      Eagle Plains Stakes Additional Uranium Properties

      Cranbrook, B.C., December 13th, 2006: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) has recently completed additional staking in an area near its existing Eagle Lake, Karin Lake and Foster Lake holdings located 30-40 km east of Cameco’s Key Lake deposit in north-central Saskatchewan, Canada.

      The newly acquired claims are held 100% by Eagle Plains and carry no underlying royalties or encumbrances. The new claim areas are named “Kulyk Lake” and “Jenny Lake”. The staking follows an extensive airborne geophysical survey and follow-up ground geological program carried out this fall under the supervision of Eagle Plain’s geologist Jarrod A. Brown, P.Geo.

      Updated maps showing the location of the Eagle Plains Saskatchewan uranium properties may be found at http://www.eagleplains.com/projects/sask/eaglelake/index.asp

      The Kulyk Lake property covers approximately 96 sq km and was staked to cover known historic uranium mineral occurrences and uranium lake sediment anomalies within prospective folded and faulted basement lithologies of the Wollaston Group. Much of the known uranium mineralization occurs along Wollaston Group contacts and fault intersections, particularly in the presence of pegmatite. Historical trenching at one such occurrence revealed 0.369% U3O8 over 3.4 m (SMDI 0993). Grab sampling from another occurrence returned up to 1.68% U3O8 (SMDI 0978).

      The 50 sq km Jenny Lake area also covers prospective basement lithologies of the Wollaston Domain at its eastern limit along a major tectonic boundary. Known uranium mineral occurrences are associated with several large-scale structures that suggest excellent regional prospecting potential. Historical grab samples of yellow stained fractures in gneiss and pegmatite returned values up to 0.47% U3O8 (SMDI 0981). To the east, a single historical drill hole near the Needle Falls Shear zone intersected a sulphide and graphite-bearing zone in pelitic host rock

      The Eagle Lake property is currently subject to a Letter of Intent with Mulligan Capital Corp. (TSX-V:MCC.P) whereby Mulligan may earn a 60% interest in the property by incurring $5,000,000 in exploration expenditures and issuing 1,000,000 common shares to EPL by December 31st, 2010.

      Eagle Plains and in part, Mulligan now control over 47,000 ha (approx. 900 sq km) within the Wollaston Domain; the same geologic sequence which hosts most of Saskatchewan’s prolific uranium deposits including Key Lake, Millenium, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Midwest, Eagle Point, and others. The entire claim area contains at least 25 recorded historic uranium occurrences.

      EPL’s focus will be to explore for basement-hosted uranium deposits in north to northwest-trending faults which are interpreted to have formed structural traps where uranium mineralization may have been preserved.

      Eagle Plains Resources continues to conduct research, acquisition and exploration projects in western Canada. The Company controls over 30 gold and base-metal projects, many with third parties including NovaGold Inc. (AMEX,TSX:NG), Alexco Resource Corp. (TSX-V:AXR), Solomon Resources Inc (TSX-V:SRB), Blind Creek Resources and Golden Cariboo Resources Inc. (TSX-V:GCC). These agreements expose Eagle Plains to over $11.0 million in exploration expenditures over the next five years. In recent years, Eagle Plains has completed option agreements with Billiton Metals, Rio Algom Exploration, Kennecott Exploration, Viceroy Resource Corp. and numerous other junior exploration companies, resulting in over 30,000m (100,000’) of drilling and over $9,000,000 in exploration spending on its projects since 1998. During the 2005 season, EPL and its partners completed over 11,900m (39,000’) of diamond drilling on its properties.

      Hier:

      FROM THE BIG IDEAS DIGEST (BID) MESSAGE BOARD:

      EPL currently has a market cap of $40+ Million.

      Inferred Resources at the Blende & Sphinx properties:

      * 35 million ounces silver (Blende) = ~$0.5B
      * 1.2 billion pounds lead (Blende) = ~$1.2B
      * 1.3 billion pounds zinc (Blende) = ~$2.4 B
      * 48 million pounds molybdenum (Sphinx) = ~$1.6 B

      Total=~$5.7 B or ~100+ times the current market cap--and that doesn't
      count for any uranium credits or credits from their other properties
      (EPL has over 35 precious & base metals projects).

      EPL acquired APEX Diamond Drilling--a move that gives them a competitive
      advantage on the drill side.

      The company has two JV uranium projects with shares in both WELLSTAR (1
      million shares) & Blue Sky Uranium (500,000 shares).

      The company is a project generator with a skilled management team.

