      Hallo und herzlich Willkommen zum ersten (und wahrscheinlich nicht letzten) NewMillenniumMedia-Thread.

      Ich habe vor wenigen Tagen von dieser Firma das erste Mal etwas gehoert und ich betrete Neuland was diese Aktie angeht aber ich muss schon sagen, dass mich diese Aktie bzw. Firma schwer begeistert. Ich hoffe, dass sich noch einige mehr fuer diese Firma begeistern lassen und wir gemeinsam unsere DD machen koennen.

      „you may say I am a dreamer … but I am not the only one” :-)
      aber ich wuensche mir, dass sich ein nette Gruppe bildet und hier nicht wie verrueckt mit utopischen Kurszielen umhergeschmissen wird. Kaffee-Fans sollten falls irgendmoeglich in ihren Chats (Threads) bleiben. Lasst uns sachlich sein wollte ich damit zum Ausdruck bringen.
      Kritik ist immer angebracht, sollte sich allerdings immer auf die Sache und nicht auf eine Person beziehen. Auch staendige postings von aktuellen Kursen versucht bitte zuvermeiden.
      Englischkenntnisse solltet ihr mitbringen, da ich nicht die Zeit habe alles zu uebersetzen (vielleicht findet sich ja jemand der diese Aufgabe gerne uebernimmt).

      Auf geht’s:
      Das Konzept der Firma ist denkbar einfach. Amerika (dort lebe ich uebrigens) ist uebersaet mit c.a. 400.000 Plakatwaenden „Billboards“. Jeder der schon mal in Amerika war weiss, dass diese ueberall anzufinden sind und wenn man im Stau steht guckt man auch schon mal ab und zu drauf. Diese sind aber fuer amerikanische Marketing- und Werbestrategen ein nicht wegzudenkende Kommunikationseinrichtung und generiert gewaltige Umsaetze. Nun ja ... ein neues Zeitalter hat begonnen und NMMG macht sich das zu Nutzen indem sie digitale full-color, full-motion outdoor und indoor Billboards vermarktet. Ich habe eines davon bereits gesehen und muss sagen das es wirklich GEIL ist und man gerne draufguckt und sage und schreibe sogar liest und aufnimmt was dort angepriesen wird. Die Qualitaet ist ueberwaeltigend. In Las Vegas haben die grossen Kasinos solche Waende und ihr wisst was das fuer „eyecatcher“ sind. Jetzt braucht man eigentlich nur noch 1 und 1 zusammen zaehlen und erkennt die Vorteile in Sekundenschnelle. Einmal installiert laeuft alles aus einer Zentrale von wo aus die Werbung zusammengestellt wird. Es muss kein Plakattapezierer rausfahren um die muehselig erstellten und gedruckten Plakate hinzukleben. Man kann aktuelle Werbungen (Neueroeffunung eines Geschaefts oder ein kurzfristiges Preisangebot, Werbung fuer eine Fernsehsendung die am selben Abend laeuft ... etc.) laufen lassen oder sogar animierte Spots. Alles ist jederzeit austauschbar. Man kann sie nachts glasklar sehen. Und jetzt ein weiterer Clou ... man kann mehrere Werbekunden auf einer Werbeflaeche vereinen wie z.B. Coca-Cola 10 sec spaeter Budweiser usw. Werbekunden sind bereit mehr Geld dafuer auszugeben, weil es wirkliche eyecatcher sind. Hmmm ... und ein Billboard kann man gleich mal an 5 Kunden verbuchen (das Billboard welches ich gesehen habe tat genau dieses).
      Es werden staendig neue Vertaege abgeschlossen und nicht etwa nur die Ankuendigungen von eventuellen Auftraegen. Die Aktie ist noch sehr unterbewertet aber macht mal selbst jetzt ein bisschen DD.

      Bei diesem letzten Vertrag kann man klar erkennen wie mit nur 30 Billboards bei einer sehr kleinen Kinokette bereits viel Geld gemacht wird.

      Das ist ja wirklich ein interessantes Teil!
      Positiv stimmt mich, das sie einen 5:1 reverse Split hinter sich haben und die anzahl der aktien auf ein erträgliches Maß von 6 Mil heruntergeschraubt haben!

      Der geringe Freefloat ist ja auch ganz nett!

      die Gewinnspanne, so weit sie stimmt, von 28% ist hervorragend!

      Freut mich morchel Dich hier zu sehen, denn ich verfolge Deine Threads fast staendig. Ohne Zweifel (zumindest fuer mich) handelt es sich hier um eine besondere Perle. Ich finde diese Aktie richtig sexy ... ich habe mich geradezu in sie verknallt ;-)

      Under the agreement, EyecatcherPlus Canada Inc. will market the EyecatcherPlus Displays and establish distributors throughout Canada. EyecatcherPlus Canada Inc. brings with them a substantial contract with the Ontario Motor Vehicle Licensing Issuers Association (Ontario MVLIA).

      Ontario MVLIA has 283 offices and issues all licenses in Ontario. EyecatcherPlus Canada has contracted 20 locations and plans to roll out more than 100 in the near future. Display installation has begun and the first office already has 15 advertisements sold, according to Patterson.

      Under the agreement, New Millennium through Strategic Marketing Group will place its EyecatcherPlus displays in the mall arranged in a triangular kiosk system. This kiosk system will hold 40 back-lit posters, along with a mall directory. One kiosk will be placed on each of the Mall`s two levels. The 80 advertising posters will be sold to regional and local advertisers, according to Thatch.

