Digital Angel has numerous potential applications:
Medical Applications
Digital Angel™ could be used to monitor patients. Doctors could access their patient`s vital signs remotely and then analyze them. They could detect potential problems before the patient begins to notice the symptoms. The doctor would also know where to locate the patient. Thus, Digital Angel will offer enhanced capabilities over the emergency pendulums in use today: The pendulum provides no location information, and sometimes a patient is unable to even push the pendulum`s activation button.
Commodities Supply Chain Management - Food Safety
Digital Angel™ can be attached to commodities such as cattle and other livestock to track health and location information from birth to processing. This will improve the standard of quality control and ensure a higher level a safety for commodity-related products provided to the customer.
Security
Another application is in the area of security. Digital Angel™ would be very useful in locating people who are in danger of being kidnapped.
Little children and the elderly often get lost. Digital Angel™ would be the perfect system for locating them.
Warfare
In warfare, Commanders must always know where their soldiers are located, and whether those soldiers are alive or wounded. Digital Angel would be an invaluable aid, both tactically and strategically.
Law Enforcement
Digital Angel™ can be used to track parolees, people under house arrest, and individuals in witness protection programs.
Animal Protection
Designed for use with humans, Digital Angel™ can also track household pets and endangered species.
Tracking
Digital Angel™ can be used to protect and trace valuable items such as art pieces, computer equipment, and more.
Identification
Digital Angel™ could constitute an important security measure. It can carry personal identification information and transmit this information via wireless communication with personal computers. Requiring this ID for logon would prevent unauthorized access to those computers.
Firearms Safety
Another potential security application is the prevention of unauthorized use of firearms.
Many other applications are possible. In essence, Digital Angel™ will become an interface between the human and a electronic networks.

Applied Digital Solutions Acquires Pacific Decision Sciences Corp., Provider of Web-based Customer
Relationship Management Software
PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2000--
Acquisition Draws CTII(TM) Firmly Together with Digital Angel Technology
Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSX) today announced that it has acquired Santa Ana, California based Pacific Decision
Sciences Corporation.
A provider of proprietary web-based customer relationship management software, Pacific Decision develops, sells, and implements
software systems that enable automated, single point of contact delivery of customer service. Their products, the Super Service System
and Nucleus, add to Applied Digital Solutions` existing suite of CTII(TM) offerings and provide additional, proactive functionality to the
Digital Angel Delivery System.
Revenues for Pacific Decision Sciences are generated through license agreements, IT consulting services and annual software
maintenance.
Richard J. Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Digital Solutions, commented on the acquisition: "This acquisition draws our CTII(TM)
strategy firmly together with Digital Angel Technology. We have brought in a company whose primary source of revenue comes from
licensing their proprietary technology. At the same time we have secured that technology for use in our Digital Angel Delivery System.
The functionality provided by Pacific Decision Sciences product offerings will allow us to serve Digital Angel subscribers in a very secure,
very efficient, and now, very proactive manner." Background on Digital Angel(TM)
In December of 1999, Applied Digital Solutions announced that it had acquired the patent rights to a miniature digital transceiver -- which
it has named Digital Angel. Digital Angel will be able to send and receive data and be located by GPS (Global Positioning System)
technology. The company believes this technology will enable it to tap into a multi-billion dollar marketplace with a number of applications
that will prove to be extremely popular. These potential applications include: monitoring the medical condition of at-risk patients; tracking
endangered wildlife or household pets; managing livestock and other farm-related animals; pinpointing the location of valuable stolen
property; finding lost airline baggage and postal packages; managing the commodity supply chain; preventing the unauthorized use of
firearms; and providing a tamper-proof means of identification for enhanced e-commerce security. For more information about Digital

Applied Digital Solutions Raises $20 Million Through Private Placement
Company places 26,000 shares Series C Convertible Preferred Stock With Initial Conversion Price of $7.56
PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2000-- Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. The preferred stock is convertible into the company`s common stock initially at a fixed price of $7.56 per share. The conversion price adjusts to a rate based on future market prices and is subject to certain limits and conditions over the three-year term of the securities. The preferred stock carries a 4% dividend payable in either cash or additional shares of preferred stock. The holders of the preferred stock have also received warrants to purchase up to 800,000 shares of Applied Digital Solution common stock at $4.73 per share over the next five years, subject to adjustment. Richard J. Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Digital Solutions, commented on the placement: ``We are extremely pleased with the quality of our new institutional investors. hab mich eh schon gewundert, woher die das kapital für all die Lizenzen, Übernahmen etc. haben, die sie jetzt so kurzfristig aus dem Ärmel schütteln.

Die good News fehlen eben !

Hallo Eric,
Was willst Du sonst machen ??

