NWT Uranium and Azimut select high-priority radioactive targets during $1.5 million exploration program in Quebec

TORONTO, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is pleased to report on the comprehensive program underway at its North Rae Uranium Project in the Ungava Bay region of northern Quebec, under option from Azimut Exploration Inc. In less than one month of field work performed in early July by a joint NWT Uranium-Azimut task team, crews have completed their initial ground evaluation and ranking of the property's 14 top-priority anomalies, selecting three large radioactive targets for trenching. Ongoing work will further refine targets for drilling, which is scheduled to commence this field season.

The 2007 ground exploration program currently underway at North Rae has been designed to further delineate, refine and rank drill targets using a combination of geophysics, trenching and geochemical sampling. Radioactivity is being measured and results are being mapped on a comprehensive geophysical grid.

Crews have completed their initial ground evaluation and ranking of the 14 top-priority anomalies, which were discovered during an airborne geophysical survey conducted in the 2006 field season. Seven anomalies have so far been selected for follow-up field work. These include Tasialuk, Tasik and Torrent, three large radioactive targets identified for extensive sampling, trenching, and geological and radiometric ground detail surveys using 328-foot (100-meter) line spacing, with tighter 164-foot (50-meter) and 82-foot (25-meter) line spacing in anomalous areas.

The Tasialuk zone contains a radioactive area measuring 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) by 656 to 984 feet (200 to 300 meters). Tasik covers an area of elevated radiometry measuring 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) by 328 to 492 feet (100 to 150 meters). Torrent contains a radioactive area measuring 5,577 feet (1,700 meters) by 164 to 492 feet (50 to 150 meters). Uranium mineralization appears to be hosted mainly by gneissic, granitic and granitic pegmatite lithologies.

Areas with elevated radiometry registered values ranging from 1,000 to 40,000 counts per second (cps) in sharp contrast to background values of approximately 120 cps.

The only follow-up field work conducted previously was on a showing coincident with a 3.1-mile (5.0-kilometer) long airborne anomaly. This follow-up work on the ground led to the definition of the Rae-1 Zone, a 2.0-mile (3.3-kilometer) mineralized zone that has returned rock sample values up to 0.59% U(3)O(8), as reported in a press release dated November 29, 2006. The Rae-1 Zone will also be subject to a systematic ground radiometric survey and sampling.

Grab samples from all zones, collected during 2007 ground evaluation, have been submitted to Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon for analysis using Aqua Regia Partial digestion followed by ICP.

NWT Uranium has budgeted a total of C$1.5 million for 2007 exploration in Quebec on its two uranium properties under option from Azimut. Work at North Rae is scheduled to include helicopter-borne geophysics, prospecting and sampling, mapping and diamond drilling at a cost of C$1.2 million. At Daniel Lake, NWT Uranium proposes to spend C$300,000 on geophysics, lake-bottom sediment geochemistry and reconnaissance prospecting. At least 2,500 meters of drilling will be completed at North Rae by the end of 2007.

NWT Uranium has the right to acquire up to 65% interest from Azimut in the North Rae Uranium Project, where results to date have revealed the potential for a new uranium district. NWT Uranium also has an option to acquire up to 65% ownership in the Daniel Lake Uranium Project, which is contiguous with North Rae. North Rae and Daniel Lake cover a total area of more than 200,000 acres (81,000 hectares).

Das Bodenerkundungsprogramm 2007, das derzeit in North Rae durchgeführt wird, wurde entwickelt, um Bohrziele mit Hilfe einer Kombination aus Geophysik, Grabungen und geochemischen Probeentnahmen weiter abzugrenzen, zu verfeinern und zu bewerten. Die Teams haben ihre anfänglichen Bodenbeurteilungen und Bewertungen der 14 Anomalien des Grundstücks abgeschlossen, die während einer geophysikalischen Aufnahme aus der Luft bestimmt wurden, die in der Saison 2006 durchgeführt wurde. Das Tasialuk-Gebiet umfasst ein radioaktives Gebiet von 1.000 Metern mal 200 bis 300 Meter. Das Tasik-Gebiet umfasst ein Gebiet von erhöhter Radiometrie von 1.000 Metern mal 100 bis 150 Metern. Das Torrent-Gebiet beinhaltet ein radioaktives Gebiet von 1.700 Metern mal 50 bis 150 Metern. Die Uranmineralisierung scheint hauptsächlich in Lithologien des Gneises, des Granits und der Granit-Pegmatite vorhanden zu sein.

Gebiete mit erhöhten Radiometriewerten haben Werte im Bereich von 1.000 bis 40.000 Zählungen pro Sekunde registriert, die im starken Kontrast zu Hintergrundwerten von etwa 120 Zählungen pro Sekunde stehen.

Die einzigen Anschlussarbeiten, die zuvor vor Ort durchgeführt wurden, bezogen sich auf eine Präsentation einer 5,0 km langen Anomalie aus der Luft. Diese Anschlussarbeiten am Boden führten zu der Definition der Rae-1-Zone, einer 3,3 km großen mineralisierten Zone, die Gesteinsproben mit einem Gehalt von bis zu 0,59 % U3O8 ergeben hat, wie bereits in einer Pressemitteilung vom 29. November 2006 bekannt gegeben wurde. Die Rae-1-Zone wird ebenfalls Gegenstand einer systematischen radiometrischen Bodenaufnahme und von Probeentnahmen sein.

Grabungsproben aus allen Zonen, die während der Bodenbewertungsphase 2007 gesammelt wurden, wurden an den Saskatchewan Research Council von Saskatoon zur Analyse übermittelt, die mit Hilfe eines teilweisen Königswasser-Aufschlusses und ICP durchgeführt wird.

NWT Uranium hat eine Summe von insgesamt 1,5 Millionen kanadischer Dollar für das Forschungsprogramm 2007 in Quebec auf seinen beiden Uranbesitzen unter Option von Azimut einkalkuliert. Admission to AIM


Niger Uranium (URU) has commenced trading on AIM today.


Niger Uranium was incorporated in May 2007. The Company will consider uranium
projects worldwide as an active investor and will focus initially on the State
of Niger. Niger has been mining uranium since 1971 and past production from
Niger's two operating mines exceeds 100,000 tonnes of uranium (approximately 220
million lbs of U3O8) to the end of 2006.

Following incorporation, the Company agreed to acquire the Nigerien exploration
properties of NWT Uranium Inc ("NWT") which are located in the same geographic
area as Niger's two producing Areva uranium mines. In addition, the Company
agreed to acquire Nigerien exploration properties of UraMin Inc ("UraMin"). The
combined exploration prospects (the "Prospects") cover a total of 1,673,644
acres (equivalent to 6,773 square kilometres) and are all located in the Tim
Mersoi basin in Niger. The Tim Mersoi basin is a recognised uranium province.

The transfer of the exploration properties to the Company is subject to the
authorisation of the Niger State Minister of Mines. The Directors are not aware
of any reason why authorisation will not be received from the State (Minister of
Mines). However, no assurance can be given that such authorisation will be
provided.

Prospective investors should note that the Company has not prepared a resource
classification of any kind, and particularly not under any of the modern
standards such the JORC Code, SAMREC, IMMM or CIM Standards.

