Verint Closes Acquisition of ECtel`s Communications Interception Business

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2004--Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT - News), a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for communications interception, networked video security and surveillance, and business intelligence, today announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of certain assets and liabilities comprising ECtel Ltd.`s communications interception business (NASDAQ: ECTX - News).
