      Ceo Baldock wird Executive Chairman, CFO Cathy Zhai CEO

      Monument Mining Limited (TSX VENTURE:MMY)(FRANKFURT:D7Q1) "Monument" or the "Company" is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has resolved to appoint Mr. Robert Baldock as Executive Chairman; Ms. Cathy Zhai as President and CEO.
      "I am very pleased to report the appointment of Cathy Zhai as the Company's President and CEO as the Company moves its multiple projects in Malaysia and Western Australia forward," remarks Robert Baldock, Executive Chairman of Monument Mining: "Cathy's long dedication to the Company and years of executive experience in all areas of management in the mining industry make her the right successor to lead Monument to the next chapter of growth and development."
      Mr. Robert Baldock is the founder of Monument and has invaluable all-round experience as a mining executive for decades. He had been CEO and President of Monument for more than 12 years from the very beginning, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors from time to time since 1998. Under his leadership, Monument has grown from ground zero to a junior gold producer with total gross revenue of more than US$350 million to date. Today, Monument has built up strong assets of US$253 million on its balance sheet. These assets have formed a foundation for further growth, including Selinsing Gold Mine in Malaysia with its initial gold inventory being fully replaced, and the Burnakura Gold Project presently being developed at the Murchison area in Western Australia, potentially to be turned into a second cash flow generation operation with both open pit and underground gold mines. Mr. Baldock has in the meantime established and maintained a strong management team highly committed to all shareholders and other stakeholders. His leadership as Executive Chairman will continue to direct the development strategy and growth of the Company going forward.
      Ms. Zhai had been the Chief Financial Officer at Monument Mining Limited since 2001 (formally Moncoa Corporation). Ms. Zhai has over 20 years of extensive experience at senior positions in business strategic planning, corporate finance, financial reporting and Corporate Secretary over mining operations and other business sectors with international exposure across North America, China, South-East Asia and Australia. She has participated in financing and development of Monument assets portfolio, and has been the main driver in the establishment of a control platform over financial and mining operations from initial stage with discipline and a "can-do" attitude. In her career, she has worked as CFO, Director of Finance and other senior roles with several public and private companies across mining, high tech, manufacturing sector and biotech industries. Ms. Zhai is a CPA-CGA and holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics.
      Other appointments include Mark Braghieri to General Manager Operations, and Kelvin Lee to act as the interim CFO.
      Mr. Braghieri has extensive mining industry experience in mine operations and development across gold, iron ore, nickel and other commodities. He has held General Management and senior roles in open pit and underground mines in a number of Australian and international mining and contracting companies, including Normandy Mining, KCGM, Thiess Contracting, Norton Gold Fields and Bullabulling Gold. Mr. Braghieri is experienced in feasibility studies, the construction and establishment of projects and operational management, and has been involved in two of the largest gold mines in Australia; the Kalgoorlie Super Pit and the Boddington Gold Mine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering, and a Masters of Business Administration.
      Ms. Zhai, CEO and President commented: "We welcome Mark Braghieri to join the management team. His strong project management expertise and operation disciplines would be very valuable in re-starting the Burnakura Gold Mine and completing the Selinsing Sulphide Gold Project."
      Mr. Lee is the Vice President, Finance and Administration of Monument since 2013. He is a CPA-CGA and holds a Diploma in accounting at BCIT and a Bachelor in Business Administration.

      Monument Mining arranges $7M (U.S.) Au forward sale

      2018-01-03 08:37 ET - News Release

      Ms. Cathy Zhai reports

      MONUMENT ANNOUNCES US$7 MILLION GOLD FORWARD SALE TRANSACTION

      Monument Mining Ltd. has effected a $7-million (U.S.) gold forward sale transaction by receipt of a $5-million (U.S.) prepayment, with a further $2-million (U.S.) to be received by March 31, 2018. The funds will be primarily used to finance the development of the company's gold projects and for general working capital. This transaction is non-dilutive to shareholders.

      Pursuant to the sale of gold agreement, the company's Australian subsidiary, Monument Murchison Pty. Ltd., shall deliver a total 8,676 ounces of gold to Concept Capital Management (CCM) over a 36-month period commencing on Dec. 29, 2018. In addition, on the same pro rata delivery terms, CCM has the option to purchase additional ounces of gold at 620 ounces per unit for $500,000 (U.S.) up to 2,480 ounces for a total $2-million (U.S.) to be prepaid to the seller by March 31, 2018. CCM is a long-term shareholder of the company, which in combination with other long-term shareholders provided a $13-million financing at the early stage of Selinsing gold mine development to complete Selinsing gold processing plant construction. The gold forward sale is guaranteed by the company and its Malaysian subsidiary, Able Return Sdn Bhd, and is secured by certain of the company's assets. The company has paid a 5 per cent financing fee to Axino Capital AG on the gold forward sale transactions upon receipt of the prepayment.

      In conjunction with the above transaction, the company continues to seek additional financing in order to place its Burnakura project into production in Western Australia. Upon success, this would potentially allow the company to generate a second source of cash flow from the Australian operations. The company is also in progress with the Selinsing sulphide gold project, aiming to place it into production.

      About Monument Mining Ltd.

      Monument Mining is an established Canadian gold producer that owns and operates the Selinsing gold mine in Malaysia. Its experienced management team is committed to growth and is advancing several exploration and development projects including the Mengapur polymetallic project, in Pahang state of Malaysia, and the Murchison gold projects comprising Burnakura, Gabanintha and Tuckanarra in the Murchison area of Western Australia. The company employs approximately 190 people in both regions and is committed to the highest standards of environmental management, social responsibility, and health and safety for its employees and neighbouring communities.