The Directors believe that the Company has the financial and technical resources
at its disposal and in particular, to fast-track its exploration programme on
the Prospects in Niger. Prior to Admission, the net cash balances of the Company
amounted to approximately US$28 million.

Previous exploration results have enabled the delineation of high-priority
areas. MSA Geoservices PTY (Limited) has prepared a competent persons report in
the exploration properties (which is included in full in the Admission
Document).

The Company will also consider other uranium opportunities worldwide. The
Company's interest in a proposed investment and/or acquisition may range from a
minority position to 100 per cent. ownership. The proposed investments may be
either quoted or unquoted and may be in companies, partnerships, earn-in joint
ventures, debt or other loan structures, joint ventures or direct interests in
natural resources projects.

The Directors intend to actively monitor any investments and/or acquisitions
made by the Company.

The Directors believe that the current market conditions for uranium projects
will provide good opportunities for investment in situations which are, in their
opinion, undervalued or capable of producing a satisfactory return.

Die Ergebnisse in North Rae unterstreichen auch weiterhin das Potenzial dieses Gebiets als neues Uranabbaugebiet. Bisher wurden insgesamt sieben radioaktive Zonen für weiterführende Arbeiten ermittelt und in vier Gebieten wurden Raster fertig gestellt. Diese Gebiete mit erhöhter Radiometrie registrieren Werte zwischen 1.000 und 100.000 Zählungen pro Sekunde (cps), die im starken Kontrast zu Hintergrundwerten von etwa 120 Zählungen pro Sekunde stehen.

Das Tasik-Gebiet umfasst eine Fläche mit erhöhter Radiometrie von 1.000 m mal 100 bis 150 m. Zum Tasialuk-Gebiet gehört eine radioaktive Fläche von 1.000 m mal 200 bis 300 m. In den Gebieten Aqpiq, Ilaluga und Jonas werden derzeit noch Bodenbewertungen durchgeführt.

Qualitätssicherung

Der NQ-Kern wird vor Ort in zwei Hälften geteilt, wobei eine Hälfte aus Grabungsproben besteht, die für die Analyse gesammelt werden, und die andere Hälfte als Referenzmaterial. Die zu analysierenden Proben werden dem Saskatchewan Research Council von Saskatoon zur Analyse zugeschickt, die mit Hilfe des Königswasseraufschlusses sowie der Nassveraschung und dem anschließenden ICP durchgeführt wird. Protokolle für die industrieübliche Qualitätskontrolle/ Qualitätssicherung sowie die Aufnahme von zertifiziertem Referenzmaterial wurden eingeführt.

Bohrung in Quebec wird fortgesetzt

Die Bohrung beim North Rae-Uranprojekt in der Gegend der Ungava Bay im Norden Quebecs (Kanada) ist im Gange. Sieben Bohrlöcher mit einer Gesamttiefe von 517 Metern wurden bislang fertig gestellt.

Das Bohrprogramm von North Rae konzentriert sich weiterhin auf die Bestimmung potenzieller, wirtschaftlich nutzbarer Mineralvorkommen an kürzlich ermittelten radioaktiven Zielen. Die Bohrungen werden bis zum Wintereinbruch in der Gegend der Ungava Bay fortgesetzt. Anschließend werden Proben zur Analyse an das Saskatchewan Research Council geschickt. Die Ergebnisse zu einer erheblichen Anzahl von Gesteinsproben, die 2007 während der Bodenuntersuchungen genommen wurden, stehen ebenfalls noch aus.

NWT ist der Meinung, dass North Rae über das geologische Potenzial verfügt, um Kanadas neuestes Urangebiet zu werden. Niger Uranium nimmt Handel auf

Niger Uranium Ltd., das von NWT Uranium und UraMin Inc. (mittlerweile von Areva übernommen) gegründete Joint-Venture, wird jetzt auf dem Alternative Investment Market (AIM) gehandelt, der einen Untermarkt der Londoner Börse darstellt. NWT Uranium ist der größte Anteilseigner von Niger Uranium. Niger Uranium besitzt insgesamt acht sehr viel versprechende Uranlizenzen in derselben geologischen Umgebung wie die bereits in Betrieb genommenen Areva-Minen, die zusammengenommen etwa 7,5% der weltweiten Uran-Jahresproduktion erbringen.

NWT confirms uranium occurrences at North Rae, Quebec

TORONTO, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is
pleased to announce initial assay results from rock grab samples collected in
July 2007 during ground evaluation work at the North Rae Uranium Project in
the Ungava Bay region of northern Quebec, Canada. The results confirm uranium
mineralization associated with previously identified high-priority radioactive
targets. NWT's exploration model focuses on high-tonnage, near-surface uranium
targets amenable to open-pit mining.
"Our ongoing work at North Rae has confirmed the presence of uranium,
providing further evidence of the area's potential to host a new uranium
district," said Marek J. Kreczmer, President and CEO of NWT Uranium. "While
our work to date has returned some high-grade uranium values of up to 0.64%
U(3)O8 from rock grab samples, we are particularly encouraged by the fact that
a significant number of these results fall in the range of known deposits in
Namibia. This same type of large, near-surface deposit with potential to be
recovered by low-cost bulk mining methods is exactly what we are targeting at
North Rae."

Initial Rock Sample Results

Assay results from 234 widely spaced surface rock grab samples collected
at the Tasialuk, Tasik, Jonas, Aqpiq, Ilaluga, 46, Rae-1 (Amittujaq) and
Torrent zones and adjacent areas reveal values of up to 0.64% U(3)O8. Of these
234 samples, a total of 78 returned values over 0.012% U(3)O8 (100 ppm
uranium). All samples are widely spaced, which underscores the regional nature
of the mineralized system.
At Tasialuk, 27 of 108 samples reveal uranium values over 0.012% U(3)O8,
including a proximal boulder that returned a value of 0.192% U(3)O8 and a grab
sample that returned 0.09% U(3)O8. The zone covers a total length of 2,624
feet (800 meters).
Assay results from the Tasik zone reveal values of up to 0.151% U(3)O8.
Of these 64 samples, a total of 17 returned values over 0.012% U(3)O8. The 17
samples cover a 2,624-foot (800-meter) area.
At Jonas, four of seven samples returned uranium values over 0.012%
U(3)O8, including two samples that returned 0.64% and 0.27% U(3)O8
respectively. The four samples are distributed over a total length of 820 feet
(250 meters). At Aqpiq, one of two grab samples returned a value of 0.113%
U(3)O8.
Samples from the Ilaluga zone were also evaluated, with seven of 16
samples returning values above 0.012% U(3)O8, including one sample that
returned 0.035% U(3)O8. The seven samples are distributed over a total length
of 4,068 feet (1,240 meters). At zone 46, one of two grab samples returned a
value of 0.05% U(3)O8.
Ten of 11 samples from the Rae-1 (Amittujaq) zone recorded values over
0.012% U(3)O8, with four samples returning 0.218%, 0.195%, 0.094% and 0.093%
U(3)O8 respectively. The 10 samples cover a total length of 7,873 feet (2,400
meters).
At Torrent, 10 of 18 samples returned uranium values above 0.012% U(3)O8,
including one sample that returned 0.1% U(3)O8. The 10 samples are distributed
over a total length of 2,700 feet (822 meters).
In these eight zones, uranium values are related to pegmatitic dykes as
individual dykes or dyke swarms in contact with gneissic rocks
(sulphide-bearing paragneiss, granitic gneiss). The dykes are sub-horizontal
and sub-vertical to steeply dipping. Yellow minerals, likely resulting from
the superficial alteration of primary uranium-bearing minerals, have been
observed on four of these zones. A map showing the location of the eight zones
will be made available on the NWT Uranium web site at
www.northwestmineral.com.

