North Sea oil and gas producer Ithaca Energy said on Friday that its Chief Executive Officer Alan Bruce would step down after about two years in the top role.
Finance chief Iain Lewis will take on the additional role of interim CEO with immediate effect, the company added.
Bruce, 42, led Ithaca through its listing on the London Stock Exchange in November 2022.

Development and production approval has been given to owners Equinor and Ithaca Energy, following reassurances over environmental concerns.

Supporters say the project, run by the Norwegian state energy firm Equinor, will create hundreds of jobs and bring in billions of pounds in investment.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 72.861.645 von Tamov am 05.12.22 11:47:47Danke für die Aufklärung. Mir war nicht klar, dass es sich tatsächlich um einen IPO handelte, weil die Begriffe (Spin-off, IPO, Direct listing) ja des öfteren als Synonyme verwendet werden, obwohl sie das nicht sind...
Bin froh, dass das endlich gemacht wurde, allerdings ist ja der Ölpreis "abgesoffen" danach, wodurch Ithaca und Delek kursmäßig gelitten haben. Ich hoffe, das wird bis Q2 besser.

Meiner Meinung nach muss hier unterschieden werden, ob es einen Teilbörsengang gibt (wie bei Ithaca aktuell der Fall), oder eine Aufspaltung bzw. komplette Ausgliederung.
Im Fall von Ithaca hat Delek einfach ca. 10% der Anteile von Ithaca an die Börse gebracht und dafür Geld (= IPO Erlös) erhalten. Für uns als Delek Anteilseigner ist dies eig. "neutral" wenn man davon ausgeht, dass der Markt die Anteile fair bepreist (hat). Das Geld sollte ja von Ithaca an Delek fließen und u.a. einen Shareholder Loan von Delek an Ithaca zurück zahlen (bzw. dann auch Delek Ebene die Verschuldung der Holding verringern).
Zur Einbuchung von Anteilen kommt es mMn. dann, wenn etwas abgespalten, nicht jedoch verkauft wird. Man stelle sich vor Delek hätte sich entschieden Ithaca als komplett selbstständige Einheit auszugliedern und selbstständig an die Börse zu bringen.
Insofern wäre Delek ja im Wert drastisch gesunken, da aus Sicht eines Delek Aktionärs der gesamte Ithaca-Wert in der Delek Aktie fehlt. Da Delek auch nichts verkauft sondern abgespalten hätte, wäre auch kein Kaufpreis geflossen, der den Delek Aktionär entschädigt hätte.
In einem solchen Fall bekommen die Aktionäre selbstverständlich im Verhältnis neu-emittierte Aktien ins Depot gebucht.