      Cranbrook, B.C., 24 April, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has commenced work related to a 2500m Phase 1 diamond drilling program on it’s 100% controlled Sphinx property, located 60 km west of Kimberley, B.C.. Drilling was last completed on the property in late fall, 2006 (see EPL NR February 7th, 2007). Results of the 2006 program include hole SX06-15, which intersected .042% Mo (.070 %MoS2) over its entire length of 470m (ending in mineralization), and hole SX06-15 which intersected a high-grade intercept of 79.0 m grading .068% Mo (.114%MoS2).

      Snow removal has been completed along the access road to the property, and camp construction is now underway. Drilling activity is expected to occur in approximately one week. It is expected that the Phase 1 work will take approximately 4 weeks to complete. Drilling services have been contracted to Apex Diamond Drilling Ltd. of Smithers, B.C., a company controlled by Eagle Plains.

      Sphinx Project Summary

      The Sphinx property area consists of approximately 2500 ha, with 1600 ha acquired by staking by EPL and 900 ha subject to an option to earn a 100% interest (less 1% NSR) from arms-length individuals. The claims are ideally located with respect to local infrastructure. The property is road-accessible, has been logged extensively and is situated along a high-voltage hydro-electric line. Rail facilities are located 60km east of the property.

      B. Price, P.Geo. submitted a technical report in May, 2006 which outlined an Inferred Resource of 62,005,615 tonnes grading .035% Mo, using a cut-off grade of .01% Mo. This current inferred resource represents 47,884,630 lbs of contained molybdenum metal. The estimate is based on 14 holes drilled in 2005 by Eagle Plains and incorporates data from 10 holes drilled in 1980 and 1997 by past operators. Drill holes from the 2006 program have not yet been incorporated into the inferred resource calculation. The inferred resource is open in two directions and to depth, and is considered to have significant potential for expansion. The project is being advanced as a bulk-tonnage target.

      - Hole SX07025 intersected .085% Mo (0.142% MoS2) over 29.0 m including 19.0 m @ 0.104 Mo (0.173% MoS2) also including 3.0 m @ 0.276% Mo (0.460 % MoS2)

      - Drill holes successfully tested mineralization up dip and along strike and are expected to increase size and grade of mineralized area

      - Numerous high grade targets remain to be tested

      Sphinx Project Summary

      The Sphinx property area consists of approximately 15,400 ha, with 14,500 ha acquired by staking by EPL and 900 ha subject to an option to earn a 100% interest (less 1% NSR) from arms-length individuals. The claims are ideally located with respect to local infrastructure. The property is road-accessible, has been logged extensively and is situated along a high-voltage hydro-electric line. Rail facilities are located 60km east of the property. The project is being advanced as a bulk-tonnage target.

      The Sphinx molybdenum-tungsten system has been defined by 38 holes for a total of 10,686m of drilling and consists of a tabular, steeply-west dipping intrusive body with a true thickness of 85m and a strike length of 230m (open in two directions and to depth). A pervasive alteration system, 700m by 350m in size, is developed in the host sedimentary and intrusive rocks. Mineralization is hosted in stockwork veins and fractures within the alteration zone.

      Past drilling in late 2006 was successful in delineating new sections of higher-grade mineralization (see NR February 2007) while follow-up drilling in 2007 expanded these higher-grade zones and helped to define the geometry of the mineralized intrusive and adjacent host rocks.

      B. Price, P.Geo. submitted a technical report in May 2006 which outlined an Inferred Resource of 62,005,615 tonnes grading .035% Mo, using a cut-off grade of .01% Mo. This current inferred resource represents 47,884,630 lbs of contained molybdenum metal. The estimate is based on 14 holes drilled in 2005 by Eagle Plains and incorporates data from 10 holes drilled in 1980 and 1997 by past operators. An updated resource calculation is underway, and will include drill holes from the 2006 and 2007 programs. The current inferred resource is considered to have significant potential to increase in grade.

      "Eagle Plains Announces Bronco Results

      Cranbrook, B.C. 10 April, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (“Eagle Plains”) (EPL:TSX-V) is pleased to announce the results of the 2007 exploration program at its 100% owned “Bronco” project.

      The 2007 Bronco program evaluated five prospecting permits and 168 Yukon mineral claims covering a seven km structural trend hosting two significant Zn-Pb-Ag showings discovered by Eagle Plains' exploration crews in 2006. Field crews prospected, mapped and sampled along the mineralized trend and carried out regional reconnaissance surveys. Ground geophysical magnetometer, gravity and Horizontal Loop Electromagnetic surveys carried out by Aurora Geosciences Ltd. identified a significant gravity anomaly associated with the Golf Ball Zn-Pb showing.

      Five NQ diamond drill holes totalling 888 m (2900’) were completed at the Bronco and nearby Mustang Showing during 2007. These drill holes tested the depth extent, continuity and grade of two showings at the Bronco site and indicate that Zn-Pb-Ag mineralization follows a deep seated fault system containing base metal sulphides in altered and brecciated limestones. Significant results from the drilling are tabulated below.