The market is closed and we stopped by 3 5/8 Dollar !!
Aber was soll da passieren ??
Erfolgsaussichten neuer Produkte ??

Institutioneller Anteil an ADSX-Aktien wäre gestiegen.
Unter nasdaq.com,
http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/Holdings.asp?symbol=ADSX%60&symbol… SX%60
Bestiz auf 4449473 Stück gestiegen wären, also nun 7,54 %.
Aber
unter Yahoo, Finanzen
http://ca.biz.yahoo.com/p/a/adsx.html
steht,
Institutional: 5% (6% of float)
Was stimmt denn jetzt, ist er tatsächlich getiegen?

Hallo Gemeinde,
ich weiß jetzt warum der Kurs fällt. Der DA ist bedauerlicherweise
etwas größer geraten als erwartet. Deshalb kann er zur Zeit nur
Elefanten implantiert werden. Ein Feldversuch soll daher zunächst
in Afrika und Indien erfolgen. Ferner sind einige Zoos bereit am Test
teilzunehmen.
Tierschutzvereine, insbe-
sondere Greenpeace haben deshalb für Montag in New York Demon-
strationen angekündigt.
So nun alles klar, na denn. Und nicht vergessen am 11.11. ist
Analystenkonferenz zum DA in Köln. Also dann bis Montag Hellau zu-
sammen und nicht verzagen, das wird schon.
Gruß Spectrum!
PS.

By ANICK JESDANUN, AP Internet Writer
NEW YORK (AP) - The premise behind Digital Angel is simple: Build a microchip that can be worn like a watch, and have it send distress signals in times of medical emergencies.
The tough part will be convincing the public, particularly investors, that it could work. Developers are confident they can do that Monday, but they have no finished product to show off.
The current prototype is about the size of a quarter. Hooked to an antenna, it should be able to request help through existing wireless communications networks and the global positioning system.
The chip would continually monitor the wearer`s vital signs. Say the pulse stops, or the blood pressure gets too high. The chip would obtain location readings and notify a service center, which would then dispatch a doctor or other service provider.
Other products, such as a T-shirt, could monitor other vital signs.
The service center could also initiate contact and track patients with Alzheimer`s disease, or perhaps soldiers in a battlefield.
Although such tracking features raise privacy concerns, any tracking would be done only with the patient`s consent, said Peter Zhou, chief scientist for Applied Digital Solutions.
Besides, he said, the device would not have enough battery power to permit round-the-clock surveillance, and the wearer could always remove the device.
Nevertheless, the company`s own Web site mentions possible uses for tracking criminals and parolees under house arrest.
The technology could also monitor shipments of meats and other food products to ensure that they remain within safe temperature ranges. It could keep track of pets, endangered species, valuable art and laptops.
``We are developing enabling technology, not a specific product or a device,`` Zhou said.
The concept began when chief executive Richard Sullivan`s brother died suddenly. Zhou said Sullivan believed a monitoring and alert device could have saved his brother`s life.
Sullivan bought the rights to a patent and hired Zhou last year to develop the technology. After unveiling the prototype Monday, Zhou said, the company wants to test it and have products ready for sale by the end of next year.
The price? Zhou could not say, but promised it would be affordable. ``You don`t need to be a president or CEO to wear it.``

At last we have a serious number of shorts on this board trying to scare everybody into
selling.
I was kind of surprised there weren`t more of them before. Normally a rise as significant as
we had over 3 days draws the attention of shorts right away (hey I`ve done it myself). In
addition anybody who didn`t read the $20 million investment news release properly would
tend to leap to the conclusion that this was going to dilute the share base, when in fact it is
not. That brought in more shorts.
The problem for the shorts is that they didn`t take into account the impact that the product
demo will have on Monday. We`ve got 240 guests coming including, the US secretary of
commerce, 20 top wall Street analysts, a mass of National Media. No amount of scare
tactics on the Yahoo board is going to work against that.
Monday is going to see a jump up in anticipation, some (wiser" shorts will cover then
accentuating the move up. The rest will have no choice on Tuesday when the media hype
shoots us up even higher.
I short a lot - it`s often a good way to make a quick killing. The problem is you have to do it
directly after a news event - NOT BEFORE, otherwise you get burnt. Unfortunately for
these guys they didn`t do their homework well enough.
Sorry guys - you`re best bet is to cover first thing Monday morning and go long.

Oder was geht hier ab?

