...nachdem ich die Aktie 5 Jahre nicht mehr angeschaut hatte, habe ich beschlossen sie aus meinem Testportfolio ins Anlageportfolio umzuschlüsseln;

vielleicht gucke ich dann öfter rein.


Andererseits hat der Kurs auch nicht wirklich große Sprünge gemacht und die Aktie ist nicht teuer.

IIVI fiel mir auch schon vor vielen Jahren positiv auf, wenngleich sie für mich nicht ein absoluter Topp-Wert ist.
Umsatzwachstum ist beeindruckend, allerdings Margendruck in den letzten Jahren, Gewinn stagnierte nur noch.




Vielleicht hast du Interesse auch bei uns mitzudiskutieren, wir sind auch ziemlich in Qualitäts-US-Nebenwerten aktiv.

werde mal reinschauen.


Bei II-VI habe ich zur Selbstmotivation mal einen straddle aufgemacht:

zu Jan'16 einen gedeckten (gekauft für 18,75) short-call mit strike 20$ und einen short-put mit $17,50

beide haben 90c Prämie gebracht, so dass das eingesetzte Kapital je Kontrakt

1.875+1.750-180=3.445 beträgt


steht der Kurs in einem halben Jahr >20, dann habe ich 3.750$ = 8,9% Rendite

steht er unter 17,50 habe ich für 17,23 gekauft, also 8,1% Rabatt auf die 18,75 von heute

Ich bin seit ein paar Wochen mit einer "Antest"-Position dabei. Werde aufgrund des 1. sehr stabilen Charts und 2. dieser Meldung (Markierung von mir) meine Position auf das 5-10 fache ausbauen. Rechne mit mindestens einen Kursverdoppler bis Ende 2017, Mitte 2018

SAXONBURG, Pa. (AP) _ II-VI Inc. (IIVI) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $23.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Saxonburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of 37 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 49 cents per share.

For the year, the company reported profit of $95.3 million, or $1.48 per share. Revenue was reported as $972 million. For the current quarter ending in October, II-VI said it expects revenue in the range of $250 million to $260 million. II-VI shares have risen 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 72 percent in the last 12 months.

Das 50er Retracement hat nun zum 2. mal gehalten. Spekulativ bin ich da nochmal rein, wirklich aufdrängen tut es sich aber eigentlich erst beim Bruch des Abwärtstrendes.
Langfristig sind die Aussichten glänzend, Optoelektonik ist ein kommender Megatrend.

Barclays sieht Gegenwind für 3 D Sensorik und hat II-VI Inc auf Underweight mit Kursziel $ 56 herabgestuft, die gestern direkt erreicht wurden.

Die Zusammenarbeit mit Apple seit 2017 und deren Bereitstellung ihres Funds über $ 400 Mio. sprechen doch eigentlich total für II-VI, oder? Das Vertrauen von Apple ist da. Aber anscheinend wirkt noch die Übernahme von Coherent und der damit verbundene hohe Kaufpreis nach.

Überlege demnächst mit einer Tranche einzusteigen, auch wenn der Chart natürlich angeschlagen ist. Was meint ihr?