The table below provides details of samples that returned values above
0.018% U(3)O8 (150 ppm uranium).

Additional rock sample results from the 2007 ground exploration program
will be announced as they are received and compiled.
Some of the assays returned were below the detection limits of the
analytical techniques used to analyze samples. Six samples were collected in
areas adjacent to the zones listed above.
In total, eight NQ diamond drill holes covering 1,843 feet (562 meters)
were completed before the early onset of winter conditions in the Ungava Bay
region. The program was concluded for the season in the first week of October,
more than one month earlier than NWT had originally scheduled, because of
adverse weather conditions. It is also unsafe for NWT's helicopter pilots to
fly in this weather, which makes it impossible to move the drill from location
to location.
Sites tested in this initial phase of drilling include recently
identified radioactive targets and other high-priority areas in three zones -
Tasik, Tasialuk and Jonas. The aim of the program was to test uranium
spectrometric anomalies, yellow alteration mineral occurrences and areas that
have returned anomalous uranium values. Drilling was being conducted by Forage
à Diamant Benoit Ltée of Val d'Or, Quebec.
NWT has the right to earn up to 65% ownership of North Rae from Azimut
Exploration Inc., as announced in a press release dated March 6, 2006.

Quality Assurance

Grab samples from all zones, collected during 2007 ground evaluation,
were submitted to Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon for analysis
using aqua regia partial digestion followed by ICP. Industry standard Quality
Control/Quality Assurance protocols have been implemented, including insertion
of certified reference material for drill core samples.

NWT BESTÄTIGT URANVORKOMMEN IN NORTH RAE, QUEBEC

Toronto - 16. Oktober 2007 - NWT Uranium Corp. (WKN A0MYD8, ISIN
CA62948B1004) freut sich, die ersten Untersuchungsergebnisse von
Gesteinsstichproben, die im Juli 2007 während der
Bodenbewertungsarbeitungen im North Rae-Uranprojekt in der Region von
Ungava Bay im Norden Quebecs, Kanada, genommen wurden, bekannt zu geben.
Die Ergebnisse bestätigen die Uranmineralisierung in Verbindung mit den
zuvor identifizierten radioaktiven Zielen mit der höchsten Priorität. Das
Explorationsmodell von NWT konzentriert sich auf Uranziele mit einer hohen
Tonnage nahe der Oberfläche, die für Tagebaubohrung zugänglich sind.

´Unsere anhaltende Arbeit in North Rae hat das Vorkommen von Uran bestätigt
und somit einen weiteren Beweis dafür erbracht, dass das Gebiet ein neue

Erste Gesteinsstichprobenergebnisse

Untersuchungsergebnisse von 234 weit auseinander liegenden Gesteinsproben
in den Zonen Tasialuk, Tasik, Jonas, Aqpiq, Ilaluga, 46, Rae-1 (Amittujaq)
und Torrent und den benachbarten Gegenden zeigen Werte von bis zu 0,64%
U3O8. Von diesen 234 Proben ergaben insgesamt 78 Werte von über 0,012% U3O8
(100 ppm Uran). Alle Proben wurden an weit auseinander liegenden Stellen
entnommen, wodurch die regionale Art des mineralisierten Systems
unterstrichen wird.

In Tasialuk zeigen 27 von 108 Proben Uranwerte von über 0,012% U3O8,
einschließlich eines nahe gelegenen Felsblocks, der einen Wert von 0,192%
U3O8 ergab und einer Stichprobe, die 0,09% U3O8 ergab. Die Zone umfasst
eine Gesamtlänge von 2.624 Fuß (800 Meter).

Untersuchungsergebnisse aus der Tasik-Zone zeigen Werte von bis zu 0,151%
U3O8. Von diesen 64 Proben ergaben insgesamt 17 Werte von über 0,012% U3O8.
Die 17 Proben umfassen ein Gebiet von 2.624 Fuß (800 Meter).

In Jonas ergaben vier von sieben Proben Uranwerte von über 0,012% U3O8,
einschließlich zwei Proben, die 0,64% beziehungsweise 0,27 % U3O8 ergaben.
Die vier Proben sind über eine Gesamtlänge von 820 Fuß (250 Meter)
verteilt. In Aqpiq ergab eine von zwei Stichproben einen Wert von 0,113%
U3O8

Proben aus der Ilaluga-Zone wurden ebenfalls bewertet, wobei sieben von 16
Proben Werte von über 0,012% U3O8 ergaben, einschließlich einer Probe, die
0,035% U3O8 ergab. Die sieben Proben sind über eine Gesamtlänge von 4.068
Fuß (1.240 Meter) verteilt. In Zone 46 ergab eine von zwei Stichproben
einen Wert von 0,05% U3O8.

Zehn von 11 Proben aus der Rae-1- (Amittujaq-) Zone verzeichneten Werte von
über 0,012% U3O8, wobei vier Proben 0,218%, 0,195%, 0,094% beziehungsweise
0,093% U3O8 ergaben. Die 10 Proben decken eine Gesamtlänge von 7.873 Fuß
(2.400 Meter) ab.

In Torrent ergaben 10 von 18 Proben Uranwerte von über 0,012% U3O8,
einschließlich einer Probe, die 0,1% U3O8 ergab. Die 10 Proben sind über
eine Gesamtlänge von 2.700 Fuß (822 Meter) verteilt.

In diesen acht Zonen stehen die Uranwerte zu pegmatitischen Quergängen als
individuelle Quergänge oder Quergangsschwärme in Kontakt mit Gneisgestein
(sulfidhaltiger Paragneis, Granitgneis) in Verbindung. Die Quergänge sind
subhorizontal und subvertikal zu einem steil fallenden Gefüge. Gelbe
Mineralien, die wahrscheinlich aus oberflächlichen Änderungen der primären
uranhaltigen Mineralien entstanden sind, wurden in vier dieser Zonen
beobachtet. Eine Karte, die den Standort dieser acht Zonen zeigt, wird auf
der Website von NWT Uranium unter www.northwestmineral.com zur Verfügung
gestellt.

Die nachstehende Tabelle listet Einzelheiten der Proben auf, die Ergebnisse
von mehr als 0,018% U3O8 ergeben haben (150 ppm Uran).

Weitere Ergebnisse von Gesteinsproben aus dem Bodenexplorationsprogramm aus
dem Jahr 2007 werden bekannt gegeben, sobald man sie erhalten und
zusammengestellt hat.

Einige der zurückgesandten Untersuchen lagen unterhalb der
Erkennungsgrenzen der analytischen Techniken, die zur Analyse der Proben
verwendet werden. Sechs Proben wurden in Gebieten entnommen, die an die
oben aufgelisteten Zonen angrenzen.

