Quarterly Dividend of CAD$0.02

Silvercorp will pay its FY2010 first quarter dividend of CAD$0.02 per share on October 21, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2009. schau, bei mir ist das ganz unaufgeregt

ich find´s nur bescheiden (!!!) wenn nachrichten nur auszugsweise
wiedergegeben werden obwohl sie in gänze zur verfügung stehen.
aus dem zusammenhang genommene aussagen verfälschen zwangs-
läufig und lassen einen völlig konträren eindruck enstehen,
bzw. implementieren einen völlig irrealen eindruck.

sollte es tatsächlich von dir nicht so bezweckt worden sein,
würde es dir gut stehen dass dann auch so zu formulieren.

Mal ganz locker aus der Hose atmen. Ich habe zu diesem Zeitpunkt das hereingestellt, was mir an Nachrichten verfügbar war. Ich will hier nicht pushen und werde meine Bestände natürlich halten.

ach ja, und noch eins :

man muss die zahlen immer im kontext sehen.

losgelöst von allem drumherum kann man evtl. einen negativ-input
bekommen (nur dann kennt man die firma nicht resp. hat sich mit
dem unternehmen nicht auseinandergesetzt).

im zusammenhang mit allem was so drumherum ist, ist man bei
diesem unternehmen bestens aufgehoben.
auch wenn´s hin und wieder mal volatil ist, man kann hier ganz
beruhigt schlafen hat keinen verfall (in welcher art auch immer)
und kann sich irgendwann über richtig geld freuen.
nur eins muß man haben : GEDULD
(übrigens : geld kommt von geduld)

btw gehe ich davon aus dass wir hier in relativ kurzer zeit die
4 dollar-marke nachhaltig geknackt haben werden und die aktuelle
seitwärtsbewegung hinter uns gelassen haben werden.
hinzu kommt, dass ab einem gewissen sharepreis (so um die 5 dollar)
auch andere insti´s hier einsteigen werden.
und dann kann´s passieren dass wir sehr schnell wieder in alte
höhen (sprich 10 dollar-bereich ) zurückkehren werden.

also wieterhin füße still halten und nicht sich von so
markigen negativ-post´s verunsichern lassen .
man will nur euer bestes : shares bzw. geld

FIRST QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS

- Net earnings of $7.5 million or $0.05 per share, compared to $1.2 million or $0.01 per share last quarter and $11.6 million or $0.08 per share in the same quarter last year;

OUTLOOK


The Company's production outlook for fiscal 2010 is 410,000 tonnes, of which 260,000 tonnes will be mined from the Ying mine; 100,000 tonnes from TLP; 30,000 tonnes from HPG; and 20,000 tonnes from LM. Silver production is expected to be around 4.65 to 5.05 million ounces in fiscal 2010. Capital expenditures are budgeted at $16 million for the Ying camp, of which $11 million are for exploration drilling at the Ying mine and $5 million are for exploration drilling and mine development at the TLP, LM and HPG mines.

At the Ying camp, the Company is carrying out a regional IP geophysical program, aiming to define drill targets outside the current mining areas.

At the GC project in Guangdong Province, China, the Company has made the following progress in applying for a mining permit and advancing the project towards production:

- An Environmental Assessment Report was completed in March 2009 and has passed a review by an expert panel appointed by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Guangdong Province and by the local community. The panel has recommended that the Environmental Protection Bureau approve the GC project mining development. Pending receipt of the final approval from the Environmental Protection Bureau, a mining permit application can be submitted to the Ministry of Land and Resources of China in Beijing.

- In June 2009, the Company completed a NI 43-101 technical report update for the GC Ag-Pb-Zn project. Using a 150 g/t silver equivalent cutoff grade, the GC deposit contains 28.5 million ounces of silver, 96,000 tonnes of lead, and 214,000 tonnes of zinc in the Measured and Indicated categories and 30.8 million ounces of silver, 115,000 tonnes of lead and 213,000 tonnes of zinc in the Inferred category.

- The Company has engaged a Chinese engineering firm with Class A qualifications in mine and mill designs to provide a full mine and mill design for the GC project. This will be equivalent to a feasibility study in Canada.

- The Company has budgeted approximately $4 million for the GC project in fiscal 2010 for exploration reports, mine and mill designs, and for permitting. This brings the Company's overall capital expenditures budget for fiscal 2010 to $20 million.

Silvercorp continues to pursue future growth opportunities by carrying out an aggressive exploration program within the existing exploration and mining permit areas as well as acquiring projects in China and other jurisdictions.

VANCOUVER, B.C. - Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM) reported Thursday a drop in first-quarter earnings compared with a year ago as sales fell more than 25 per cent.
The company, which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, said Thursday it earned US$7.5 million or five cents per share for the quarter ended June 30 compared with a profit of $11.6 million or eight cents per share a year ago.
Sales fell to $22.6 million, down from $30.9 million.
Silvercorp is operating and developing four silver-lead-zinc mines in China.

Hi eifel,

danke für Wünsche & Einladung. Mit letzterer wird es aktuell leider nichts werden, da ich ab morgen außer Landes bin. Aber wir haben ja noch den berühmten Eifeler Indian Summer. Und wie aus den gewöhnlich gut unterrichteten Kreisen verlautbart, verfügt die Bitburger Brauerei auch für die nächsten Monate noch über ausreichende Lagerbestände - Lieferengpässe sind also nicht zu erwarten.

Hallo sloop,

wo immer du deinen Urlaub verbringst wünsche ich dir eine gute Erholung.
Solltest du die Eifel nicht verlassen, kannst du auch gerne mal zum Grillen bei mir auf der Südweide antreten...
Austausch über Invests nicht ausgeschlossen aber keine Bedingung.
Ich hab den Bitburger Kasten schon mal in den 7 Grad Brunnen deponiert.

Hallo saltamonte & alle,

wollte die Ankündigung auch soeben einstellen und sehe, dass es schon geschehen ist. Da nehme ich jetzt die Gelegenheit wahr und verabschiede mich für die nächsten 3-4 Wochen (also jedenfalls bis nach den Q-Zahlen) in den Urlaub.
