We should focus on QSC and the dubious communication of the Investor Relation department. Since more than 2 and a half year we are waiting for promises, new business cases and more.

I think its not fair, that hans and others claim now the disapointed shareholders. You should critises the cause. And the cause is in this case the strategy of qsc or how they used to call there business acting. Always think on cause and effect. This forum only reflects the effect, nothing more.

And I think our constructive critique is more than helpful and true, even when some shareholders play dirty.

Hans, you should relax and dismiss some postings.

It would be very helpfull, when we stay close and act like this on the HV.

Hello Hans,

thank you very much for your writing. I feel much the same as you. I also have tried in the past to recommand for a better speech-tone, but in fact it seems quite hard to realise. Especially in front of guys like this infamous Panjo - in German you name such a guy Brandstifter.
I also agree with your opinion concerning the user Dale - a very dubious guy too.

Enough = enough. And with that I mean the very offensive comments/threats which have not stopped lately and found another summit today with postings from Toelzer and Benson. And as always a suggestive nasty picture from this Panjo person.
I’ve decided I do not want to be associated with this forum in any way any more.
Too bad for (most) good-willing shareholders, but this has become a place where some people endlessly ventilate their personal frustration with (for me) totally unacceptable wording.

Which side are you on Toelzer and Benson? Who is paying you to scare shareholders off? Panjo, what’s your motivation/position? Sometimes your pictures are funny, but mostly offending and serving no useful purpose.
Isn’t it time to please some other forum/share?

And what is all the frustration about? Look at the figures:





How many pre-dotcom IT/datacom companies can present these kind of figures??
How many of them are still in business in the first place??

And those who still dream about getting their IPO prices back : dream on, these were different times. Accept that you have invested in a bubble. And that you are in good company. How many billions have gone into thin air?
Take it from where we are now. Don’t cry over spoilt milk or you’ll live in frustration the rest of your life. Either you believe in what’s ahead and hang on in a positive way, or cut your losses , sell your frustration and do something positive with your life.

Qsc will get a proper valuation. Not on their own. Impossible in the long term. There is something in the making. BSE are no fools. They should have serious concerns about some of their market, notably the fast decline of the dsl market. But there are alternatives and qsc is a lot more than just dsl. It’s the backbone dummy. Exchange dsl for fiber or cable or mobile internet or wll or cloud or whatever and it gets transported over the backbone/ngn. Dsl is only one of the terminating technologies. Will remain a cashcow for a number of years. No further investments, just send the invoices and collect the money. Wonderful business model !!1

Not everything is bright and shiny with qsc. There are definitely some open ends/white spots. I am not really pleased with the Vizonex and In-telegence proceedings. In-Telegence is fully checked and documented and should be legally/financially ok, but still.
Vizonex I’m not sure about. Was not documented because there were not financial transactions with qsc. But shouldn’t there have been any???. I’ll ask questions at the HV.
Even so, don’t make a case out of it : the value for Eickers/Schlobohm is ignorable in comparison with the potential value of the 10% qsc shares they each hold.

And what is ahead of us? Who bought the Salop shares? Who has been buying serious volumes recently for around 1.63? Looks like it’s harvest time for somebody. Concentration in whatever form is inevitable. Qsc remaining independent in this consolidation process? No, they’re playing ‘hard to get’ and can’t tell anything about negotiations that are by definition only started if there is agreement about absolute confidentiality.
I am tipping the UI/APAX/Versatel/Dommermuth combination. No evidence, just gut feeling.

Don’t be mislead by looking at profit or free cash flow. The typical Dale77 hobby-horse. Don’t trust this kind of persons with pseudo-scientific argumentation.
Qsc as a running concern will generate between 30-40 million cash in 2010. REAL cashflow in my definition. Even to be interpreted as net result of you ignore depreciation over past investments.

Qsc shares are being manipulated. Visible even for the blind. For what reason? Think for yourself ! Can you do something about it? Take advantage of artificially high or low share prices. That’s all. Forget about bafin or complain about manipulation. It’s part of the game. Occurs everywhere. If you can’t stand it, you’re in the wrong place and the stock market is simply not your thing.

My personal position : I hold a significant number of qsc shares, I’ve bought some extra shares in feb/march and will in principle hold on to them until the end-game. Whenever and whatever it is. With special attention and willingness to organize action in case there would be any foul play (ie some parties being compensated under the table). I have no indication of this, but have a traumatic experience with Apax.

I’ll send a copy of this posting to my contacts in qsc. and disappear from the forum.

nachtrag:
im gb. s.110 nr. 43 kannst du sehen, daß 8,680 m€ aktiviert sind... werden nur mit den passiven saldiert und der verbleibende passive überhang ausgewiesen....

klar geht das... die haben ja noch gar nicht alle möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft... es ginge noch ein stück weit aggresivere bilanzierung...

die verlängerung der abschreibungsdauern ist nicht zu kritisieren meine ich. ja wo fangen wir da an.

nein, natürlich nicht... ich persönlich würde als finanzvorstand der qsc noch längere nutzungsdauer (die wirtschaftlichen, nicht die steuerlichen) anwenden... (a) zeigt man bessere operaive ergebnisse und (b) sähe die ertragssituation auf extrapolierter basis erheblich besser aus... nur salami-taktik ist scheiße...
und man muss die effekte interpretieren können...

das würde mich wundern bisher stand im jeden jahresabschluss was drin... ist ja schließlich kein wahlrecht... es sei denn die rechnen in der zukunft weiter mit verlusten...
