The new team – LBC has a brand-new management. The spirit of leadership has changed completely. Things are not as they used to be. The founders` vision that had established a healthy business out of nothing created a solid basis for the rise of the phoenix from the ashes. The recent experience of intensive co-operation has confirmed our decision to invest in the company.
Mistakes – have lead to fundamental insights and were made to gain new knowledge. First steps such as the reduction in staff, the closing down of consolidated offices and the merging of buying and other departments were the initial measures. Further improvements strengthen LBC`s position as a European player.
The brand and its competitors – Letsbuyit.com is the best known and most successful co-shopper in the most significant European markets. Letsbuyit is the leading internet retailer in its market segment and will further expand its position.
The business model and its future prospects – are promising. This is proved by several facts. In 2000, a turnover of approximately Euro 38 million has been achieved. This equals a growth of 1,600 per cent within a year and an increase of the number of members by approximately 500 per cent. These facts cannot be denied.
Solving problems – One of the challenges refers to the steady improvement of the gross margin. It will be achieved through a focus on the product range and the co-operation with strategic partners. The aim is to adjust the average margin to Old Economy standards as soon as possible. At the same time, logistics will be optimised.

ich habe mich bisher immer zurückgehalten mit negativen Äußerungen
aber wie fertig oder wie viel Zeit ( weil pleite, allein, gefrustet) muß man sein um sooooo viel Müll zu fabrizieren.