      The Bronco-Golf Ball corridor of mineralization contains a trend of promising new carbonate-hosted Zn-Pb showings and the close association of structure and dissolution textures suggests a substantial fluid event follows these deep rooted structures. The impermeable shale formations which overlie the area created a barrier resulting in the precipitation of base metals near the crest of a large anticlinal fold. This geological environment is believed favourable for generating a large, high-grade, Zn-Pb deposit within limestones. Considerable SEDEX style Zn-Pb-Ag potential also exists within unexplored horizons contained in black shale basins which underlie much of the permit areas. Numerous untested regional silt geochemical anomalies remain to be followed-up and a number of the new showings and strong Zn-Ag soil geochemical anomalies discovered in 2007 will be targeted in 2008.

      The Bronco project is part of a larger regional-scale exploration project undertaken by Eagle Plains since 1999, when EPL staked the Gayna River deposit and began accumulating data in the area. The general area now controlled 100% by EPL was once subject to extensive exploration during the 1970s and early 1980s and was the site of numerous drilling programs, dozens of grassroots examinations, and thousands of individual claims held by various junior and major exploration companies including RTZ, Placer Dome Inc., Bethlehem Copper, Cominco, Noranda, Amax, Serem and others. Recent announcements regarding the proposed Mackenzie Valley pipeline and dramatically improved base-metal prices dictate that the area must now be viewed in an entirely new economic framework. Exploration technology and the understanding of the occurrence and genesis of carbonate-hosted deposits have also been advanced over the past 30 years, increasing the potential for new discoveries.

      Eagle Plains has secured tenure over some 7,500 square kms covering much of the area of past exploration activity, and has acquired public and proprietary data associated with millions of dollars of exploration work. Much of the work is being carried out within the Tulit’a District of Sahtu lands as well as Gwich’in First Nations lands.

      On June 15th 2007, Eagle Plains announced that it had entered into an agreement with Teck Cominco Ltd. whereby the two companies would form a strategic alliance to explore for minerals in the Mackenzie Mountain area. The Bronco project is excluded from this agreement and remains 100% owned by Eagle Plains with no underlying royalties or encumbrances.

      Eagle Plains Resources continues to conduct research, acquire and explore metal projects in western Canada and is committed to continuously work with First Nations, stakeholder groups and local communities in the development of its exploration projects. The Company controls over 35 gold, base-metal and uranium projects, many with third parties including Teck Cominco Ltd. (TSE:TCK), Alexco Resource Corp. (TSX-V:AXR), Wellstar Energy Corp. (TSX-V:WST), Sandstorm Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:SSL.P), Mountain Capital Inc (TSX-V:MCI.P), Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (TSX-V:BSK) and XO Gold Resources Ltd. These agreements expose Eagle Plains to over $27.0 million in exploration expenditures over a five year period. In recent years, Eagle Plains has completed option agreements with Billiton Metals, Rio Algom Exploration, NovaGold Resources, Kennecott Exploration and numerous other junior exploration companies, resulting in over 47,000m (154,200’) of drilling and over $21,000,000 in exploration spending on its projects since 1998. Eagle Plains management anticipates approximately $6,000,000 in expenditures on its projects in 2008, funded equally between Eagle Plains and third party partners.

      First of all I want to say that this exploration company (35 projects!) has enough money for exploring the next three years without a problem. So they are not at all desperately seeking for cash !

      Now look at todays facts :

      Current price : 0,305 CAD on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
      (as all "junior" mining company's, the last months the stock prices went down)

      News out now :
      http://www.eagleplains.ca/08.05.07TCL_EPL_MVZP.asp" target="_blank" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.eagleplains.ca/08.05.07TCL_EPL_MVZP.asp

      One of the mentioned items :
      " Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (“Eagle Plains”) (EPL:TSX-V) and Teck Cominco Limited (“Teck Cominco”) (TCK.B:TSX) have amended the terms of their Strategic Alliance to explore for base-metals (zinc, lead, copper, silver) in the Mackenzie Mountain area of western NWT (see EPL news release June 15th, 2007). Under the revised terms of the Strategic Alliance agreement, Teck Cominco has agreed to fund the 2008 exploration program by completing a private placement financing to purchase $2,000,000 of Eagle Plains Resources common shares at $0.65 per share. 0,65$ :laugh::laugh: -It's an interesting difference. :cool:

      If you like the multiplicity(?) of Projects,
      I think you should absolute! take a look at
      "Golden Arrow Resources", too.

      A few projects more(40!), therefor no Resources yet
      -and a Marketcap a little bit lower.

      I like Eagle Plains very much. :cool:
