pond / Marmot.

auf ceo.ca über BNCH und Marmot :
There is a 'satellite' intrusive complex underlying the Marmot that mirrors the same characteristics of the one underlying the Cliff Creek/AGB/Dukes Ridge ('Lawyers') area. In addition to porphyry potential, there are the valuable gold and silver zones associated with it. I believe that the further NW you look in the Toodoggone Region the less accessible (to depth) the copper porphyry deposits become and the Marmot is, in my opinion, deeper into the profile than the Lawyers which is good from a porphyry perspective. Now if you hold that thought...a most significant strategy of BNCH is to establish more gold and silver resources to depth this year at the Lawyers and if the Marmot still shows strong gold and silver mineralization at it's lower level in the epithermal model, with an underlying satellite intrusive beneath of the same/very similar characteristic as the one at Lawyers, then that bodes extremely well for BNCH adding to the RE at Lawyers in a most significant way. Now back to Marmot having a good chance at expanding the gold and silver in a manner similar to Cliff Creek - I would say that the economics would rely on the mineralized fault and fracture density as the 'halos' around the veins are less to non existent at this level. However enough density of mineralized veins at Marmot = high grade veins + halo at Lawyers is possible.