Insgesamt wurden acht NQ-Diamantbohrlöcher, die einen Bereich von 1.843 Fuß
(562 Meter) abdecken, vor dem frühzeitigen Beginn der winterlichen
Wetterbedingungen in der Ungava Bay-Region fertig gestellt. Das Programm
in der ersten Oktoberwoche wurde für die Saison aufgrund von widrigen
Wetterverhältnissen beendet, mehr als einen Monat früher, als NWT
ursprünglich geplant hatte. Da es auch für die Hubschrauberpiloten
unsicher ist, bei diesem Wetter zu fliegen, wird es auch unmöglich, die
Bohrung von Standort zu Standort zu verlegen.

Standorte, die in dieser ersten Phase der Bohrungen getestet wurden,
beinhalten kürzlich identifizierte radioaktive Ziele und andere Gebiete
höchster Priorität in drei Zonen - Tasik, Tasialuk und Jonas. Das Ziel des
Programms war es, spektrometrische Urananomalien, Vorkommnisse von
Gelbverfärbungen bei Mineralien und Gebiete zu testen, die anomale
Uranwerte ergeben haben. Die Bohrung wurde durch Forage à Diamant Benoit
Ltée of Val d´Or, Quebec, durchgeführt.

NWT hat das Recht, bis zu 65% Eigentumsrechte an North Rae von Azimut
Exploration Inc. zu erwerben, wie in einer Pressemitteilung bekannt gegeben
wurde, die am 6. März 2006 veröffentlicht wurde.

Qualitätssicherung

Stichproben aus allen Zonen, die während der Bodenbewertung im Jahr 2007
entnommen wurden, wurden an das Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon
zur Analyse übermittelt, die mit Hilfe eines teilweisen
Königswasseraufschlusses und dem anschließenden ICP durchgeführt wird.
Protokolle für die Qualitätskontrolle/Qualitätssicherung nach
Industriestandards sowie die Aufnahme von zertifiziertem Referenzmaterial
für Bohrkernproben wurden eingeführt.

NWT Uranium advances Picachos property in Mexico

TORONTO, Oct. 31 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is
pleased to provide an update on activities underway at its 19,000-acre
(7,700-hectare) Picachos project in Durango, Mexico. In recent months, NWT has
conducted an IP survey and rock sampling over Los Cochis, one of four
contiguous precious metal districts on the Picachos property. Work is being
conducted to ensure that NWT and its shareholders get full value for this
asset. Assay results from rock chip channel and rock grab samples reveal
individual values of up to 145 ounces per ton (4,975 grams per tonne) silver,
0.25 oz/t (8.61 g/t) gold, 53% zinc as well as 50% lead. Two targets at Los
Cochis were defined as part of the exploration program: El Fresno and La
Tijera. Drilling is scheduled as the next step of the ongoing work program.
"Of the four districts, NWT chose to focus on Los Cochis because of its
potential to host large-tonnage, near-surface silver-lead-zinc mineralization
that is amenable to open-pit mining," said Marek J. Kreczmer, President and
CEO of NWT Uranium. "We are encouraged by the high levels of silver-lead-zinc
mineralization returned from our rock sampling program and by the fact that
our results correspond to other well-known Mexican massive sulphide-base metal
deposits."
El Fresno is characterized by high silver geochemistry in a 2,625-foot by
1,640-foot (800-meter by 500-meter) area that trends east-southeast. The
average assay value of 164 rock chip-channel and grab samples is 9.5 oz/t
(328 g/t) silver, 1.62% zinc, 1.01% lead and 0.05% copper. Most samples from
El Fresno were cut from disseminated and stockwork mineralization exposed in
creek draws and historic workings. Results include 157 feet (48 meters) of 1.6
oz/t (56 g/t) silver, 0.4% lead and 1.2% zinc (average result of
34 continuous chip-channel samples).
La Tijera is a complex northwest-trending fault zone northeast of
El Fresno that controls the emplacement of diorite porphyry intrusions,
quartz-feldspar porphyritic monzonite intrusions and gold-rich mineralization.
The fault zone is a crustal-scale lineament that strikes into the El Toro
district, five miles (eight kilometers) to the northwest on the Picachos
property. The average result of 47 chip channel and grab rock samples from
mineralized parts of the fault are 14.2 oz/t (489 g/t) silver, 5.26% zinc,
3.3% lead and 0.02 oz/t (0.9 g/t) gold. The fault is marked as a chargeability
anomaly with some depth on the IP survey.
NWT has an option to earn a 70% interest in Picachos from Yamana Gold as
announced in a press release dated July 12, 2006.

Quality Assurance

Sampling was supervised by Michelle Robinson, MASc., P.Eng., who is a
qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and a consultant to
NWT Uranium. Ms. Robinson has supervised the preparation of and verified all
data in this press release. All samples were cut and bagged, then security
sealed. Samples were submitted to Chemex Labs in Hermosillo for preparation
and for analysis in Vancouver, Canada. Silver and base metals were analyzed
using ICP-AES methods on a 5 gram sample pulp digested in hot aqua regia. Gold
was analyzed using conventional fire assay of a 50 gram sample pulp with
atomic absorption. Samples with more than 200 g/t silver, and 1% lead, zinc or
copper (overlimits) were re-assayed.

IP (induzierte Polarisation) Messung sowie Gesteinsuntersuchungen in dem
Gebiet Los Cochis durchgeführt, einer der vier Edelmetall-Regionen, die and
das Picachos-Gelände angrenzen. Diese Arbeiten wurden durchgeführt, damit
wir gewährleisten können, dass NWT und seine Gesellschafter den vollen Wert
aus dieser Anlage schöpfen. Untersuchungsergebnisse aus den Proben von

El Fresno zeichnet sich durch seine hohe geo-chemische Silberkonzentration
aus, in einem Gebiet der Größe 800 m x 500 m, das sich in ost-südöstlicher
Richtung erstreckt. Die Durchschnittswerte der 164 Proben von
Gesteinsplittern und Geröll lagen bei 328 g Silber pro Tonne, 1,62% Zink,
1,01% Blei und 0,05% Kupfer. Die meisten Proben in El Fresno wurden aus
eingesprengten Vorkommen oder stockförmigen Lagerstätten von Mineralien,
die durch Wasserläufe oder vergangene Arbeiten freigelegt worden waren,
entnommen. Die Ergebnisse weisen auf 48 Metern 56 g Silber pro Tonne, 0,4%
Blei und 1,2% Zink auf (Durchschnittsergebnis aus 34 aufeinander folgenden
Proben aus einem Gesteinsplitterkanal).

La Tijera ist eine komplexe nach Nordwesten gerichtete Störungszone im
Nordosten von El Fresno die die Einbettung von Diorit-Porphyr Intrusionen,
porphyritischen Quartz-Feldspat Monozonit Intrusionen und goldreichen
Mineralien steuert. Diese Störungszone in der tektonischen Schwächezone der
Erdkruste, die sich bis in die El Toro Region ausdehnt, acht Kilometer auf
dem Picachos-Gelände in nortwestlicher Richtung. Die
Durchschnittsergebnisse aus 47 Proben aus Gesteinsplitterkanälen und
Geröllproben aus den mineralhaltigen Bereichen der Störungszone haben 498
g/to Silber, 5,26% Zink, 3,3% Blei und 0,9 g/to Gold ergeben. Die
Störungszone wurde in der IP Messung als nutzbare Anomalie mit einer
gewissen Tiefe identifiziert.


NWT hat nunmehr die Möglichkeit, 70% der Anteile an Picachos von Yamana
Gold zu erwerben, was bereits in einer Pressemitteilung vom 12. Juli 2006

NWT expands uranium discovery zone at North Rae, Quebec

TORONTO, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is
pleased to announce additional assay results from rock grab samples collected
during ground evaluation work at the North Rae Uranium Project under option
>from Azimut Exploration Inc. in the Ungava Bay region of Quebec, Canada.
Results provide further support for NWT's exploration model, which focuses on
a large, near-surface uranium deposit that has the potential to be recovered
using low-cost bulk mining methods.
"This latest set of results adds important value to our understanding of
the widespread uranium mineralization at North Rae and underscores the area's
potential to host Canada's newest uranium district," said Marek J. Kreczmer,
President and CEO of NWT Uranium. "We are extremely pleased to see that our
Quebec rock sample results continue to fall in the range of known uranium
deposits in Namibia. At North Rae, we are targeting this same type of
high-tonnage, near-surface uranium deposit, which has the potential to be
recovered through open-pit mining."

Results

Assay results from 334 widely spaced surface rock grab samples collected
at the Jonas, Aqpiq, Rae-1 (Amittujaq), 46, Tasik, Tasialuk, Ilaluga and
Torrent zones as well as adjacent areas reveal values of up to 3.3% U(3)O(8).
Of these 334 samples, a total of 233 returned values over 0.01% U(3)O(8),
including 116 with values over 0.05% U(3)O(8) and 66 samples with values over
0.1% U(3)O(8). Samples are widely spaced, which underscores the regional
nature of the mineralized system underlying North Rae.
Assay results from the Jonas zone show 25 of 54 samples with values over
0.05% U(3)O(8), including one sample that returned 3.3% U(3)O(8) (28,000 ppm
uranium). The 25 samples were collected from an area measuring 2,296 x
721 feet (700 x 220 meters).
At Aqpiq, 43 of 48 samples reveal uranium values over 0.05% U(3)O(8),
including three samples that returned 1.74%, 1.20% and 1.07% U(3)O(8)
respectively. The three samples that returned values over 1.0% U(3)O(8) were
collected from two different areas located 984 feet (300 meters) apart. The
zone at Aqpiq extends over a 3,280 x 984 foot (1,000 meter x 300 meter) area.
At Amittujaq, 8 of 11 samples returned uranium values over 0.05%
U(3)O(8). The eight samples are distributed over a length of 11,500 feet
(3,505 meters).
All 12 samples collected at Zone 46 revealed uranium values over 0.02%
U(3)O(8). Zone 46 contains a radioactive area measuring 200 meters by 1,000
meters. The sample zone covers a total length of 720 feet (220 meters).
At Tasik, 14 of 16 samples returned uranium values over 0.02% U(3)O(8).
The 14 samples are distributed over a length of 2,460 feet (750 meters).
Assay results from the Tasialuk zone show 17 of 28 samples with uranium
values over 0.02% U(3)O(8). The 17 samples cover a 1,300-foot (396-meter)
area.
At Ilaluga, 23 of 43 samples returned uranium values over 0.02% U(3)O(8).
The 23 samples cover a total length of 3740 feet (1,140 meters).
Samples from the Torrent zone were also evaluated, with 17 of 73 samples
returning values above 0.02% U(3)O(8). The 17 samples are distributed over a
total length of 3,280 feet (1,000 meters).
Uranium values in all eight zones are related to pegmatic dykes as
individual dykes or dyke swarms in contact with gneissic rocks
(sulphide-bearing paragneiss, granitic gneiss). The dykes are sub-horizontal
or sub-vertical to steeply dipping. A map showing the location of the eight
zones will be made available on the NWT Uranium web site at

Additional rock sample results from the 2007 ground exploration program
will be announced as they are received and compiled.
Some of the assays returned were below the detection limits of the
analytical techniques used to analyze samples. A total of 49 samples were
collected in areas adjacent to the zones listed above.
NWT has the right to earn up to 65% ownership of North Rae from Azimut
Exploration Inc., as announced in a press release dated March 6, 2006.
Initial assay results were detailed in a press release dated October 16,

Quality Assurance

Grab samples from all zones, collected during 2007 ground evaluation,
were submitted to Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon for analysis
using aqua regia partial digestion followed by ICP. Industry standard Quality
Control/Quality Assurance protocols have been implemented, including insertion
of certified reference material.
Samples were collected at surface or near surface after small blasting
using the Boulder Buster technique (29 sites, 52 samples, average sampling
depth of 30cm).

WKN A0MYD8, ISIN CA62948B1004) freut sich, weitere Ergebnisse aus vom Feld abgezogenen Proben bekannt geben zu können, die im Rahmen der Bodenprobenahme beim North Rae-Uranprojekt unter der Leitung von Azimut Exploration Inc. in der Region Ungava Bay in Quebec, Kanada, genommen wurden. Die Ergebnisse stützen das Erschließungsmodell von NWT, bei dem man von einem großen, Oberflächen nahen Uranvorkommen ausgeht, das eventuell mit Hilfe von wenig kostenintensiven Fördermethoden in großen Mengen abgebaut werden kann.

'Diese neueste Ergebnisreihe ist sehr wichtig für unsere Kenntnis der weit verbreiteten Uranmineralisierung bei North Rae und bestätigt das Potenzial des Gebiets als Kanadas neueste Urangegend', erklärte Marek J. Ergebnisse

Die Ergebnisse der Proben aus 334 weiter auseinander liegenden Feldoberflächen, die in den Gebieten Jonas, Aqpiq, Rae-1 (Amittujaq), 46, Tasik, Tasialuk, Ilaluga und Torrent sowie in den angrenzenden Gebieten entnommen wurden, weisen Werte von bis zu 3,3 % U3O8 auf. Von diesen 334 Proben hatten insgesamt 233 Werte von über 0,01 % U3O8, davon 116 mit Werten von mehr als 0,05 % U3O8 und 66 Proben mit Werten von über 0,1% U3O8. Die Proben wurden in großer Entfernung voneinander entnommen, was den regionalen Charakter des mineralisierten Systems im Boden von North Rae betont.

Bei den Ergebnissen aus den Proben der Region Jonas weisen 25 von 54 Proben Werte von mehr als 0,05 % U3O8 auf, darunter eine Probe mit einem Wert von 3,3 % U3O8 (28.000 ppm Uran). Die 25 Proben wurden in einem Gebiet mit einer Größe von 2.296 x 721 Fuß (700 x 220 Meter) entnommen.

Bei Aqpiq wiesen 43 von 48 Proben Uranwerte von über 0,05 % U3O8 auf, darunter drei Proben mit Werten von 1,74 %, 1,20 % und 1,07 % U3O8. Die drei Proben mit einem Wert von mehr als 1,0 % U3O8 wurden in zwei verschiedenen Gebieten entnommen, die 984 Fuß (300 Meter) entfernt voneinander lagen. Das Gebiet bei Aqpiq erstreckt sich über ein Gebiet von über 3.280 x 984 Fuß (1.000 Meter x 300 Meter).

