Julia Roberts Joins Earth Biofuels, Inc. as Spokesperson and Advisory Board Member
      18 July, 2006

DALLAS -- Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EBOF - News) today announced that actress Julia Roberts will become a spokesperson for the company and will chair the company\'s newly formed Advisory Board. Ms. Roberts joins fellow Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman and country music legend Willie Nelson in promoting the use of renewable fuels such as Earth Biofuels\' biodiesel and ethanol.
"It\'s very important that we expand our use of clean energy and make a long-term commitment to it," Roberts said. "Biodiesel and ethanol are better for the environment and for the air we breathe."

The Advisory Board will provide guidance to senior management on key issues and will serve to broaden biofuels awareness on a national scale. Earth Biofuels and Ms. Roberts will collaborate on a program to encourage the use of clean-burning biodiesel fuel in the more than 500,000 diesel school buses currently in service across the United States.

"The use of biodiesel is a positive step toward minimizing pollutive emissions and greenhouse gases," Roberts added. "By focusing on school buses, we can affect the health and wellbeing of the people most susceptible to that pollution -- our children -- today."

"We are very pleased, to say the least, that Ms. Roberts has accepted our invitation to become a spokesperson for the company and chair our Advisory Board," said Earth Biofuels Chairman and CEO, Dennis McLaughlin.

Earth Biofuels, Inc. Announces Private Offering of $52.5 Million of Senior Convertible Notes
      24 July, 2006

DALLAS, TEXAS - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EBOF) announced it has entered into definitive agreements to sell $52.5 million senior convertible notes that are due in 2011 to several institutional and accredited investors in a private placement exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933. Cowen and Company acted as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.
The notes initially carry an 8 percent coupon, payable quarterly, and are convertible into shares of common stock at $2.90 per share which represents a premium to the 10-day volume weighted average price. In 2007, the coupon may decline to 6 percent upon the Company achieving certain financial milestones. The notes will begin to amortize in equal, quarterly payments beginning in 2007. The Company also issued warrants to purchase 9,051,725 shares of common stock at $2.90 per share that expire in July 2011.

The Company expects to use the proceeds from the sale for the repayment of its 8 percent senior convertible notes that were previously issued, for its program of building and acquiring interests in biodiesel and ethanol production facilities, and for other general corporate purposes.

The announcement of this placement of senior convertible notes as detailed in this press release shall not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy the notes or the shares of common stock issuable upon conversion of the notes. The senior convertible notes and the shares of common stock issuable upon conversion of the notes or exercise of the warrants have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933 or any state securities laws, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act and state securities laws.

Earth Biofuels Opens First BioWillie Biodiesel Tennessee Location in Cookeville

      09 August, 2006

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF.OB) today announces the availability of BioWillie, Willie Nelson’s brand of biodiesel, at its first Tennessee location at the Mid-Tenn Auto & Truck Plaza in Cookeville. Cookeville, Tenn. is located halfway between Nashville and Knoxville on Highway 70, off Interstate-40.
Because of its location on the heavily-traveled Interstate-40 route between Nashville and Knoxville, Cookeville is the ideal location for Earth Biofuels’ first Tennessee BioWillie location. Mid-Tenn Auto & Truck Plaza offers truckers 24-hour service, a convenience store, showers, a restaurant, lounge, boot and shoe outlet, U.S. Postal drop box, UPS service, tire repair and truck wash and repair.

Mid-Tenn Auto & Truck Plaza is affiliated with the National American Truck Stop Network (NATSN), and Ron Craig, a managing partner in Mid-Tenn Auto & Truck Plaza, is also the current network president. NATSN is the oldest nationwide network of independently owned truck stops, providing truckers with discounts and other incentives.

“There’s been a demand for BioWillie from truckers traveling through Tennessee along I-40, so we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to provide our customers with BioWillie,” said Craig. “Our partnership with Earth Biofuels allows us to easily meet that demand.”

By partnering with Earth Biofuels, Mid-Tenn Auto & Truck Plaza is the first location to offer BioWillie to truckers traveling through Tenn. BioWillie is a premium B20 (20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel) biodiesel fuel made from vegetable seeds, such as soybeans.

“Truckers who drive between Nashville and Knoxville now will have easy access to biodiesel,” said Willie Nelson. “By using biodiesel, we can reduce dependency on foreign oil and adopt an energy source that’s clean, renewable and helps domestic farmers find new uses for their products.”

