Das australische Unternehmen konzentriert sich auf Erotik im Internet. In den Online-Sexshops verkauft Adultshop alle Arten von Sex- und Erotik-Produkten, liefert nach Australien, Europa und in die USA.
Doch die Geschäftszahlen sind ( noch )schlaff: Im ersten Halbjahr 2001 ( bereits Vergangenheit ) machte Adultshop bei einem Umsatz von 12,1 Millionen Mark rund 8,5 Millionen Mark Verlust.

Kein Wunder, dass die Sexfirma, die seit Mitte 1999 in Australien und Deutschland gelistet ist, mit ihrer Aktie ( bisher )wenig Erfolg hat. Schon länger dümpelt der Aktienkurs von Adultshop unter einem Euro.

Im Juni dieses Jahres ermittelte die australische Aufsichtsbehörde für Wertpapierhandel wegen undeutlicher Buchhaltung gegen den Sexanbieter, durchkämmte die Zentrale ( Úntersuchung eingestellt ). Analysten trauen sich nicht an das Unternehmen heran ( zu ängstlich ). Zu empfehlen nur für risikofreudige Anleger

@metisdo, sex sells ist natürlich richtig, aber die Kurse
steigen heut bei den Bio Tech. Es gibt zu viele gute und besonders günstige Aktien. ASC steht in der dritten Reihe und muß warten bis wieder eine Übertreibung nach oben da ist und man extrem Zocks etwas zutraut.

ASC wird die Konsumzurückhaltung auch merken, wenn auch nicht so wie die IT Branche, doch diese werden die Stürme
aushalten und ASC ???

Although no site scored a perfect ten--three sites stood out as able to meet most of the criteria above, all tying at 9/10. These were Adultshop, eBay and Wishlist. These three sites achieved many of these goals, and are in industries well placed to take full advantage of e-commerce.