Erik

Hallo,
Kohl-Affäre weis man doch: Irgendwann kommt immer alles raus.
Also viel Spaß noch

Jeffrey Scott Associates, LLC; private investment research firm initiates coverage of ADSX ($3 3/16) on October 30, 2000,
3:45 pm est.
Coverage has been inititated by analyst Mark Thurman with an "aggressive buy" rating and a 6-12 month price target of
$15-17.
Research Notes:
ADSX is entering a stage of conglomeration of its core digital integration focus: Digital network, telephony, internet, computer
integration. Recent acquisitions and increasing investment support by institutions should help ADSX firm up its short term
earnings, while new product advacnes such as Digital Angel (DA) and licensee agreements from core units will provide
aggressive future growth. In the wings is also a likely monitization of non core units, such as internet website Intellisale. ADSX
balance sheet is attractive with no long term debt. Cash positions and shares available for sale are favorable for continued
profitable operation. Earnings should firm up for the next 2 quarters, with "explosive" earnings potential coming as early as
Q2-2001. We suggest buying aggressively.

Reporting from Cipriani`s: I stopped by Cipriani`s about 11:45. There are big spotlights set up just outside the main entrance,
and police barricades waiting to be set up on the sidewalk. I couldn`t see much through the main entrance, as the windows are
curtained, but there is a big video screen just inside the main entrance with "Applied Digital Solutions presents The Digital
Angel" on the screen with logo graphics. I went to the right of the main entrance, where there is a subway entrance, and luckily,
also a side door to Cipriani`s which I could see through into the main room. There are 3 huge video screens set up.
They were obviously in the process of prepping for the demo. The middle screen had the Digital Angel website startup screen
on it, with the words "Steve`s Temperature" printed on it. The two side screens showed a roadmap with a "vehicle" traveling on
the road, being tracked by the system as it moved, giving the coordinates of longitude and latitude. Then the side screens
showed someone at the main speaker podium. My guess is that it was Dr. Zhou (looked slightly Asian), and someone was
prepping him on where to stand, and where the mikes were, as they tested the video system, and moved the camera around. I
couldn`t hear anything. Then Dr. Zhou answered his cell phone as he got a call when they were in the middle of prepping him.
I could, if I had the time, view the whole demo later today from that side door spot. If I had a piezo-electric flat surface mike to
put on the window, I could hear it, too.
The graphics looked very good, very professional. I didn`t see any press or media vehicles around yet, but I`ll check later.
There also seemed to be FBI-looking guys hanging around outside the entrance. That`s all I have for now.

Hallo,
es gibt wieder Neuigkeiten:
Monday October 30, 6:47 pm Eastern Time
Press Release
Applied Digital Solutions Unveils Digital Angel Technology in New York
City
Company Demonstrates First-ever Operational Combination of Advanced Sensor Technology and
Web-enabled Wireless Telecommunications Linked to GPS Location-tracking Systems
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2000-- U.S. Secretary of Commerce Norman Y. Mineta is Among Participants
Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSX - news), a leading, single-source provider of e-business solutions, today unveiled its unique new microchip
technology -- called Digital Angel(TM) -- before an overflow gathering of more than 300 invited guests at one of New York City`s premiere event venues, Cipriani
42nd Street.
The audience, which included government officials, members of the national and international media, potential joint-venture/licensing partners and selected Wall
Street analysts, witnessed an historical first: the first-ever operational combination of advanced sensor technology and Web-enabled wireless telecommunications
linked to GPS location-tracking systems. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Norman Mineta also addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of greater ``digital
inclusion`` by spreading the benefits of the Digital Revolution to all segments of society.
Applied Digital Solutions` Chairman & CEO, Richard J. Sullivan, kicked off the evening with brief welcoming remarks. He spoke about the tremendous marketplace
potential of Digital Angel: ``We`ve been working with a well-respected management consulting firm to study the marketplace in detail and to target the most
promising segments and applications. In our careful analysis of 26 potential vertical markets for Digital Angel, we have uncovered a total marketplace that is
conservatively estimated to exceed $70 billion.``
Randy Geissler, Chairman and CEO of Digital Angel.net Inc., Applied Digital Solutions` wholly owned subsidiary, also mentioned the wide range of potential
applications for Digital Angel. ``Our analysis shows that we are well-positioned to move quickly into certain applications while developing a number of others. Two
areas of particular interest are in the healthcare arena - monitoring heart disease and respiratory disease patients. Also, the tracking and monitoring of pets, is of
course, right up our alley.``
Before assuming his current position in September 2000, Geissler served as Chief Executive Officer of Destron Fearing Corporation. In September 2000, Digital
Angel.net merged with Destron Fearing, which has been in the animal identification business since 1945. For over 50 years, Destron Fearing has developed,
manufactured and marketed a broad range of individual animal identification products.
Demonstrating the Digital Angel Delivery System
The live demonstration of the ``Digital Angel Delivery System`` was led by Dr. Peter Zhou, Chief Scientist at Digital Angel.net, Inc., and Dr. Keith Bolton, Vice
President and Chief Technology Officer at Applied Digital Solutions. The demonstration of Digital Angel`s technological building blocks showed how Digital Angel
can be used to monitor a person`s key body functions -- such as temperature and pulse -- and transmit that data wirelessly, on a real time basis, along with the
accurate location of the person, to a web-enabled ground station or monitoring facility.
The demonstration also showed Digital Angel`s comprehensive data-gathering, storage, distribution and network management capabilities, which combine to provide
customers with real-time access to the critical data gathered by Digital Angel. The customer access portion of the demonstration featured Applied Digital`s innovative
Net-VU product. Net-VU is an Internet-based Automatic Contact Distributor (ACD) that has been winning high praise from customers as an invaluable tool for
e-commerce-related Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Net-Vu provides a real-time human touch to all Internet-based customer interactions. This can be
particularly important in the context of the Digital Angel system in which immediate access to critical information is essential.
Background on Digital Angel(TM)
In December of 1999, Applied Digital Solutions announced that it had acquired the patent rights to a miniature digital transceiver -- which it has named Digital Angel.
Digital Angel will be able to send and receive data and be located by GPS (Global Positioning System) technology. The company believes this technology will enable
it to tap into a multi-billion dollar marketplace with a number of applications that will prove to be extremely popular. These potential applications include: monitoring
the medical condition of at-risk patients; tracking endangered wildlife or household pets; managing livestock and other farm-related animals; pinpointing the location
of valuable stolen property; finding lost airline baggage and postal packages; managing the commodity supply chain; preventing the unauthorized use of firearms; and
providing a tamper-proof means of identification for enhanced e-commerce security. For more information about Digital Angel, visit http://www.digitalangel.net .