Earth Biofuels Now Providing BioWillie Near San Antonio
      09 August, 2006

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF.OB) today announces the availability of Earth Biofuels BioWillie, Willie Nelson’s brand of biodiesel, at the reopening of the historic Circle G Truck Stop in Gonzales, Texas.
The Circle G Truck Stop, owned by Dr. Charles Graham, offers BioWillie biodiesel at the intersection of US Highway 183 and State Highway 97, just south of Interstate 10 and east of San Antonio.

Circle G was built in the 1920’s as a residence and store, and then later was converted to a gas station to take advantage of the well-traveled route. Dr. Graham rebuilt the truck stop to better serve the growing community of Gonzales and the passing truckers and visitors.

BioWillie is a premium diesel fuel made from vegetable seeds, such as soybeans. Circle G Truck Stop is the first to meet the demand for biodiesel for truckers passing through Gonzales on their way to Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi.

“We realized the opportunity to partner with Earth Biofuels to revitalize Circle G as a truck stop offering BioWillie,” said Cody Fry, general manager of Circle G Truck Stop. “At the same time we’re able to use the resources of local farmers to help meet the fuel needs of long-haul truckers traveling along I-10.”

Circle G Truck Stop offers a B20 (20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent diesel) blend at all three of its truck-accessible pumps. Circle G estimates that they will initially sell 50,000 gallons of BioWillie each month. A grand reopening celebration is planned for August.

Willie Nelson developed the BioWillie brand in June 2005. “Being a Texas native and growing up in central Texas, I am very proud that Circle G is partnering with Earth Biofuels to carry BioWillie,” said Willie Nelson. “I know that many of the truckers who pass through that area will be glad to have biodiesel available. Through biodiesel, we can reduce dependency on foreign oil and adopt an energy source that’s clean, renewable and helps family farmers find new uses for their products.”

      "Biokraftstoffe wie Ethanol können zum

      Treibstoff des 21. Jahrhunderts

Earth Biofuels Agrees To Acquire Louisiana Ethanol Facility; Earth Biofuels to own 50 Percent Interest in New Orleans-Based Facility
      05 September, 2006

DALLAS, TEXAS - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF) announced that, on August 31, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Earth Ethanol, Inc., executed a Contribution and Purchase Agreement (the “Agreement”) by and between Earth Ethanol, Inc., HPS Development, L.L.C., a Louisiana limited liability company (“HPS”), and South Louisiana Ethanol, L.L.C., a Louisiana limited liability company (“SLE”). Pursuant to the Agreement, the Company will acquire a 50 percent membership interest in SLE, which owns a former ethanol production facility in Plaquemines Parish, located approximately nine miles southeast of New Orleans on the Mississippi River and within the Gulf Opportunity Zone (GO Zone).
“Following scheduled reconstruction, we believe that this state-of-the-art facility will be capable of producing significant quantities of corn-based ethanol that can be directly blended with gasoline and thereby extend our nation’s fuel supply with a resource that is cleaner-burning, renewable, and domestically produced,” said Dennis McLaughlin, chairman and chief executive officer of Earth Biofuels, Inc. “The strategic advantages of this facility include a nearby grain storage silo, which will help in controlling costs by allowing real-time purchasing, and direct access to both rail and water for superior logistics.”

Interim funding for necessary renovations has been provided by Earth Biofuels, Inc., although the Company plans for the majority of the reconstruction funding to be provided through a financing spearheaded by Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. The reconstruction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2007, and the facility’s production capacity is projected to be at least 65 million gallons per year.

We believe that this transaction brings considerable value to Earth Biofuels,” McLaughlin continued, “by adding significant production capacity for fuel ethanol and by furthering our goal of reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil. We are also proud to be doing business in the State of Louisiana and providing an economic stimulus in a region of the U.S. that needs it most.”

Earth Biofuels Brings BioWillie to Louisiana with Two Shreveport Locations; J & S Citgo and Airport Citgo of Shreveport are first Louisiana stations to offer BioWillie
      06 September, 2006

Dallas, Texas - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF.OB) announces the availability of BioWillie, an Earth Biofuels premium biodiesel brand, at its first two Louisiana locations, the J & S Citgo and Airport Citgo, both located in Shreveport. BioWillie is Willie Nelson’s brand of biodiesel and is distributed exclusively by Earth Biofuels.
Because of the heavily-traveled Interstate-20 route popular with many truckers, Shreveport is an ideal location to launch Earth Biofuels’ first Louisiana BioWillie pumps.

