Animoca Brands unaudited financial information for January-September 2021
8 December 2021: Animoca Brands Corporation Limited ("Animoca Brands'" or the "Company") is pleased to report key unaudited financial information for the nine months ended 30 September 2021 (the "Period").
These results include contributions from the Company's key metaverse business units including The Sandbox, GAMEE, REVV Motorsport, Quidd, Nway, Tower, Lympo, Blowfish Studio, and Bondly.
Key highlights of the unaudited financial information for the period ended 30 September 2021
Operating Numbers
Bookings (a non-IFRS measure) for the 9 months ended 30 September 2021 of A$184.4 million (approx. US$140 million)
Other income, which includes gains on investments and digital assets, accounted for A$697.6 million (approx. US$529.6 million)
Cash balance of A$49.9 million (approx. US$35.9 million) and A$155.7 million (approx. US$112.1 million) of digital assets in the form of BTC, ETH, USDC, BUSD, BNB, USDT
Other liquid digital assets include third-party token holdings of A$633.2 million (approx. US$456.3 million) which include AXS, FLOW, and other tokens
Value of other listed digital assets (based on mark to market, not IFRS standards) as at 30 September 2021
The reserves of the Company's digital assets were A$4.13 billion (US$2.9 billion), based on CoinMarketCap data
These reserves include the Animoca Brands tokens SAND, REVV, TOWER, GMEE, and LMT
Post Period
On 20 October 2021, the Company raised US$65 million (approx. A$87.7 million) to fund strategic investments and acquisitions, product development, and licenses for popular intellectual properties
At the end of November 2021 the reserves of the digital assets held by the Company were valued at A$22.57 billion (approx. US$15.87 billion) (prices based on CoinMarketCap data)
Token details are disclosed in the whitepapers of each project, describing their use case and distribution methodology. Although the token position for Animoca Brands is potentially substantial, it is not recorded on balance sheets subject to the interpretation of IFRS Accounting Standards
In addition to digital assets, the Company has shareholdings in companies such as Sky Mavis (creators of Axie Infinity), Opensea, Dapper Labs (creators of NBA Top Shot) plus many others, and has continued to invest in companies through and after the Period.
Corporate
A Notice of Meeting has been dispatched to shareholders to consider and to vote on a number of matters, including the change of the Company's auditor. If approved, the Company will be in a position to promptly complete its outstanding financial reporting obligations.

Darüber hinaus hat Animoca allein in dieser Woche mindestens 6 neue Investments getätigt. Man kommt da gar nicht mehr mit.
