SBD hat heute bei vergleichsweise hohen Umsätzen um 20 % gewonnen. Einen objektiv aktuellen Grund habe ich dafür nicht gefunden.Möglicherweise kaufen sich Leute ein, die Mehr wissen als wir.

Laß` Dir dieses Jahr eine Lehre sein. Auch ich habe nicht geglaubt, daß es so schlimm kommen würde. Allerdings hatte ich im ersten Halbjahr Teilgewinne mitgenommen, die ich mit dem verlustreichen Jahresschluß-Verkauf steuerfrei gestellt habe.

Gehalten habe ich die im Verlust befindlichen Aktien nur, wenn ich aufgrund der Marktenge und der geringen Marktkapitalisierung einen Wiedereinstieg für problematisch ansehen mußte bzw. die Spekulationsfrist bereits abgelaufen war. Mein Depot ist jetzt etwas "übersichtlicher" geworden.

Von Surfboard bzw. Grange habe ich mich bereits getrennt, als mein Einstiegskurs infolge des Kursrutsches im 2. Quartal wieder erreicht wurde. Insgesamt wurden viele australische Werte aber zu stark durch den Adelong-Effekt in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Adelong stand heute übrigens auch auf meiner Verkaufsliste. 75% Verlust brachten wenigstens aus steuerlicher Hinsicht Freunde. Vielleicht steige ich aber wieder im nächsten Jahr ein. Ein Unternehmen unter Buchwert ist immer interessant. Allerdings ist mir Adelong etwas zu bieder geworden. Irgendwie fehlt mir jetzt die Würze. Naja, der Hotstock Adelong entwickelt sich unter dem neuen Namen Orchid vermutlich zu einer von vielen eher langweiligen Venture Capital Gesellschaften. Mal sehen, was sie jetzt mit der nicht verkauften, aber stillgelegten Goldmine machen. Ich würde den Aktionären Gratis-Schürfrechte einräumen. Das hätte dann auch was mit (Ad)Venture zu tun.

Ein kleiner Trost bzgl. Deiner 85% Verlust: Mein erster Jumbo-Kauf zu 0,33 Euro liegt jetzt mit 97% im Minus. Da ich hier aber immer wieder nachgekauft habe und zudem strategische Überlegungen verfolge, stand ein Verkauf nicht zur Debatte.

Der faire Kurs von Surfboard liegt derzeit bei 0,0712 €, also auch bei 0,07 € würde man etwas günstiger als in Australien an die Aktie kommen. Außerdem spart man sich die Auslandsgebühren! Tatsächlich wird Surfboard derzeit bei 0,06 € gehandelt, ein Ersparnis von 18,66 %!

na den artikel habe ich mit genuss gelesen.

moser sagt, dass seine klienten raus sind, weil die preise schoen hoch waren. komischerweise lief die promotion fuer die dummen dann erst an und viele leute sind in all die werte erst spaeter eingestiegen und haben drauf gezahlt.

wer noch cash hat, kann den artikel ja fast als anleitung nehmen..doch erst charts anschauen...oder sehe ich das jetzt falsch.
wir sind in runde 1 verarscht worden und in runde 2 erhalten wir durch aufmerksame deutsche in aussie die anleitung fuer den reichtum ? nichts gegen die buergschaft in diesem fall, aber wenn das so oeffentlich (zeitung) wird, wo was investiert wurde, dann stinkt s bis in den himmel !!!

ueberall wird man verarscht, auch am nm...ich habe auch viel gelernt, aber wie willst du dich schuetzen ? daimler kaufen ?

kennt jemand den derzeitigen fundamentalen Stand der Dinge bei Surfboard, ehemals Grange?

Überrascht habe ich nämlich gerade zur Kenntnis genommen, daß einige australische Werte in den letzten Tagen wieder ins Rennen gekommen sind, so z. B. Union Capital.
Wenn sich an der fundamentalen Lage von Surfboard in den letzten Monaten nichts geändert hat und Surfboard meiner Ansicht nach immer noch unter Buchwert gehandelt wird, könnte doch auch Surfboard mal wieder ein paar nette Sprünge machen, oder?

hallo Leute bin eigentlich nur stiller Leser, verfolge Eure Beiträge regelmäßig und möchte mich für Eure Arbeit auf diesem Wege bedanken. Entlich ist Bewegung im Kurs aber keine Meldungen im Board, vieleicht bin ich im falschem Board.