Bei Amittujaq wiesen 8 von 11 Proben Uranwerte von mehr als 0,05 % U3O8 auf. Die acht Proben verteilten sich über eine Länge von 11.500 Fuß (3.505 Meter).

Alle 12 Proben, die in Zone 46 entnommen wurden, wiesen Uranwerte von mehr als 0,02 % U3O8 auf. In Zone 46 befindet sich ein radioaktives Gebiet von 200 mal 1.000 Meters. Das Probenahmegebiet deckt eine Gesamtlänge von 720 Fuß (220 Meter) ab.

Bei Tasik wiesen 14 von 16 Proben Uranwerte von über 0,02 % U3O8 auf. Die 14 Proben verteilen sich über eine Länge von 2.460 Fuß (750 Meter).

Die Ergebnisse der Probenahme im Gebiet Tasialuk zeigten, dass 17 von 28 Proben Uranwerte von mehr als 0,02 % U3O8 hatten. Die 17 Proben decken eine Fläche von 1.300 Fuß (396 Meter) ab.

Bei Ilaluga zeigten 23 von 43 Proben Uranwerte von mehr als 0,02 % U3O8. Die 23 Proben decken eine Gesamtlänge von 3740 Fuß (1.140 Metern) ab.

Die Auswertung der Proben aus dem Torrent-Gebiet ergab ebenfalls, dass 17 von 73 Proben bei Werten von über 0,02 % U3O8 lagen. Die 17 Proben sind über eine Gesamtlänge von 3.280 Fuß (1.000 Meter) verteilt.

Die Uranwerte in allen acht Gebieten stehen im Zusammenhang mit Pegmatitgängen in Form von vereinzelten Gängen oder Gangscharen in Berührung mit Gneisfels (Sulfithaltiger Paragneis, granitischer Gneis). Die Gänge sind subhorizontal oder subvertikal bis steil abfallend angeordnet. Eine Karte, auf der die acht Gebiete eingezeichnet sind, wird von auf der Homepage von NWT Uranium unter www.nwturanium.com zur Verfügung gestellt.

Weitere Probenahmeergebnisse, von Probenahmen im Rahmen des Bodenerschließungsprogramms werden bekannt gegeben, sobald sie vorliegen und zusammengestellt wurden.

Einige der Proben lagen unterhalb der Nachweisgrenze der Analysemethoden, die für die Analyse der Proben verwendet werden. Insgesamt 49 Proben sind in den angrenzenden Gebieten der oben aufgeführten Zonen entnommen worden.

NWT verfügt über das Recht, bis zu 65 % der Besitztumsrechte an North Rae von Azimut Exploration Inc. zu erwerben. Dies würde in einer Pressemitteilung vom 06. März 2006 bekannt gegeben.

Qualitätssicherung

Aus allen Gebieten abgezogene Proben, die im Rahmen der Bodenanalyse 2007 genommen wurden, wurden zur Analyse mit Hilfe der partiellen Aqua Regia-Verdauung unter Einhaltung des der standardmäßigen Protokolle der Branche zur Qualitätskontrolle / Qualitätssicherung (ICP) beim Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon eingeschickt. Die ICPs wurden unter Einschluss des zugelassenen Referenzmaterials umgesetzt.

Die Proben wurden nach einem leichten Abstrahlen an der Oberfläche oder oberflächennah mit Hilfe der Boulder Buster-Technik genommen (29 Stellen, 52 Proben, durchschnittliche Probenahmetiefe 30cm).

Nu-Mex Uranium Corp. and NWT Uranium Corp. sign letter agreement for a business combination

ALBUQUERQUE and VANCOUVER, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - Nu-Mex Uranium Corp.
("Nu-Mex") and NWT Uranium Corp. ("NWT") have today entered into a letter
agreement (the "Letter Agreement") that contemplates the acquisition of NWT by
Nu-Mex. The Letter Agreement requires that the two companies enter into a
definitive agreement no later than December 20, 2007, and that the definitive
agreement will contain customary conditions to closing, including the required
approvals from the Ontario Court of Superior Justice, the TSX Venture Exchange
(the "Exchange") and the shareholders of NWT. The proposed transaction is also
subject to Nu-Mex arranging a financing of not less than $10 million and up to
$25 million which is to close concurrently with the completion of the
transaction. Additionally, the proposed transaction is subject to NWT's
receipt of a favourable fairness opinion and to the shares of common stock of
Nu-Mex being listed on a Canadian stock exchange.
Under the terms of the Letter Agreement the proposed transaction is
expected to be effected by way of a statutory plan of arrangement (the "POA")
under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario). It is expected that the POA
will contemplate the acquisition of all of the NWT shares, directly or
indirectly by Nu-Mex in exchange for Nu-Mex shares. NWT security-holders will
receive an appropriate number of Nu-Mex securities in exchange for their NWT
securities.
The Letter Agreement contemplates an exchange ratio of one third (1/3) of
one share of Nu-Mex common stock for every issued and outstanding common share
of NWT. Any outstanding options, warrants and similar rights to acquire common
shares of NWT will be exchanged for analogous options, warrants and similar
rights to acquire common shares of Nu-Mex at the same exchange ratio.
The Letter Agreement imposes a mutual standstill on Nu-Mex and NWT during
its term. In the event that the Letter Agreement is terminated and either
party accepts a superior proposal, the Letter Agreement imposes a cash break
fee of 2% of the market capitalization of NWT, subject to a minimum amount of
CDN$5 million.
Nu-Mex and NWT are arm's length parties, and the insiders of each are
also all at arm's length. It is presently anticipated that upon completion of
the POA, each of Richard M. Cherry, Ganpat Mani, James D. Brown, Jas Butalia
and D. Bruce Horton from Nu-Mex and Marek J. Kreczmer from NWT and one
additional director from NWT will be added to the Nu-Mex board and that Mr.
Kreczmer will become the President and Chief Executive Officer and Mr. William
D. Thomas will become the Chief Financial Officer of Nu-Mex.
Nu-Mex anticipates that the Nu-Mex securities will be issued to NWT
security holders pursuant to exemptions from the registration and prospectus
requirements of applicable Canadian and United States securities laws. In
particular, Nu-Mex proposes that the transaction be structured in a manner
that will entitle Nu-Mex to rely on the exemption from the registration
requirements of the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the
"1933 Act") provided for in section 3(a)(10) of the 1933 Act.
There is no guarantee that a definitive agreement will be entered into,
or if entered into, that it will complete.