“Because of these stations’ partnerships with Earth Biofuels, truckers traveling on I-20 through Louisiana will now have easy access to BioWillie.” said Willie Nelson. “By using biodiesel, we can help reduce dependency on foreign oil and adopt an energy source that’s clean, renewable and helps domestic farmers find new uses for their products.”

Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, Bob Odom, also sees the benefits of offering BioWillie at Louisiana’s local pumps. “Anytime we have renewable fuel that helps local farmers, I am for it,” said Odom.

J & S Citgo, conveniently located off I-20 at Exit 8, is owned and operated by J & S Fuel Services, Inc. The location offers truckers and motorists 24-hour service, showers, a deli, fax services and a Western Union.

Airport Citgo, operated by Smith Oil Co., is on I-20 at the Monkhouse Road Exit near Shreveport’s downtown airport and provides 24-hour service, a convenience store and video poker.

“We know the truckers are looking for biodiesel more and more as it increases in popularity, so I didn’t want to miss this opportunity.” said Jayan “Jay” Matthews, president of J&S Fuel Services. Our partnership with Earth Biofuels allows us to easily meet a demand for our customers.

By partnering with Earth Biofuels, Shreveport’s two Citgo locations are the first to offer BioWillie to truckers traveling through Louisiana. The BioWillie blend is a premium B20 (20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel) biodiesel fuel made from vegetable seeds, such as soybeans.

“There’s been a demand for biodiesel from truckers traveling through Louisiana along I-20, especially BioWillie because of the Willie Nelson brand recognition,” said Michael Millen, president of Smith Oil Company. “BioWillie will help us to sell more fuel. If it’s good enough for Willie, it’s good enough for me.”

Earth Biofuels Invests in Illinois Biodiesel Production Facility
      21 September, 2006

DALLAS, TEXAS - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF) today announced that it invested $5 million for an equity interest in a newly-formed company named Biodiesel Investment Group. This Memphis-based investment group is teaming up with one of the nation’s leading agribusiness firms, Bunge North America, Inc., to build Illinois’ largest biodiesel production plant in Danville, Illinois. Bunge North America is the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG).
Strategically located adjacent to Bunge’s soy crushing and corn milling plants, the new facility will provide a key link between local agriculture, Bunge’s oilseed origination and processing capabilities, and a strong Biodiesel market that the Company believes is currently underserved. The plant is expected to have a production capacity of 45 million gallons per year and to be in production in the first quarter 2008.

The Biodiesel Investment Group consists of individual investors and Earth Biofuels, Inc. “We are pleased and excited to be an investor in the Biodiesel Investment Group and by the Group’s partnership with Bunge North America. We believe that this new facility will provide us an opportunity to broaden our geographic presence and supply Biodiesel under our brand name, BioWillie, to new markets and customers,” said Dennis McLaughlin, chairman and chief executive officer of Earth Biofuels, Inc.

“We have been evaluating Biodiesel opportunities and sites for about a year,” said Mark Burke, the Group’s president. “The Danville site was attractive because of its ready availability of feedstock, the proximity of transportation capabilities, and the commitment to alternative fuels that the State of Illinois has demonstrated. We were pleased with the positive support we have received from The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Development, the Illinois Finance Authority, the City of Danville, and Vermillion Advantage.”

Earth Biofuels Offers BioWillie at Third Shreveport, La. Location; Louisiana BioWillie Availability Continues to Grow as Smith Oil Co. Fueling Station Joins J & S Citgo and Airport Citgo as Third Shreveport Station to carry BioWillie
      20 September, 2006

Dallas, Texas - Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB: EBOF) announces the availability of BioWillie biodiesel fuel at its third Louisiana location. BioWillie is Willie Nelson’s brand of biodiesel and is distributed exclusively by Earth Biofuels. BioWillie is now offered at the Smith Oil Co. corporate fueling station, located at 1604 North Market Street in Shreveport, La.
Located between Dallas and Atlanta on the heavily-traveled Interstate-20, Shreveport is an ideal location to provide BioWillie to the state of Louisiana. Earth Biofuels recently began offering BioWillie at two Citgo fueling stations, J&S Citgo and Airport Citgo, both in Shreveport. Due to the demand for the BioWillie B20 blend along this thoroughfare, pump owner and Smith Oil Co. president, Michael Millen saw an opportunity to increase availability with a third BioWillie pump at Smith Oil Co.’s corporate fueling location adjacent to its office in Shreveport.