      Monument Mining appeals re Kuantan heard by court

      2018-01-24 08:36 ET - News Release

      Mr. Richard Cushing reports

      MONUMENT UPDATE ON LITIGATION

      Monument Mining Ltd.'s appeals against the striking out orders in relation to the Kuantan suit have been heard by the Court of Appeal; consequently, the Kuantan suit has now been reinstated.

      At closing of acquisition of the Selinsing Gold Project in June 2007, 100% of Selinsing Mining Sdn. Bhd. (the SMSB") shares were held in Trust for Monument's subsidiary Able Return Sdn. Bhd. ("ARSB") upon conditions set forth in the Sale and Purchase Agreement dated May 31, 2007. However, those shares were wrongfully transferred to Kesit, an Australian company wholly owned by Peter Steven Kestel ("Kestel") and his wife. Kestel was added as a party in the Kuantan Suit in his personal capacity for his role in the entire process which saw transfer of the SMSB's shares.

      Monument and ARSB filed a suit in the Kuantan High Court, Pahang Malaysia against Kesit Pty. Ltd. ("Kesit") and Kestel for the return of the 100% of the issued shares of SMSB (the Plaintiff in the 5% JV Claim) to ARSB.

      The claim by Monument and ARSB was Struck Out on June 8, 2017 by the Kuantan High Court based on Kesit's and Kestel's application, respectively. Monument and ARSB appealed against the striking out decisions and on January 16, 2018, the Court of Appeal granted Monument's appeals and ordered the following:

      The Kuantan High Court Suit is reinstated;

      Proceedings in Kuantan High Court Suit to be transferred to Shah Alam High Court to be heard together with JV5% Suit by the same judge and in such manner as directed by the Shah Alam High Court except for the following matters:

      2.1 Evidence is to be taken for JV5% Suit first followed by Kuantan Suit;

      2.2. A single judgment is to be issued for both JV 5% Suit and Kuantan Suit after the trials for both suits have been concluded.

      2.3. The proceedings in the JV5% Suit be scheduled for Case Management at 2.30pm on February 5, 2018.

      Monument Mining Ltd. Monument berichtet über den neuesten Stand des Rechtsstreits

      DGAP-News: Monument Mining Ltd. / Schlagwort(e): Rechtssache/Zwischenbericht Monument Mining Ltd. Monument berichtet über den neuesten Stand des Rechtsstreits 24.01.2018 / 16:17 Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist der Emittent verantwortlich.

      Vancouver, British Columbia, Kanada. 24. Januar 2018. Monument Mining Limited (Frankfurt: WKN A0MSJR; TSX-V: MMY) ("Monument" oder das "Unternehmen") berichtet, dass ihre Berufung gegen die Zurückweisung hinsichtlich der Kuantan-Klage vom Berufungsgericht angehört wurde. Folglich wurde die Kuantan-Klage wieder zugelassen.

      Bei Abschluss der Akquisition des Goldprojekts Selinsing im Juni 2007 waren gemäß der im Verkaufs- und Kaufabkommen, datiert den 31. Mai 2007, festgelegten Konditionen 100% der Aktien von Selinsing Mining Sdn. Bhd. ("SMSB") für Monuments Tochtergesellschaft Able Return Sdn. Bhd. ("ARSB") in treuhänderischem Besitz. Diese Aktien wurden jedoch unrechtmäßig an Kesit übertragen, ein australisches Unternehmen, das vollständig im Besitz von Peter Steven Kestel ("Kestel") und seiner Frau ist. Kestel wurde als eine Partei in die Kuantan-Klage aufgenommen aufgrund seiner persönlichen Beteiligung am gesamten Prozess, der die Übertragung der SMSB-Aktien einschloss.

      Monument und ARSB reichten beim Obersten Gerichtshof Kuantan eine Klage gegen Kesit Pty Ltd. ("Kesit") sowie Kestel ein und fordern darin die Rückgabe von 100 % der ausgegebenen SMSB-Aktien (der Kläger in der 5-%-JV-Klage) an ARSB.

      Die Forderung von Monument und ARSB wurde vom Obersten Gerichtshof Kuantan am 8. Juni 2017 zurückgewiesen aufgrund Kesits bzw. Kestels Antrag. Monument und ARSB legten Berufung gegen die Zurückweisungen ein und am 16. Januar 2018 gab das Berufungsgericht Monuments Berufung statt und verfügte Folgendes:

      1. Die Klage beim Obersten Gerichtshof Kuantan wird wieder zugelassen;

      2. Das Verfahren wird vom Obersten Gerichtshof Kuantan an den Obersten Gerichtshof Shah Alam verlegt werden, um zusammen mit der 5-%-JV-Klage von dem gleichen Richter und so nach Anweisung durch den Obersten Gerichtshof Shah Alam angehört zu werden außer folgender Punkte:

      2.1. Zuerst erfolgt die Beweisaufnahme für die 5-%-JV-Klage anschließend folgt die Kuantan-Klage;

      2.2. Ein einziges Urteil wird für die 5-%-JV-Klage und die Kuantan-Klage gefällt, nachdem die Gerichtsverhandlungen für beide Klagen abgeschlossen wurden.

      2.3. Das Verfahren der 5-%-JV-Klage wurde für das Case Management am 5. Februar 2018 um 14Uhr30 angesetzt.

      Die Zahlen für Q3/2019 waren ja sehr ernüchternd. Geht es hier irgendwann mal wieder aufwärts? Selbst mit dem angezogenen Goldpreis hat sich bei der Aktie nichts getan.