Completion of the transaction is subject to a number of conditions,
including Exchange acceptance and disinterested shareholder approval. The
transaction cannot close until the required shareholder approval is obtained.

or at all.

merged with its newly incorporated and wholly-owned subsidiary, Nu-Mex Uranium
Corp. The merger was completed on 4 June 2007, and Ancor Resources Inc., as
the surviving corporation, changed its name to Nu-Mex Uranium Corp.
Effective September 14, 2007, Nu-Mex entered into an Option and Joint
Venture Agreement with Strathmore Resources (US) Ltd. ("Strathmore"), pursuant
to which Nu-Mex obtained an option to acquire up to a 65% interest in
Strathmore's Nose Rock exploration-stage property, in consideration for making
certain payments to Strathmore and making certain expenditures on the property
as described in more detail in Note 3(a) to the interim financial statements
included in Nu-Mex's quarterly report on Form 10-QSB for the period ended
August 31, 2007 (the "Form 10-QSB"). The Nose Rock property is located
northeast of Crownpoint within the Grants Mineral Belt in the State of New

Effective October 5, 2007, Nu-Mex entered into an Option and Joint
Venture Agreement with Strathmore, pursuant to which Nu-Mex obtained an option

making certain expenditures on the property as described in more detail in
Note 3(b) to the interim financial statements included in the Form 10-QSB. The
Dalton Pass property consists of certain federal lode mining claims located

Pursuant to a mineral property staking and purchase agreement dated
January 28, 2005, Nu-Mex also agreed to acquire a 100% undivided right, title
and interest in a gold/silver/copper mineral claim unit located in the Alberni
Mining Division of British Columbia, Canada for a cash payment of $2,015.
However, Nu-Mex has decided not to proceed with this property.

NWT Uranium completes drill program in Mexico

TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is
pleased to announce the successful completion of its first drill program at
the 19,000-acre (7,700-hectare) Picachos project in Durango, Mexico. In total,
21 reverse circulation (RC) holes were drilled covering 10,254 feet
(3,125.5 meters) and samples have been shipped to Acme Analytical Laboratories
for analysis. Drilling at Los Cochis tested the El Fresno target, which is
characterized by high silver geochemistry on surface. Specifically, rock
chip-channel and grab samples returned individual values of up to 145 ounces
per ton (4,975 grams per tonne) silver, 0.25 oz/t (8.61 g/t) gold, 53% zinc as
well as 50% lead.
"Based on visual logging and on-site hand-held instrument X-ray analysis
of the drill samples, 18 of 21 holes contain zinc and silver mineralization,"
said Marek J. Kreczmer, President and CEO of NWT Uranium. "Mineralization
occurs as veins and disseminations in propylitic altered andesitic rocks of
the Lower Volcanic Group. While higher-grade intervals of mineralization
related to veining were intercepted in several holes, NWT is particularly
excited about the possibility that wider intervals of disseminated
mineralization may carry enough silver, gold, lead and zinc for a
large-tonnage, open pit mine."
In total, 2,050 samples were collected from the 21 holes. The samples
have been shipped to Acme Analytical Laboratories in Guadalajara for
multi-element and gold analysis. Analyses and findings will be reported upon
receipt and compilation of results. Drilling was conducted by Layne de Mexico
SA.
The El Fresno target is characterized by high silver geochemistry in a
2,625-foot by 1,640-foot (800-meter by 500-meter) area. Results from previous
exploration work included 157 feet (48 meters) of 1.6 oz/t (56 g/t) silver,
0.4% lead and 1.2% zinc (average result of 34 continuous chip-channel samples
across mainly disseminated mineralization).
NWT has an option to earn a 70% interest in Picachos from Yamana Gold as
announced in a press release dated July 12, 2006.

Quality Assurance

Sampling was supervised by Michelle Robinson, MASc., PEng, who is a
qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and a consultant to
NWT Uranium. Ms. Robinson has supervised the preparation of and verified all
data in this press release. Samples will be assayed by Acme Analytical
Laboratories using ICP-MS methods. Anomalous values will be re-assayed using
the FA 30 method. Approximately 150 samples will be submitted to a different
laboratory for confirmation.

NWT Uranium updates shareholders on letter agreement for a business combination with Nu-Mex

TORONTO, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) is
pleased to provide its shareholders with additional details regarding its
previously announced letter agreement with Nu-Mex Uranium Corp. (OTCBB: NUMX).
As described in a press release issued on November 19, 2007, NWT Uranium,
with uranium properties in northern Quebec, and Nu-Mex with uranium properties
in New Mexico, have signed a letter agreement pursuant to which Nu-Mex has
agreed to acquire the issued and outstanding shares of NWT.
"We believe that this transaction will be of great benefit to NWT Uranium
and its shareholders," said Marek J. Kreczmer, President and CEO of NWT
Uranium. "Nu-Mex has the ability to earn a majority interest in two highly
prospective uranium properties and it was these potential assets that drew us
to the combination.

Nose Rock and Dalton Pass

Nu-Mex currently has the option to acquire a 65% interest in each of two
highly prospective uranium properties, called Nose Rock and Dalton Pass, in
New Mexico from Strathmore Minerals Corp.
Significant work has been done by previous operators on both properties.
No qualified person has done sufficient recent work to classify the historical
estimates under National Instrument ("NI") 43-101.
Located within New Mexico's Grants Mineral Belt, Nose Rock covers 5,000
acres (2,023 hectares). In February, 1977, a feasibility study was completed
based on more than 470 holes drilled by Phillips (now Conoco-Phillips), which
owned and explored the property in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The study
was produced by Morrison Knutson, renowned for its work on the Alaska
Pipeline, Hoover Dam and Oakland Bay Bridge. There is also a partially
developed shaft on the property, which will aid in exploration and development
work.
Also located in New Mexico, the Dalton Pass property covers a total area
of 640 acres. A previous operator, Pathfinder Mining Company (a subsidiary of
nuclear giant Areva), drilled over 130 holes.
NWT Uranium's properties, which will be held by the combined company,
include North Rae and Daniel Lake, exploration-stage properties in Quebec
where the original results suggest a large potential resource. NWT's Picachos
property in Mexico is a highly prospective silver-gold project where
exploration drilling is ongoing. NWT also holds nearly 32,000,000 shares in
Niger Uranium Limited (www.niger-uranium.com) listed on AIM Exchange in
London, a company that holds several properties in the African republic of
Niger.

A powerful new uranium player

According to the terms of the letter agreement, Nu-Mex will acquire
NWT Uranium on a three-for-one basis - that is, three shares of NWT will be
exchanged for one share of Nu-Mex. As part of the transaction, Nu-Mex will
arrange a financing of between $10 million and $25 million. The two companies
must enter a definitive agreement by December 20, 2007, and Nu-Mex must
deliver a NI 43-101 compliant technical report for its Nose Rock property. In
addition, it is a condition that Nu-Mex shares will be listed on a Canadian
exchange.
The definitive agreement is subject to approval by NWT Uranium
shareholders, the Ontario Court of Superior Justice and the TSX Venture
Exchange, and requires a favorable fairness opinion. If these approvals are
received, the combined company will have a cash position of between
$24 million and $40 million, without giving effect to expenditures to be made,
which includes NWT's current $14 million cash position and the $10 million to
$25 million financing, which is being raised as part of the transaction.
Nu-Mex currently has approximately 33 million shares outstanding.
NWT Uranium has approximately 108 million shares outstanding. According to the
valuation of three NWT Uranium shares to one Nu-Mex share, NWT Uranium's
shares will consolidate to approximately 36 million shares. This will give the
combined company a total of approximately 70 million shares, without giving
effect to the shares to be issued as part of the financing.