“There’s been a request for biodiesel from truckers traveling through Louisiana along I-20, especially BioWillie because of the Willie Nelson brand recognition,” said Millen. “Partnering with Earth Biofuels to offer BioWillie not only helps us sell more fuel, it also allows us to best meet the needs of our customers.”

The Smith Oil Co. fuel pump is located three miles south of Loop 220 on LA Highway 1 at 1604 N. Market Street. The pumps are under the card-lock system, which allows any CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) Card holder access to pay at the pump. Commercial drivers interested in becoming a member of the CFN can set up an account at this location as well.

“I am very proud that the Smith Oil Co. fueling station is partnering with Earth Biofuels to carry BioWillie,” said Willie Nelson. “I know that many of the truckers who pass through that area will be glad to have biodiesel available. Through biodiesel, we can reduce dependency on foreign oil and adopt an energy source that’s clean, renewable and helps family farmers find new uses for their products.”

By partnering with Earth Biofuels, Shreveport’s three locations are the first to offer BioWillie to truckers traveling through Louisiana. BioWillie is a premium B20 blend (20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel) biodiesel fuel made from vegetable seeds, such as soybeans.

Pacific Biodiesel Texas, LP to Release Its First Load of ASTM-Certified Biodiesel From Own Local Refinery
      05 October, 2006

Carl’s Corner, Texas – Beginning today Pacific Biodiesel (PB) Texas, LP will release its first tanker load of ASTM-certified biodiesel, produced from local cottonseed oil, out the gates of its local biodiesel refinery. The refinery, built by Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. and conceived by Willie Nelson, is located immediately adjacent to what was once Carl’s Corner Truck Stop. Earth Biofuels, the exclusive distributor of BioWillie premium brand biodiesel, will pick up three loads per week of biodiesel processed at the facility for delivery at a number of area truck stops. The truck stop at Carl’s Corner is currently undergoing major renovations and will reopen early next year as Willie’s Place.
Daily deliveries of cottonseed oil from at least five Texas mills are received at the Pacific Biodiesel Texas biodiesel plant and turned into the cleaner, safer renewable fuel at the rate of 8,000 gallons per day. The fuel is being sold in outlying areas, but the plant will eventually be the major supplier of biodiesel to Earth Biofuels at the neighboring truck stop when Willie’s Place is completed. Pacific Biodiesel Texas is the second biodiesel production partnership for Willie Nelson and Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. Nelson and his wife Annie are also invested in Sequential-Pacific Biodiesel in Salem, Oregon.

This is indeed an historic moment,” Nelson commented. “We’re able to produce biodiesel grown by local farmers and sold to outlets all over the state of Texas because of this partnership between Pacific Biodiesel and Earth Biofuels. This is the first of many truckloads to come!”
The Pacific Biodiesel Texas refinery can process over 2.5 million gallons per year and is designed to utilize many different feedstocks other than cottonseed oil, including used cooking oil, animal fats and oils and other virgin vegetable oils such as soybean and canola oil. The Texas plant is the ninth biodiesel plant built by Pacific Biodiesel, Inc. and it started up without a hitch, with its first 25,000 gallons meeting the required ASTM D6751 U.S. specification for biodiesel.

Bob King, President of Pacific Biodiesel Inc. and Managing Partner of Pacific Biodiesel Texas, expressed his enthusiasm for bringing biodiesel production to the community. “It’s the ideal energy solution, when you can utilize local feedstock, pay the farmers a good price for their product, and use zero energy delivering fuel to the consumer,” he said, referring to the day when Willie’s Place will sell the bulk of the fuel from the plant.

“As the exclusive distributor of BioWillie, Earth Biofuels is able to work with producers such as Pacific Biodiesel Texas to ensure that premium biodiesel is available to truckers traveling throughout Texas,” said Dennis McLaughlin, CEO of Earth Biofuels. “We are committed to providing premium biodiesel that will not only help the environment by lowering engine emissions, but also help reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil and create work for local farmers.”

The Pacific Biodiesel Texas plant uses a single stage process to convert used vegetable oil and animal fats into fuel usable in any diesel engine. Among the many benefits of biodiesel fuel are lower toxic emissions, safer handling requirements and 100% biodegradability. The Salem plant also processes used cooking oil into biodiesel, adding recycling to the list of positive aspects of its renewable fuel production.
