      http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=47692983

BMW of North America has launched a new national campaign made up of TV, print, online and radio ads designed to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. The campaign, which carries the theme ‘DON’T TXT & DRIVE – When the Engine Starts the Texting Stops’ starts early this month and will run throughout the end of this year.

“Distracted driving of any kind, especially texting while driving, is an extremely dangerous activity that costs thousands of lives every year,” said Jim O’Donnell, CEO, BMW of North America. “We developed this campaign to be impactful in hopes of evoking emotion and conveying the serious dangers of distracted driving and its potential consequences.”

And now a message from a happy Ray LaHood:

“Distracted driving is an epidemic in America, and it has deadly consequences for thousands of people on our roads each year,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. “Putting a stop to these needless deaths, as well as hundreds of thousands of injuries, will require everyone to take personal responsibility for safe driving. I am grateful to BMW for their efforts to raise public awareness about distracted driving and for urging drivers to put down their phones and focus on the road. I hope that other automakers will follow their lead.”

PhoneGuard Lights Up the Internet and Traditional Media During First Full Week of PhoneGuard Campaign

Options Mda Grp Hldgs (QB) (USOTC:OPMG)
      Intraday Stock Chart
      Today : Tuesday 26 July 2011

PhoneGuard, Inc., a leading provider of mobile application software and subsidiary of Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: OPMG) (PINKSHEETS: OPMG), announces its strong successes during its first full week of marketing its Drive Safe™ responsible texting application in conjunction with two-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Justin Bieber. PhoneGuard's Drive Safe phone application disables the texting, e-mailing and keyboard functions of the mobile phone while in a vehicle moving faster than 10 miles per hour. PhoneGuard and Justin Bieber have joined forces with the Remember Alex Brown Foundation to create a dialogue with teens and their parents to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving.

Last week's Drive Safe™ product launch information and product videos featuring Justin Bieber reached well more than 100 million digital unique visitors and millions of additional broadcast viewers within the first four days alone. The week was highlighted by the appearance of two of the campaign images, featuring Justin and the family of Alex Brown, receiving multiple airings on the largest digital sign in the world in New York's Times Square. While final numbers have not yet been tallied, the overall campaign received thousands of social media mentions and hundreds of blog pickups including influential blogs such as The Huffington Post, Perez Hilton, Star Pulse, BuzzFeed, and many others. The campaign also fared very well with more traditional news and media sources such as E! News, The BBC, Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Music News, among others.

Scott Frohman, CEO of Options Media Group, commented, "To say the least we have been very pleased with the buzz we have begun to create relative to this campaign. We were especially excited to see two of the campaign images showcased in Times Square, which receives more than 1.5 million visitors each day and the many new Facebook Fans and Twitter followers that signed up after visiting our new sites. While the statistics are impressive, the most impressive statistic of all was the number of hits we received on our website and the number of downloads that occurred. While all of this is very exciting everyone should know that this campaign is just in its very early stages. Over the coming weeks we look forward to announcing several blockbuster promotions that are planned for later this summer and for the early part of autumn."

Mr. Frohman continued, "The large amount of publicity and the significant number of sign ups we have realized thus far play well into our revenue model of providing a scaled down version of the product for free and then upgrading customers to the paid version that contains the new product suite which includes enhanced features that we plan to announce over the coming weeks. We plan to aggressively turn these sign ups into a strong and growing revenue stream."

Available for BlackBerry and Android smart phones, the Drive Safe™ application enables global positioning satellite (GPS) tracking to calculate the speed of travel while a vehicle is in motion. Once vehicle speed reaches 10 miles per hour, the Drive Safe™ application locks the phone's keyboard, preventing the user from emailing, surfing the web or texting while driving. Other Drive Safe™ features include an Auto-Reply button, a pre-set response that is automatically delivered to the texter or caller and reads I am driving and will contact you when I reach my destination; a Request Permission button that allows users to request permission from the administrator to have functionality of the mobile phone; and an Admin Override button, allowing the administrator to type in a set password to override PhoneGuard's System Settings so that specific mobile functions can be utilized. For example, if a child is riding the bus, Drive Safe™ will know he or she is in a moving vehicle and will disable the phone. The child will then hit Request Permission, which sends a text message to the administrator. The administrator can then text "yes" back to the disabled phone, unlocking the phone for 15 minutes. After this time limit, the keyboard will be disabled again.

