Stock Buyback Program Approved by Silvercorp Metals (SVM)
Silvercorp Metals (NYSEAMERICAN:SVM) announced that its board has authorized a stock buyback plan, which permits the company to repurchase 16,500,000 shares on Friday, December 19th, EventVestor reports. This repurchase authorization permits the company to repurchase up to 9.7% of its shares through open market purchases. Shares repurchase plans are often a sign that the company’s board believes its shares are undervalued.
