BARNEVELD, Netherlands and HERNDON, Va., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Baan Company N.V. (Nasdaq: BAANF; Amsterdam: BAAN), a
global provider of enterprise business solutions, today announced that it has teamed up with Microsoft and Compaq to create a new European
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Research center in Copenhagen. The new CRM Research Center is designed to help companies improve
the efficiency of their selling processes, enhance their customer relationships and help the decision-making process as they look to the latest in enterprise
software and hardware solutions to improve the bottom line through CRM. The new CRM Research Center will open on March 23, 2000.

This announcement builds on Baan`s existing strong relationship with strategic partners Microsoft and Compaq in the Customer Relationship
Management arena, and today the three companies also announced plans to develop a network of similar Centers across Europe.

The new CRM Research Center will be available to any European business, but will have a geographical focus on the Nordic countries. The Center will

benefits that more effective Customer Relationship Management can bring. These sessions will range from business strategy to in-depth technical
sessions. The availability of a complete installed CRM solution onsite, based on Compaq hardware, will allow detailed presentations and discussions
covering Baan CRM solutions (principally BaanFrontOffice and Baan E-Enterprise), Microsoft Windows 2000, SQL Server 7.0 and Office2000
software, and the necessary infrastructure to support these functions.

ms arbeitet mit baan zusammen. was bedeutet das?
- ms wird sich keine leiche aussuchen. ms glaubt also an ein überleben von baan?

- will ms in das erp geschäft einsteigen? eher unwahrscheinlich, weil ja ms sap verwendet.

- ms will ins crm-geschäft einsteigen? schon wahrscheinlicher.
mit baan frontoffice, das ja demonstrativ auf ms-technologie ausgerichtet ist (sogar gewinner des ms-award) wär hier ein schönes stück crm zu erhaschen.

auf alle fälle finde ich die meldung schon interessant.
mal sehen wie die amis darauf reagieren.

Microsoft ist zur Zeit gut im Rennen, den Zuschlag für das Internet-Projekt von VW zu bekommen (->Focus). Da wird auch Baan mit im Boot sein, wenn ich die Kooperationsvereinbarungen zwischen Baan und Microsoft richtig einschätze. VW ist DER Vorzeigekunde von Baan in Deutschland und erst kürzlich haben sich auch die Niedersächsischen Landesbehörden für Baan-Software entschieden.

habe heute 1000 stück von baan ins depot genommen.
weiß zwar nicht genau warum, aber bo hat baan im dez bei 15 empfohlen und habe damals schon überlegt spek. einzusteigen.
warten wirs mal ab. in 4 wochen sehen wir weiter.

Bear Stearns Grants Put Option to Baan For Up to 150 Million Euros of Baan Common Stock
BARNEVELD, Netherlands and HERNDON, Va., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Baan Company N.V. (Nasdaq: BAANF; ASE: BAAN), announced today that it has entered into a put agreement with Bear Stearns International Limited under which Baan has the right to request Bear Stearns to purchase up to 150 million euros of Baan`s common stock over the next 18 months.

Under the agreement (and subject to certain conditions, including a minimum market price for the Baan shares), Baan may put shares of its common stock to Bear Stearns as often as every three trading days. Each put will be priced at market for the two-trading-day period following notice of exercise, and may consist of up to 10% of the trading volume of Baan common stock on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange over that period.

As consideration for entering into the agreement, Bear Stearns will receive 1,500,000 shares of Baan`s common stock at par value.

Rob Ruijter, CFO of Baan, commented, ``Although Baan remains in a very challenging environment, we are extremely pleased to have obtained, with the assistance of our financial advisor, Lazard, a new source of equity capital from a high-quality institution such as Bear Stearns.``

Der Kurs geht nach oben - BAAN hat einen Financiers für ein Aktienrückkaufprogramm in Höhe von 10% des Aktienkapitals gefunden.

Besser gehts nimmer - bin im übrigen mit 4.000 shares dabei, gestern break-even erreicht.

der hammer kommt aber erst:
lt. wallstreet journal gliedert baan aurum (crm-sparte) in eine eigene tochtergesellschaft aus! going public nicht ausgeschlossen.
nachzulesen im ragingbull (den artikel in wj hab i net gefunden)

dabei wird aurum mit siebel verglichen und eine mörder marktkap. prognostiziert (ca. doppelt so viel für aurum als baan+aurum z.z. gemeinsam wert sind!)

Jetzt scheint mir der Abwärtstrend vorbei zu sein....
6,50 dürfte langsam zeigen das es wieder deutlicher nach oben gehen könnte und auch sollte...

Die 38 Tage-Line liegt so bei 5,90 Euro, da gehts heute deutlich drüber...zur 200er Line ist der Weg noch sehr weit, also erstmal viel Platz für steigende Kurse

Tageshoch war war heute sogar schon 7 Euro, aber das denke ich war überzogen...

Bei dem Tief hätte man nochmal nachlegen sollen, naja, hinterher ist man immer schlauer, aber ich denk 10 Euro sind in 2-3 Monaten drinnen und dann komm ich immer noch mit einem sehr netten Gewinn davon!

Hallo, BAAN-Sympatisanten,
ich melde mich mal wieder, um einen psychologischen Beistand zu
leisten.
Nach wie vor bin ich der Ansicht, daß speziell bei BAAN weder
fundamental noch charttechnisch argumentiert werden soll und kann.
Alleine die Tatsache zählt für mich hierbei, daß ein derartiges
Unternehmen weder vom Kurszettel verschwinden wird, noch wesentlich
und dauerhaft weiter abwärts gehen wird.
Sicherlich sind kleinere Ausrutscher immer wieder möglich, da
ja die Ängste der Zittrigen immer sehr schnell hochkochen.
Mag auch sein, daß ein wirklich großer Kursanstieg noch etwas auf
sich warten läßt.
Aber m.E. werden immer dann, wenn es um Kopf und Kragen geht, alle
vorhandenen Ärmel hochgekrempelt; man wird neue Wege suchen und auch
finden.
Wollen wir nicht zu schnelle und zu große positive Schritte
erwarten.
Ich jedoch gehe nach wie vor davon aus, daß wir hier in absehbarer
Zeit Kurse sehen werden, welche uns derzeit in unseren Träumen noch
absurd erscheinen. Dementsprechend bin ich auch investiert.
Ich wünsche Euch Mut, Geduld und Festigkeit.