PhoneGuard and Justin Bieber developed Drive Safe™ as a simpler and free version of a larger application suite. Their hope is to make Drive Safe™ accessible to as many drivers as possible.

For more information regarding PhoneGuard's Drive Safe™ responsible texting application, as well as Justin Bieber's joint campaign, visit www. PhoneGuard.com, www.facebook.com/PhoneGuard or on Twitter at @Phone_Guard.

PhoneGuard Discusses Strategic Marketing Plan -- Plans September Events Culminating in Premium Mobile Billing Beginning in Ea...

Options Mda Grp Hldgs (QB) (USOTC:OPMG)
      Intraday Stock Chart
      Today : Tuesday 23 August 2011

PhoneGuard, Inc., a subsidiary of Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: OPMG) (OTCQB: OPMG), a leading provider of mobile applications software, begins unveiling its long-term strategic plan for marketing its Drive Safe™ and responsible texting product line in conjunction with a host of new applications that will be available within the product suite. The Company plans to make use of Premium Mobile Billing beginning in early October in order to allow its customers the convenience of paying for PhoneGuard Pro for one low monthly rate billed directly to the customer's mobile phone bill.

Beginning in September, PhoneGuard plans an aggressive rollout and promotion of its new PhoneGuard Pro product in conjunction with singer/songwriter Justin Bieber. The very successful sign up program and drawing for a signed Justin Bieber tour jacket will close on September 15th with the lucky winner being announced on September 30. Over the coming months additional promotions will include text messages to PhoneGuard users from Justin and a grand prize of a trip aboard a private jet to attend one of Justin's U.S. concert performances.

Justin Bieber commented, "This is a cause that's really important to me, and I know affects a lot of my fans. That's why I decided to work with PhoneGuard, because we share the same vision and goal. It's simple: text responsibly." Justin and PhoneGuard recently announced the launch of a campaign dedicated to encouraging responsible texting, through the use of PhoneGuard's acclaimed Drive Safe™ software application, which disables the texting, emailing and keyboard functions of a mobile phone while in a vehicle moving faster than 10 miles per hour. Justin and PhoneGuard (www.PhoneGuard.com) are working closely with the Remember Alex Brown Foundation, organized by the family of teenager Alex Brown who tragically lost her life because of texting and driving.

The new PhoneGuard Pro products suite will include a host of safety and convenience-oriented applications that will significantly enhance the user's smart phone experience including: 1) GeoFencing, which will allow the phone's administrator to select geographic boundaries and receive a text message if the phone strays outside of the boundaries, 2) Panic Button, which is a preselected and programmed emergency call function that is activated by the user simply hitting one key, 3) Speed Control enables the phone's administrator to receive text message alerts showing the location and speed of the user's mobile phone, 4) Locator, which allows easy GPS tracking of a lost or misplace handset, and 5) Auto-Reply, which allows users to set up customized responses that will automatically be sent to those who send text messages to the user while the phone is in motion. The new PhoneGuard Pro will also contain a set of robust administrative tools, such as Administrator Override that lets the administrator allow full use of the mobile phone at all times and Request Permission, which allows a family member or employee to request permission from the administrator to use the mobile phone even while it is in motion.

Mr. Keith St. Clair, Chairman of PhoneGuard, commented, "We believe we have designed PhoneGuard to be a unique and highly functional product offering. We wanted to make the product offering accessible to the youth market so we have decided to begin offering a Premium Mobile Billing option in early October. In order to download PhoneGuard Pro to a phone the customer will simply send a text message to our short code number and download the product suite. Then each month the customer will receive a small charge on their cellular bill. With Premium Mobile Billing there are no credit cards needed and the customer is always in control."

