So gut wie jetzt hat Rambus noch nie dagestanden. Die Patente haben vor einem der profiliertestem Patentrichter (wenn man dem glauben darf) zu 100 % standgehalten.
Aber das Gezocke trifft im Moment auf fruchtbaren Boden, Unsicherheit, Angst, Gerüchte und, und, und.
Nicht dass mir der Kursrückgang ausgerechnet nach dem Ereignis, auf das alle jahrelang gewartet haben, nicht auf den Senkel geht. Aber er ändert nichts an den Fakten. Das nächste Problem könnten komme, wenn Micron es schafft, dass Rambus Mitte Mai die Dokumente nicht veröffentlichen kann. Aber die Latte dafür, das zu verhindern, ist mit dem Urteil auch höher gelegt worden.
Ab 30 $ würde bei mir das Überlegen wieder losgehen müssen. Die sehe ich aber noch nicht. Genau so gut können die gleichen Zocker, den Kurs dann wieder hochtreiben und verdienen. Ich bleibe dabei: ein scheiß Geschäft, aber eben völlig legal.

We have settled with IFX, we have beaten Hynix twice, been awarded 307 million dollars(Just the tip of the iceberg), signed AMD, signed IBM, got the hell out of that scumbag's courtroom of Payne's, IFX has plead guilty to the DOJ, Hynix has plead guilty to the DOJ, Sammy has plead guilty to the DOJ, XDR is being built, continued to turn a profit, built our cash position and I sure a few other details I have missed. for all of that we are $5.00 fricken dollars higher???

Go buy some more Rambus and take advantage of the facts that you have. This price will not last long.

HONG KONG -(Dow Jones)- South Korea's Hynix Semiconductor Inc. (000660.SE) said Tuesday it "regrets" Rambus Inc.'s (RMBS) win in a patent infringement case against the company and added it plans to continue to defend itself.
"We regret this particular outcome but we will do our best to prove that we didn't infringe on their patents in the next more important trial," said Hyun Park, a spokesman at the South Korean memory-chip maker.
Rambus said Monday that a California jury found Hynix infringed on all 10 of Rambus's patent claims. The jury awarded damages of $306.5 million, which Rambus said represents compensation only for Hynix SDRAM, DDR SDRAM and DDR2 memory products sold in the U.S. between 2000 and the end of 2005.
The news sent shares of Hynix sharply lower in Tuesday trading. At 0134 GMT, Hynix shares were down 1.9%, underperforming the broader market's 0.6% rise. Earlier, the stock fell as much as 3.2%.
Rambus's courtroom drama dates back to August 2000, when Hynix and U.S.-based Micron Technology Inc. (MU) separately sued Rambus within days of each other. Both companies argued Rambus's patents for memory chips were invalid. Rambus quickly countersued, claiming the companies infringed on its patents that speed up memory.
During the first quarter, Hynix set aside a provision of $100 million to account for its patent infringement cases with various companies including Rambus. Due to the provision, the company said its first-quarter net profit fell 8.6% from a year earlier to KRW289.4 billion.
"It (the ruling) certainly isn't positive news for Hynix but as Hynix has set aside a provision, shares should see more upside in the long-term with improving industry circumstances," said Lee Sun-Tae, an analyst at Meritz Securities in Seoul.
Hynix is the world's second largest maker of dynamic random access memory, or DRAM, chips widely used in personal computers after Samsung Electronics Co. ( 005930.SE), which Rambus also has sued.
Proceedings in the final phase of the Rambus-Hynix legal battle are expected to begin this summer. The court will address certain Hynix counterclaims including the enforcement of Rambus patents.

jedem trend folgt ein gegentrend. und bei rambus braucht es news um aktuell weiter voranzukommen, ansonsten bleibts spielball der zocker...
