Also Schlusskurs abwarten? Aber dann kann ich die Aktie ja nicht mehr handeln
Was meint Ihr?
Danke für Antworten,
Willy

Cisco Systems rises ahead of report
By Chris Kraeuter, CBS.MarketWatch.com
Last Update: 1:07 PM ET May 11, 2004
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Cisco Systems is expected to post strong fiscal third-quarter earnings and revenue growth from the same period last year as the world`s largest manufacturer of networking equipment benefits from improved technology spending by corporations.
Investors will be particularly keyed into comments from Chief Executive John Chambers regarding the confidence of his global customer base. Ahead of the report, scheduled for after Tuesday`s closing bell, shares (CSCO: news, chart, profile) rose 2.4 percent to $22.14.
During his comments to investors in February, Chambers expressed growing optimism, but warned that customers still seemed cautious regarding capital expenditures and hiring.
Consequently, shares of the San Jose, Calif.-based company slipped through the quarter to a six-month low two weeks ago.
Analysts expect earnings of 18 cents a share and sales of $5.55 billion, on average, according to Thomson First Call. During the same quarter last year, Cisco earned 14 cents a share on sales of $4.62 billion.
In February, Cisco predicted sales between $5.45 billion and $5.56 billion and gross margins between 67 and 69 percent.
Shares have slid since then, however, as investors expected more robust growth from Cisco; on a sequential basis, Cisco`s sales targets represented growth between 1 and 3 percent.
Cisco makes routers and switches used to move information across the Internet. Its customers include phone companies, businesses, governments and Internet companies.
Shares have dropped 10 percent since the year`s start and 24 percent from a mid-January peak of $29.13.
"Many investors may be underestimating the growth potential in the trends toward taking share from other players` installed base and consolidating its hold on the market," analyst Steve Kamman with CIBC World Markets said in a research note Monday.
He said the company could exceed the high end of its revenue target and that share repurchases and operating leverage could help it surpass Wall Street`s consensus earnings target.
"We expect steady growth for a number of quarters as Cisco consolidates its market position," Kamman said.