Hallo zusammen,

Hallo zusammen,
die Frage ist natürlich, ob die
kommenden Geschäftszahlen wirklich
gut sind.
Wenn Sie nicht einigermaßen den Vorstellungen
der Anleger entsprechen wird der Kurs gnadenlos
abgestraft werden. Wie bei allen Werten bisher.
Also 8$ in Kürze sehe ich erstmal nicht.

Palm Beach Post Coverage of Digital Angel...
Business Tuesday, October 31
Applied Digital unveils monitoring chip
By Shelley Emling, Palm Beach Post-Cox News Service
Tuesday, October 31, 2000
NEW YORK -- In Mission: Impossible 2, Tom Cruise`s character injects a transponder chip into the foot of his fetching
costar so that he can track her every move. Sounds like science fiction, right?
Science fiction came one step closer to science fact Monday night when Palm Beach-based Applied Digital Solutions Inc.
(Nasdaq: ADSX, $3.41) unveiled a prototype of Digital Angel. The chip -- smaller than a dime -- is meant to be worn
externally but can be implanted in flesh.
The chip can not only monitor the medical condition of the wearer, but also can transmit the wearer`s precise location to a
satellite.
So anticipated was the demonstration that even U.S. Commerce Secretary Norman Mineta stopped by to watch.
"Digital technology has become so important to our economy," he said, adding that he applauded the company`s success
in developing the chip.
Consumers aren`t likely to see Digital Angel on the market for 12 to 18 months.
Indeed, several companies plan to market various forms of location technology over the next year. What sets Digital Angel
apart is that it can also collect data on the body`s functions and make it available on Web-enabled desktops or wireless
devices or send out a distress signal.
During Monday night`s demonstration, for example, the temperature of a man about 50 miles from Manhattan
was monitored before a large crowd of analysts, journalists and potential investors.
While privacy questions are an issue, Applied Digital insists the technology offers so many benefits it will one day be
relied upon by consumers on a daily basis. The technology also can track pets or endangered wildlife, pinpoint the
location of stolen valuables, even locate lost luggage.
Richard Sullivan, the firm`s chairman and chief executive officer, said the market for Digital Angel could exceed $70
billion.
"We believe this technology is a historical first," said Sullivan, who compared it to other technological breakthroughs such
as radio, television and the Internet.
The system utilizes the Global Positioning System network of satellites so that, using a signal from the chip, the wearer
could be located within a few feet.
In the event of, say, a heart attack, the chip would trigger a tiny GPS transceiver, which would send location and medical
information to a ground station. A micro-transmitter would then send for help.
The fully developed chip would be powered by body heat and could be worn on a wristband or hidden in clothing.

Nov herum herauskommen.
Schaun wir mal, was es heute gibt,

Hallo zusammen,

p.s.: hab nochmals adsx nachgefasst.

Jani,
echt lustig was im RB-Board abgeht.
Mir ist zum kotzen,
erik.

Hallo,
