wenns kein anderer machen sollte,
"Significant uranium assay results from recent RC drilling at the Liberator prospect within the Shoobridge (NT) project include:
- 3m @ 6.05% (133 lb/t ) U3O8 from 39m including 1m @ 18.1% (399 lb/t) U3O8 from 40m
-6m@ 1.34% (29 lb/t) U3O8 from 19m including 1m @ 4.99% (110 lb/t) U3O8 from 21m
Mineralogy comprises uraninite (pitchblende uranium oxide) and torbernite (copper uranium phosphate)
Diversified mining and exploration company Haddington Resources Ltd (ASX:HDN) is pleased to announce better than expected uranium findings at Liberator on its Shoobridge project, located 200 km south of Darwin and comprising eight granted tenements totalling approximately 345 km2.
Haddington Managing Director Colin McCavana said, Haddington is extremely excited by the potential of the Liberator Prospect and surrounding Shoobridge Project to host high grade uranium resources for future development.
The results, including 1m at 18.1% U3O8 from 40m, are truly spectacular, possibly the best reported in Australia for decades, Mr McCavana said.
In December 2007, Haddington completed its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program (18 holes for 920m) at the Liberator uranium prospect, which forms part of the Shoobridge project. Spectrometer measurements from the RC drill cuttings indicated two significant zones of uranium mineralization, each of approximately 3m downhole length.
Chemical analysis of the drill cuttings confirmed high grade uranium mineralisation with 3m @ 6.05% U3O8 from 39m, including 1m @ 18.1% U3O8 from 40m."

Das wünsch ich mir demnächst mal auf 100m,
OK man wird ja wohl mal träumen dürfen.

Also ich hatte sie eigentlich wegen was ganz anderem im Visier,
sehr breit aufgestellt, "vertically integrated"
und es werden schon Cashflows erzielt

"About Us
Formerly a successful mine operator producing up to 5% of world tantalite raw materials the Company has also built up a prospective portfolio of mineral tenements in Australia. The downturn in the tantalite market has seen the Company look to other opportunities in the mineral sector as we continue to seek to grow the Company through discovery, acquisition, development and operation of productive mineral resource projects.
Since the closure of tantalite production at its Bald Hill mine, the Company has been pursuing an active growth strategy based on exploration of its mineral properties and examination of new acquisition opportunities.
This approach has proven to be successful: Haddington recently announced new uranium targets at the Shoobridge project which are currently being reviewed by our geologists and will be followed up with an appropriate exploration program.
The Company is also in the process of carrying out a pre-feasibility study on its Balline industrial garnet deposit near Kalbarri in Western Australia. It is adjacent to one of the world’s largest mining and processing facilities for industrial garnet. Historic exploration indicated significant quantities and grades of heavy mineral and recent drilling by the Company has verified the previous work.
In 2007, Haddington announced the acquisition of all of the issued shares of Minvest International Corporation, an unlisted diversified services and minerals group with operations in Australia, Indonesia and Madagascar.
Minvest has a large portfolio of mineral projects and provides a range of mining services. It has significant international experience and expertise and has a successful track record in all facets of resource exploration and mining, including the discovery and development of a number of medium and large scale coal mines in Indonesia.
Minvest has an option over the Muara Uya Coal Project in Indonesia where the Company intends to immediately move to resource definition drilling ahead of a pre-feasibility study for a possible mine development.
Minvest’s portfolio of mineral assets, together with Haddington’s existing portfolio of mineral assets, provides the Company with a large inventory of exploration projects across a range of commodities and establishes a new direction for the Company’s exploration efforts.
Haddington has an outstanding opportunity, through the combined large and diverse mineral exploration portfolio and the re-establishment of substantial cash flow, to emulate its previous success as a miner.
Corporate Objective
Our Principal Corporate Objective is to create shareholder value through discovery, acquisition, development and operation of productive mineral resource projects.
The Company’s Development Strategy is focussed on the following key points;
Becoming a producer of coal and garnet in medium term and uranium in the future;
* Developing mineral targets in our existing
tenement portfolio;
* Continuing to build resources and reserves;
* Acquiring or developing new mineral production projects;
* Completing the acquisition of the Minvest Group
of Companies."