Den Halbjahres-Geschaeftsbericht von Surfboard sehe ich als sehr positiv.

Die MKP betraegt ca. 8 Mio A$.

Im letzten Halbjahr hat man aus dem Minengeschaeft 5,6 Mio A$ Gewinn erwirtschaftet (trotz der Probleme mit einem Mauerbruch im Dezember), die Reparatur dieser Mauer ist beendet. Dadurch werden die Gewinne im Minenbereich weiter steigen.

In den naechsten 12 bis 14 Monaten wird man Gewinne aus dem Minengeschaeft von ca. 19 Mio A$ machen.

Die Durchfuehrung einer zusaetzliche Untertagemine wird bis Maerz-April geprueft, dies wuerde die Minenproduktion um weitere 18 Monate verlaengern, ab Mai 2002.

Die Unkosten fuer die Serviceplattform werden fuer das naechse halbe Jahr mit 500.000 A$ pro Monat angegeben (fuer Marketing und fuer die Abschlussarbeiten).

Ich persoenlich habe mich in den letzten Wochen eingedeckt und hoffe auf steigende Kurse.

Der Kurs stieg heute von 8,2 cts. auf 10,5 cts.
Die Zahlen stimmen wieder.
Die Kupferproduktion ist wieder in der Gewinnzone.
Bei Surfboard fuehle ich mich wesentlich wohler als bei solchen miesen Firmen wie My Casino oder Global Doc.

MT WINDSOR JOINT VENTURE

The March 2001 quarter was a record period for the Highway project.
Ore production, mill throughput, copper recovery and tonnes and grade
of concentrates produced were the highest achieved for the project
since commencement of mining in March 1999.

During the quarter 191,980 tonnes of ore grading 5.32% copper and
1.18 g/t gold were processed through the Thalanga plant. This
produced 34,585 tonnes of copper concentrate containing 27.56% copper
and 1.11 g/t gold.

A summary of the production statistics for the Highway Project for
the March 2001 quarter and project to 31 March 2001 is presented in
Table 1.

To overcome the difficulties resulting from the failure in the west
wall of the pit in September last year the pit is being mined in two
stages.

* Stage 1, which is scheduled for completion by mid to late May
2001, mines the northern and eastern portions of the orebody. This
will produce a large stockpile of ore sufficient to provide feed to
the mill for approximately 4.5 months.

* Stage 2, which is scheduled for completion during August 2001, is a
cut back of the failed portions of the west wall. This cut-back will
allow access to the remainder of the orebody. This stage is scheduled
for completion by the end of October 2001, by which time a stockpile
of ore sufficient to maintain mill production to April 2002 should
have been established.

The regrind mill, which was installed during late December 2000, has
had an immediate and positive impact on the performance of the
Thalanga plant. Mill throughput has been increased due to the large
reduction in the recirculating loads back to the grinding circuit.
This has had the additional benefit of allowing a much more stable
operation. Copper recoveries and concentrate grades have both
increased significantly and pay back of the regrind mill was achieved
after approximately 2 months.

The company has a shipment of 10,000 tonnes of concentrate scheduled
for April 2001 and a further shipment of 10,000 tonnes scheduled for
shipment in late May 2001.

REWARD DEEPS/CONVICTION PROJECT

The Company is pleased to advise that following completion of due
diligence, it has elected to participate in the Reward
Deeps/Conviction Project at Mt Windsor (the "Project"). Surfboard`s
wholly owned subsidiary, BML Holdings Pty Ltd, will have a 30%
interest and Thalanga Copper Mines Pty Ltd, a 70% interest in the
Project.

The feasibility study on mining the Reward Deeps/Conviction deposits
by underground methods was completed in early March 2001. Following
approval by the Manager, construction of the portal and the first 500
metres of the decline commenced on 20 March 2001.

The Project is based on mining an ore reserve of 887,000 tonnes @
4.74% Cu over a 19 month period, commencing in November 2001.
Processing of ore at the Thalanga mill is scheduled to commence in
March 2002, following completion of ore processing from the Highway
mine. The Project is expected to produce 143,000 tonnes of copper
concentrate grading 27% copper. Processing is scheduled to be
completed in May 2003.