Mr. St. Clair continued, "We believe the new PhoneGuard Pro product suite will have a big impact in the marketplace and will not only save lives due to limiting distracted driving, but it will also meaningfully enhance the smart phone user experience for our customers. For example, we are especially excited about the advanced functionality we have integrated into our Panic Button feature that will allow the user to not only dial any preprogram emergency number, but to also automatically send a Google maps location fix directly to the phone's administrator. This unique feature will offer unparalleled safety, security, and peace of mind for users of PhoneGuard Pro and we believe will be especially popular with parents."

Available for BlackBerry and Android smart phones, with iPhone development now complete and a review from Apple, Inc. pending, the Drive Safe application enables global positioning satellite (GPS) tracking to calculate the speed of travel while a vehicle is in motion. Once vehicle speed reaches 10 miles per hour, the Drive Safe application locks the phone's keyboard, preventing the user from emailing, surfing the web or texting while driving. For example, if a child is riding the bus, Drive Safe will know he or she is in a moving vehicle and will disable the phone.

Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: OPMG) (PINKSHEETS: OPMG) announces that its Drive Safe™ application is now available for Apple's iPhone and can be downloaded in the iPhone App Store. Also available for Blackberry and Android smart phones, the Drive Safe™ application enables global positioning satellite (GPS) tracking to calculate the speed of travel while a vehicle is in motion. Once vehicle speed reaches 10 miles per hour, the Drive Safe™ application locks the phone's keyboard, preventing the user from emailing, surfing the web or texting while driving.

Dominating the smart phone market, Apple's iPhone was purchased by more than 30 million consumers in 2010 and industry studies anticipate another 65 million iPhones will be sold in 2011.

"The Blackberry and Andriod Drive Safe™ applications are working robustly as the PhoneGuard team has dedicated extensive time to stress testing the software and back-end systems to ensure a quality user experience," PhoneGuard CEO Scott Frohman commented. "I am proud to say Drive Safe™ is now available to iPhone users, making responsible texting a reality for millions more."

The PhoneGuard Drive Safe™ FREE iPhone application gently reminds users to not text while driving and it allows users to make emergency calls to predefined admin phone numbers. The application also displays vehicle speed and communicates to the admin phone to request overrides. The PhoneGuard Drive Safe™ FREE iPhone application works with the built in iPhone location services. The PhoneGuard Drive Safe™ FREE application for Blackberry and Android phones enable global positioning satellite (GPS) tracking to calculate the speed of travel while a vehicle is in motion. Once vehicle speed reaches 10 miles per hour, the Drive Safe™ application locks the phone's keyboard, preventing the user from emailing, surfing the web or texting while driving. Other Drive Safe™ features include an Auto-Reply button, a pre-set response that is automatically delivered to the texter or caller and reads "I am driving and will contact you when I reach my destination"; a Request Permission button that allows users to request permission from the administrator to have functionality of the mobile phone; and an Admin Override button, allowing the administrator to type in a set password to override PhoneGuard's system settings so that specific mobile functions can be utilized. For example, if a child is riding the bus, DriveSafe™ will know he or she is in a moving vehicle and will disable the phone. The child will then hit Request Permission, which sends a text message to the administrator or parent. The parent can then text "yes" back to the disabled phone, unlocking the phone for 15 minutes. After this time limit, the keyboard will be disabled again.

PhoneGuard spokesman and two-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Justin Bieber believes this news is another great step in advocating responsible texting, "I'm excited that Drive Safe™ is available for iPhone since there are so many iPhone users today. This is a huge step in reaching and protecting millions of drivers on the road."