"GOING FORWARD
-Targeting >10m tonnes @ ~57% iron at KLM Mesa – Shoobridge.
-Moving ahead with the pre-feasibility study including further drilling, metallurgical testing on the Balline garnet deposit to establish its viability.
-Targeting ~1.5m tonnes per annum coal production at the Tabalong Coal Project in Indonesia
-Growing our services business through modernisation and the acquisition of additional equipment to enable new contracts to be won."
" Balline
In June 2006 Haddington Resources Ltd through its subsidiary company Australian Garnet Pty Ltd entered into an agreement with Tyson Resources Pty Ltd, William Hitch and Karl Wolzak for the right to explore for and evaluate heavy mineral (HM) resources within the project area.
The project is located between Kalbarri and Port Gregory, approximately 20 km south of Kalbarri in Western Australia.
The Balline prospect lies on the western margin of the Northampton Block and forms part of the Perth Basin. HM-enriched sands occur in beach placer strandlines within the project area. The Balline HM deposits are near-surface Cainozoic deposits of heavy mineral sands within garnet, ilmenite, zircon and leucoxene-bearing strandlines. Previous explorers estimated a resource of 94 Mt@ 5.33% heavy mineral content (non JORC compliant).
Haddington will focus on establishing the viability of a small alluvial garnet mining operation. Initial activity will involve verification of previous exploration and resource definition drilling.
-Immediately adjacent to the world’s largest mining and processing facility for industrial garnet.
-$32 million of industrial garnet exports from the area in 2005/06.
-Resource drilling, metallurgical testing and marketing studies underway.
-Opportunity to utilize the Bald Hill tantalite processing plant.
-A garnet mine at Balline would strengthen the Company’s cash flow stream and make use of 100% owned plant and infrastructure."

"Shoobridge
The Shoobridge Project is located approximately 160km south southeast of Darwin; approximately 19km west northwest of Hayes Creek. Eight granted tenements covering approximately 345 sq km have potential for uranium, tantalum, gold, iron and base metal mineralization.
This project was purchased from private interests in April 2006. Previous operators eg. Dominion Mining, Carpentaria/MIM, Julia have predominantly explored for gold and tantalum in the project area.
Literature review during the Northern Territory ‘wet season’ has identified a number of significant uranium targets at the Liberator prospect. Sampling of costeans returned values up to 19m @ 0.12% U3O8, 9m @ 0.18%U308 and 8m@ 0.036%U3O8 and appear to correlate to airborne radiometric anomalies.
The exploration strategy will involve systematic geochemical sampling and ground mapping to define potential drill targets.
Unconformity and vein type uranium mineralization is considered a prospective target in this region, with small vein-type mines located at Adelaide River, George Creek and Fleur de Lys.
Evidence of iron mineralization at KLM Mesa and the Two Bobs prospects, with rock chips up to 67.3%Fe, is also a focus of the forthcoming exploration program as the area is considered prospective for small high grade iron deposits similar to the Frances Creek iron field. Historical reports by United Uranium NL in 1967 states that the KLM Mesa prospect contains an estimated 18.75 million tonnes of 50.76% Fe (not JORC compliant, reconnaissance sampling only).
Numerous gold/basemetal targets that have been generated from the literature review will also be investigated in the coming field season.
Drilling to commence in December on significant uranium targets identified via previous costeaning"

"Pilbara
The Pilbara Project consists of seven target areas with historical tantalite and tin production.
Ten Exploration Licences totaling over 610 sq km comprise the project with two granted tenements E45/2287 and E45/2312. The initial focus of the region was the Pilgangoora tenement E45/2287 where anomalous rock chip and soil samples up to 390ppm Ta were returned with a number of results in excess of 50 ppm Ta.
Haddington’s immediate strategy in the Pilbara is to assess Pilgangoora E45/2287 and E45/2312 Woodstock for all mineral commodities as well as hard rock pegmatite resources. A swarm of pegmatite veins run parallel to the granite contact with the greenstones of the Warrona Group. This tenement covers the western alluvial covered portion of the field with significant quantities of alluvial/eluvial tantalite and tin previously mined from these narrow pegmatites. The potential for other commodities (iron, gold and basemetals) within the greenstone terranes will be addressed by first pass mapping and geological sampling.
The work program for the Pilbara district will involve generative programs for multi commodities within E45/2287 and E45/2312. Desktop studies and data review will also be undertaken for all applications with data compiled into GIS format."
