For the quarter ended March 31, 2000, the Company reported the largest quarterly profit in its history. During the fourth quarter of 1999, the Company had experienced certain delays on one of its construction projects due to design changes made by one of its customers. Such changes caused a shift of approximately $175,000 of revenue and related expenses from the fourth quarter of 1999 to the first quarter of 2000. In addition, the Company benefited from certain unit price differentials during March, 2000, which further contributed to better than expected results for the first quarter 2000. Compared to the same quarter a year ago, revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2000, increased by $2,728,694, or approximately 1900%, resulting in record quarterly profits as previously stated.

      Debt Restructuring

Consistent with the Company`s prior news announcements, management has completed further reductions of its current and long-term debt with holders of its private placement notes in exchange for restricted common stock of the Company. At this time, management has eliminated all but approximately $20,000 of such private placement debt.

      Name Change

On February 14, 2000, the Company completed its formal name change with the Securities and Exchange Commission to effect a change in the Company`s name from Pacesetter Ostrich Farm, Inc. to PrimeLink Systems, Inc.

      3 Months 3 Months 6 Months 6 Months
      Ended 6/30/00 Ended 6/30/99 Ended 6/30/00 Ended 6/30/99

      Gross

      Operating
      Income/(Loss) $249,589 $119,346 $644,325 $24,601

      Net Income/
      (Loss) Per
      Share $.05 $.03 $.13 $.01

Gross revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2000, increased by $818,398, representing an increase of 256% compared to the same quarter in the prior year. For the six months ended June 30, 2000 gross revenues increased by $3,547,192, or 766%, compared to the same period in the prior year. Net income for the three months ended June 30, 2000, increased by $130,243, or 109%, compared to the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2000, increased by $619,724, or 2,519%, compared to the same period in the prior year. These substantial increases reflect the continued substantial growth in the volume of business completed during the current year compared to the prior year.

During the second quarter of 2000, the Company acquired additional management personnel to continue its expansion and established two divisions within its operations - Telecom Services and Telecom Systems. Telecom Services provides traditional work to third parties and represents a continuation of the Company`s traditional business in telecom to date. The Telecom Systems division was created to manage the development of proprietary systems which are constructed by the Company with individual sales of infrastructure (duct and/or fiber capacity) made to telecom customers out of inventory.

In addition to creating separate operational divisions, the Company became qualified to provide telecommunications contracting services in 21 additional states, and became an approved contractor for a number of additional telecommunications companies which utilize contracted services in many of these newly added states. The Company also began its first proprietary project along Interstate 49 between Shreveport, Louisiana and Lafayette, Louisiana. To date the Company has capitalized approximately $670,000 of costs related to this project. Although revenues were substantially increased from the prior year figures, second quarter 2000 revenues were down from the first quarter of 2000. This was due mostly to commencing the Interstate 49 project, as well as minor delays in two projects originally scheduled in early June which did not actually start until early July. Accordingly, no second quarter revenues were recognized on either of these projects although they are currently underway. Notwithstanding such revenue shift, the Company is pleased with the results of its second quarter of 2000, and expects continued growth in both of its operations divisions for the foreseeable future.

During the second quarter of 2000, the number of common shares outstanding increased by approximately 270,000 shares. The Company issued approximately 70,000 shares in conjunction with the extinguishments of the remainder of the Company`s private placement debt, originally incurred upon entering the telecom business in 1998. Additionally, approximately 200,000 shares of restricted common stock was issued to several of the Company`s officers in conjunction their exercise of incentive stock options.

      PrimeLink Awarded $3 Million Contract
FOLSOM, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2000--PrimeLink Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: PMLK - news), Folsom, LA, announced today that the Company has been awarded a contract from an undisclosed telecommunications company totaling approximately $3,000,000 to be substantially completed during the fourth calendar quarter of 2000. This contract, together with existing business brings the Company`s total backlog of traditional telecom services to approximately $5,000,000 scheduled for completion throughout the next six months. Year-to-date, the Company has either completed or is engaged in contracts in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Colorado. At this time, the Company is qualified to perform telecom services in 41 states, which has and will continue to facilitate growth in its traditional telecom services business.

In June 2000 the Company announced it had secured permitting for its own fiber optic system along Interstate 49 in Louisiana. Although management began preparation for the project during June 2000, major construction of this 12 innerduct system, in excess of 200 miles, began approximately 4 weeks ago, and is currently approximately 20% complete. During the third quarter 2000 portions of the Company`s management and certain of its internal crews devoted substantial time and resources at the commencement of this project, concentrating mostly on certain weather and environmentally sensitive areas of the route as well as developing the various protocols for project construction and the implementation of its electronic production tracking system now used on all Company projects. Although these efforts have resulted in no sequential quarterly growth in traditional business, the Company expects to report profits in the third quarter and resume growth in its telecom services business for the fourth quarter 2000 and the foreseeable future, as indicated by the backlog described above