PhoneGuard and Justin Bieber developed the Drive Safe™ application as a simpler free version of a larger application suite. The PhoneGuard's Drive Safe™ Pro paid product suite, launching October 2011, includes a host of safety and convenience-oriented applications that will significantly enhance the user's smart phone experience including: GeoFencing, which will allow the phone's administrator to select geographic boundaries and receive a text message if the phone strays outside of the boundaries; Panic Button, a preselected and programmed emergency call function that is activated by simply hitting one key; Speed Control, which enables the phone's administrator to receive text message alerts showing the location and speed of the user's mobile phone; Locator, which allows easy GPS tracking of a lost or misplaced handset; and Auto-Reply, which allows users to set up customized responses that will automatically be sent to those who send text messages to the user while the phone is in motion. The PhoneGuard's Drive Safe™ Pro will also contain a set of robust administrative tools, such as Administrator Override that lets the administrator allow full use of the mobile phone at all times and Request Permission, which allows a family member or employee to request permission from the administrator to use the mobile phone even while it is in motion. By adding the iPhone to its list of providers, PhoneGuard, Inc. hopes to make Drive Safe™ accessible to as many drivers as possible.

Update on PhoneGuard (Options Media Group) – OPMG

Update on PhoneGuard (Options Media Group) – OPMG

What we are Expecting Next Week at CTIA – Revenue Recognition Stage Likely Begins Next Week – Lots of News Following

One of the largest trade shows in the wireless industry takes place next week in San Diego, California. It is called CTIA (Cellular Telephone Industry Association) and it runs from Monday through Thursday. Many companies within the wireless industry make major announcements at CTIA, and I suspect this will be the case for PhoneGuard.

After several months of investors waiting for the Company to move into revenue production, it appears this event is now close at hand – likely being announced next week at CTIA.

The Company has been rather quiet about exactly what they will announce at CTIA, but here’s my take on the situation.

      - Development finished on the main teen-oriented product and website – It looks like the Company has completed all of the development in order to roll out revenue recognition for the teen product that is being backed by Justin Bieber. Expect PhoneGuard to unveil pricing next week and make the website active with order processing and revenue recognition also beginning next week. This will likely be a “Lite” version of the overall PhoneGuard product suite, which will include the anti-texting while driving technology, panic button alarm, and customized auto replies.

      - New Bieber Video – About a month ago, PhoneGuard management worked directly with the Bieber group to produce some additional videos. If you viewed the first set of videos you likely would have noticed that they were very short, but to the point. We are expecting the second set of videos to be completely different. What we are hearing is that the videos are a longer format with lots of different actors, cars driving around, and Justin thoroughly explain the product. The videos were purposely designed in a format that could go viral on the Internet. We expect these videos to hit the Internet over the next couple weeks in support of the availability of the teen product. Hoping to see another run in the stock price as a result.

      - Justin Bieber Tour Jacket Promotion – An announcement on the tour jacket winner is pending and should occur over the short term

      - Outline of New Branding Strategy – While the PhoneGuard management team has not discussed this much at all, they have hired one of the top branding firms in the technology space to design a completely new branding strategy for the PhoneGuard products. We expect this to be unveiled next week at a news conference at CTIA. We have seen some preliminary drafts and feel the work is impressive.

      - Unveiling of Parental and Enterprise Products – Management has hinted at this a little bit, but it appears the strategy moving forward is to segment the market three ways – Teens, Parents and Enterprise Customers. We believe it is likely the Company will discuss this market segmentation strategy at the press conference at CTIA. We expect them to also outline in detail the feature/function set for the product lines. Look for a few new features to be added to the products.

      - Further Info on Retail Product and Aon Relationship – While it is unclear if this information will come out at CTIA or will be held for release shortly thereafter, we are expecting PhoneGuard to make some additional retail distribution announcements and to expand on its already potentially significant enterprise-oriented relationship with Aon, which is one of the world’s leading providers of risk management solutions (insurance).

      - Bottom Line here is that everyone should expect a lot of news over the coming couple of weeks – revenue recognition, teen product, Bieber promotions, some additional potentially viral videos, unveiling of the brand strategy, and introduction of the parent and enterprise oriented products. Most important of these, of course, is the likely announcement next week that revenue recognition has begun.

Options Media sollte versuchen einen "sing-guard" auf den Markt zu bringen, damit uns das Geträller vom Justin nicht mehr auf den Sack geht!