Surfboard`s share of the mine, development costs is estimated at $5
million. The Project is expected to generate an EBITDA to Surfboard
of approximately $10 million and a net cash surplus of $5 million,
assuming a copper price of US$1763/t and a A$:US$ exchange rate of
0.51. The Project is considered to have significant upside, with the
potential of generating additional cashflow from other deposits in
the area that may be accessed once the underground mine is developed.
These other deposits include North Reward, Lower Reward Deeps, the
southern extension of the Highway deposit and a lens of high grade
mineralisation on the western edge of the Reward massive sulphide
pipe.

Tenders for the underground mining contract have been received and
are currently being evaluated by the Manager.

The selected contractor is expected to mobilise to site in late June
by which time the first 500 metres of the decline is expected to have
been completed.

HIGHWAY PROJECT

The Highway project is continuing to perform very well. Mill
throughput, copper recovery and concentrate production and grade over
the past three months have been the highest achieved for any three
month period since mining activities at Mt Windsor commenced in 1999.

The pit is being mined in two stages:

* Stage 1, which was completed on 20 May 2001, mined the northern and
eastern portions of the orebody and resulted in a stockpile of
approximately 270,000 tonnes of ore grading 6.5% copper. This is
sufficient to maintain mill feed for over 4 months.

* Efforts are now being directed at Stage 2, which is a cut back of
the failed portions of the west wall. This will allow access to the
remainder of the orebody. The Stage 2 cut-back is expected to take
three months to complete. Mining of the remaining Highway reserves is
scheduled to commence around mid August 2001 and to be completed at
the end of November 2001, by which time a stockpile of ore sufficient
to maintain mill production to March 2002 should have been
established.

Surfboard has cash at bank of approximately $5.2 million. Assuming a
copper price of US$1717/t and a US$:A$ exchange rate of 0.51, the
Highway project is expected to generate a net cash surplus of $13.1
million, after repayment of debt, between now and 30 June 2002.

EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES - MT WINDSOR

An exploration program over the Acquittal prospect, comprising 7
holes aggregating approximately 2,400 metres on a 200 metre by 200
metre grid pattern, has recently commenced. The Acquittal prospect is
located approximately 350 metres grid south east of the Conviction
deposit.

Previous drilling at the prospect has recorded barium and gold
mineralisation in strongly altered rhyolite from adjacent holes 100
metres apart. Drill hole SERC001 intersected 20m @ 4.11% barium from
152 metres and drill hole RPHY0821 intersected 4m @ 2.55g/t gold from
100 metres and 12 metres @ 10% barium from 136 metres. Barium and
gold mineralisation were present in the volcanic units above both the
Reward and Highway deposits and are strong indicators of the presence
of massive sulphide pipes.

COMPANY FOCUS

Surfboard has continued to direct its principal efforts and resources
in the pursuit of its announced business objectives of:

* maximising the return from its mining assets;

* preserving cash for the ongoing development of such assets; and

* pursuing opportunities in regard to its financial services
platform.

In this regard, the Company is very pleased with the progress of
current mining operations. It is also enthusiastic about the
potential of the Reward Deeps/Conviction Project and further
exploration activities at Mt Windsor.

The Company has cash at bank of $5.2 million.

In addition, on a strategic level, the Company is actively evaluating
various corporate and new business opportunities, as well as
potential opportunities for its financial services technology
platform resources.

The Highway project is continuing to perform above budget. Mill
production for the June quarter significantly exceeded production
reported for the March 2001 quarter. Mill throughput, copper recovery
and tonnes and grade of concentrates produced were the highest
achieved for any quarter since the commencement of mining in March
1999.

During the quarter 213,097 tonnes of ore grading 7.37% copper and
0.99 g/t gold were processed through the Thalanga plant for the
production of 53,498 tonnes of copper concentrate containing 27.79%
copper and 0.92 g/t gold.

A summary of production statistics for the Highway Project for the
June 2001 quarter and project to 30 June 2001 is presented in Table
1.

Mining operations are proceeding according to plan and Stage 1 was
completed on 20 May with the pit floor at 1125mRL and an ore
stockpile of approximately 270,000 tonnes grading 6.5% copper
established. Stage 2, which is the cut back of the west wall of the
pit to allow access to the remainder of the orebody is proceeding on
schedule and is due for completion during August.

Sales revenue of $10 million from the sale of 19,200 tonnes of 27%
copper concentrate was recorded during the period.

The project generated an operating profit before
depreciation/amortisation of $5.98 million and a net profit of $2.98
million for the quarter.