      "I am confident Strategic Marketing president, Marvin Sloan, with more than 28 years of sales and marketing experience, has the capability to market this display system to malls and other retail locations throughout the United States," said Thatch. "I anticipate Strategic will continue to expand our marketplace exposure, as well as our revenue stream, as we earn a percentage or usage fee for our product."

      The advertisements will be sold at a rate card of $500 per poster per month and has an annual revenue potential of approximately $450,000 at advertising 100 percent sold, according to Strategic Marketing`s President, Marvin Sloan.

      Infinity Sports has committed to place the screen in a maximum exposure location during each of the nine pre-game events. The tailgate parties will be held at ABC TV-28, directly next to Raymond James Stadium, prior to kick-off at the eight regular season games and the New England pre-season game Saturday, August 25, 2001. Infinity Sports has also agreed to provide New Millennium with media coverage as co-hosts/sponsors of the tailgate parties. This media coverage will include New Millennium`s logo on print and television media, and mentions on "tagged" television and radio spots, according to Rightmyer.

      In addition, New Millennium will sell sponsorship "banners" to be placed on the LED screen and 30 second advertising television spots that will air onscreen during the event. Rightmyer recommends companies interested in purchasing the advertisement spots contact New Millennium immediately.

      Allen Investierten viel Glueck, der Aufwaertstrend ist noch voll in Takt.
      Nach meinen Berechnungen sollte sich der faire Wert fuer NMMG fuer dieses Jahr bei ca. $9.50 liegen und mit einem bisschen Hype sind sogar bis zu $15 drin. Ich bin normalerweise kein Langzeitinvestor (bis auf 2 Positionen) aber dieser Wert hat es mir echt angetan. Trotzdem Stop-Loss nicht vergessen, denn man weiss ja nie :-)

      A valuable new survey of billboard users, compiled by Professor Charles Taylor of Villanova University, is now available through the OAAA. "A Report on the Uses of Billboards by U.S. Businesses," presents the findings of a national study that was scientifically designed so that the sample would be representative of the nation’s billboard users. A mix of a wide range of businesses was present in the sample, and statistical analysis was applied in order to draw conclusions.

      The study is designed to give insight on several issues pertaining to billboard advertising. These issues are:

      whether businesses using billboards would lose sales if billboards were banned

      whether billboards provide value to consumers and businesses

      whether viable and cost-effective alternatives to billboards exist
      Summary of Key Findings

      More than three quarters (76.9%) of the businesses sampled report that they would lose sales if they did not have access to billboards.

      Of those businesses reporting that sales would decrease, the average estimated decrease in sales is 18%. For all businesses included in the study, the average estimated sales decrease is 14.5%.

      As an advertising medium, the businesses surveyed report that billboards have unique advantages that cannot be duplicated by other media. Additionally, no other medium was found to be a close substitute for billboards.

      Respondents rated billboards substantially higher than any other advertising medium in terms of its "ability to communicate information at a price you can afford."

      Respondents overwhelmingly indicated that billboards serve a different function than their on-premise sign.

      Billboard advertisers use the medium to provide a variety of information to consumers.

      Both large and small businesses who use billboards report that restrictive regulations would be damaging to their business. However, the impact of restrictive regulations would have an even more adverse effect on small businesses than on large businesses

      Billboard and mass-transit ads are proving a boon for media companies, who in the past few years built up smaller companies in this sector to complement their local broadcast outlets.

      ``The overall ad market is seeing a slowdown, but the outdoor advertising sector has been resilient,`` says Prudential Securities analyst James Marsh.

      About $5.2 billion was spent on billboards and mass-transit ads this year, up from $4.8 billion last year, says Diane Cimine, vice president of marketing for the Outdoor Advertising Association. While annual radio ad revenue growth has gone from 20% to 9% and continues to drop, billboard ad growth is expected to keep at least a steady 9% growth well into 2001. Outdoor is about 4% of all ad spending.

      Washington, DC (June 20, 2001) ~ Revenue figures released today by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) for first quarter 2001 appear to reflect the overall climate of U.S. advertising spending. First quarter outdoor expenditures totaled $1.25 billion, up 2% over the same period in 2000.

      ueber die Konkurrenz habe ich nur die Info aus der ersten Message (oben) die lautet: (NMMG) is considered to be on the forefront of this industry with only one other serious competitor, J. C. Deaux and Co.; but we believe its technology is well behind that of (NMMG).

      We just wanted to make sure you got the information you requested on our company. Thanks for the inquiry.

      We do have competitiors but most are only able to have two to four advertisers on a single board. Our Eye-Catcher displays can handle up to 24 advertisers and they are patented. We believe htis provides us with a very strong competitive advantage.

      Our initial focus for business is North America- and our license agrements are focused in these teritiories but we do have longer range plans to look at Europe and Asia.

      Our margins are around 28% depending on the particular deal and we believe that these are sustainable.

      We can`t forecast future earnings growth but the company is very bullish on the future. We also can`t forecast the stock price and are prohibited from predicitng a "fair value". We do however feel the company is undervalued.

      Sehr schoen detalliertes Schreiben. Schon klar das es sich hier um einen vorgefertigten Standardbrief fuer Investors-Relations handelt ... aber trotz allem prima gelungen.
      Ich fuer meinen Teil bin bei $ 2.30 (89% Gewinn / Kaufkurs $ 1.22) ausgestoppt worden und habe heute meine erste Kauforder ausgefuehrt bekommen ... zu $ 1.66 (mein Limit war bei $ 1.70 und wurde von oben nach unten durchbrochen (Datek)). Habe neues SL bei $ 1.55 gesetzt im Falle das es noch weiter runter geht. Ich glaube allerdings, dass es wieder in Richtung $ 2.00 geht. Weiterhin viel Glueck allen Investierten.