Complementary experience

Mr. Kreczmer will lead the combined company, helping to ensure that NWT
Uranium's shareholders are well served by the acquisition.
Nu-Mex executives bring extensive complementary experience in uranium
exploration, extraction and marketing. Richard Cherry, a Nu-Mex director, is a
veteran executive of the nuclear industry. He has worked for leading companies
in the areas of uranium mining, production, conversion, marketing and power
generation for over 34 years. Ganpat Mani, also a Nu-Mex director, is an
experienced marketing executive with strong skills in negotiating long-term
multi-million-dollar contracts with major private and state-owned
corporations.
William D. Thomas, currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NWT

NWT Uranium responds to unsolicited takeover bid

today announced that it has received an unsolicited proposal from a third
party to enter into a transaction pursuant to which that third party would
acquire all of NWT's outstanding shares for consideration consisting of
securities of that third party.

favorable to NWT's share holders, from a financial point of view, than the

NWT Uranium: No merit to Azimut 'Notice of Default' for Quebec properties

TORONTO, Dec. 20 /CNW/ - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWURF) has
been provided by Azimut Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: AZM) with a letter alleging
default (the "Notice of Default") with respect to the option agreements
covering the North Rae and Daniel Lake uranium properties in Quebec.
NWT believes that the allegations made by Azimut are without merit.
NWT further believes that the Notice of Default is part of a strategy
aimed at derailing the business combination proposed between NWT and Nu-Mex
Uranium Corp. (OTCBB: NUMX), which was detailed in a press release dated
November 19, 2007. On December 12, 2007, Azimut submitted an unsolicited
expression of interest to acquire NWT, which was subsequently rejected. This
unsolicited expression of interest was the subject of a NWT press release on
December 17, 2007.
"NWT and its contractors have conducted themselves in an exemplary
fashion while carrying out exploration of the North Rae and Daniel Lake
properties through difficult labor and weather conditions in a remote
location. In nearly four months of field work, NWT as operator has advanced
the project, covering 305,000 acres (1,235 square kilometers), from airborne
surveys to drill testing," said Marek J. Kreczmer, President and CEO of
NWT Uranium. "The allegations made by Azimut are without merit and we intend
to provide ample documentation to Azimut to support our position."
As detailed in its unsolicited expression of interest, Azimut was
prepared to offer 0.1475 common shares of Azimut for each NWT share. After a
comprehensive evaluation of the Azimut offer and in consultation with its
financial advisors, an independent committee of NWT's Board of Directors
concluded that the terms of the proposed offer were unlikely to result in a
transaction that is more favorable to NWT's shareholders from a financial
point of view than the existing letter agreement with Nu-Mex. As such, and in
accordance with the terms of NWT's existing agreement with Nu-Mex, NWT
informed Azimut shortly after 1pm PST on December 17, 2007 that it was unable
to enter into negotiations with respect to the proposed transaction with
Azimut.
Less than four hours later, at around 5pm PST, NWT received the Notice of
Default from Azimut.
It is NWT's intent to respond to Azimut's concerns promptly and with
assistance from legal counsel.
In the meantime, NWT continues to work towards the completion of a
definitive agreement with Nu-Mex Uranium, which, as per the letter agreement,
is expected to be signed no later than Thursday, December 20, 2007.

today announced additional assay results from rock grab samples collected
during ground evaluation work at the North Rae Uranium Project in the Ungava
Bay region of northern Quebec, Canada. Of note, samples taken near the
northern limits of the property reveal uranium mineralization approximately
5.3 miles (8.5 kilometers) north of previously identified zones. The results
underscore the regional nature of the system and further support NWT's
exploration model, which is targeting a high-tonnage, near-surface uranium
deposit amenable to open-pit mining. North Rae is under option from Azimut
Exploration Inc.
"These latest results confirm the potential of North Rae as a world-class

Results

Assay results from 27 widely spaced surface rock grab samples collected
from the southern portion of the Tasik zone, the Torrent zone and areas
located near North Rae's northern property boundary reveal values of up to
0.89% U(3)O(8). Of these 27 samples, a total of 23 returned values over
0.01% U(3)O(8), including nine with values over 0.1% U(3)O(8). All samples are
widely spaced, underscoring the regional nature of the mineralized system.
At Tasik, 8 of 23 samples reveal uranium values over 0.1% U(3)O(8). The
23 samples were collected from an area measuring 328 x 492 feet (100 x
150 meters). Uranium values at Tasik are related to a series of pegmatic dykes
injected in gneissic rocks (sulphide-bearing paragneiss, granitic gneiss).
The two samples taken near North Rae's northern limits returned values of
0.113% and 0.044% U(3)O(8). These results confirm the presence of uranium
5.3 miles (8.5 kilometers) north of previously identified zones of
mineralization.

0.1% U(3)O(8).

analytical techniques used to analyze samples.
NWT has the right to earn up to 65% ownership of North Rae from Azimut
Exploration Inc., as announced in a press release dated March 6, 2006.

Quality Assurance

Grab samples from all zones, collected during 2007 ground evaluation,
were submitted to Saskatchewan Research Council of Saskatoon for analysis
using aqua regia partial digestion followed by ICP. Industry standard Quality

of certified reference material
Samples were collected at surface or near surface after small blasting
using the Boulder Buster technique (average sampling depth of 30cm).

Ergebnisse

Bei Tasik zeigen 8 von 23 Proben Uranwerte über 0.1% U3O8. Die 23 Proben
wurden auf einer Fläche gesammelt, die 328 x 492 Fuß (100 x 150 Meter)
misst. Uranwerte bei Tasik beziehen sich auf eine Reihe pegmatischer Dykes,

NWT Updates Shareholders on Niger Uranium 2008 Exploration Program

pleased to update its shareholders regarding the activities of Niger Uranium
Corp., of which NWT is the largest shareholder.
Niger Uranium\\\'s 2007-2008 field program at Irhazer and In Gall commenced
in November, according to a quarterly filing issued in late December by the
company. Work will be completed in stages, with the first phase scheduled to
include 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) of diamond drilling to test prospective
targets located along structures that host existing uranium mines. The second
phase is designed to follow-up on earlier results and is scheduled to include
up to 24,600 feet (7,500 meters) of additional drilling.
Concurrent with the drill program, Niger Uranium plans to trench and
sample several targets to test for mineralization, geology and structure. In
addition, grids indicating historical drill sites will be re-established and,
where possible, will be tested by down-hole radiometrics.

0.22% U(3)O(8) to 1.0% U(3)O(8) from five surface rock samples collected from
outcrops, as reported in a press release on May 29, 2007, available on SEDAR
at www.sedar.com. These samples were submitted for re-analysis after they
exceeded the detection limits of uranium tests routinely used to analyze
samples from Niger. Producing mines and deposits in Niger typically grade from
0.1% to 0.42% U(3)O(8), with the highest grades being mined at greater depths.

Niger Uraniums 2007-2008 Feldprogramm in Irhazer und In Gall wurde im November begonnen, wie man einer Quartalsinformation entnehmen kann, die Ende Dezember von dem Unternehmen herausgegeben wurde. Die Arbeiten werden in mehreren Stufen abgeschlossen. In der ersten Phase ist geplant, eine Diamantbohrung von 8 200 Fuß (2 500 Meter) vorzunehmen, um potentielle Vorkommen zu testen, die entlang Strukturen liegen, die bereits bestehende Uranminen beherbergen. announces that on January 30, 2008, it has received from NWT Uranium
Corporation ("NWT") a Curative Notice, together with documentation and data,

Die Ergebnisse der Oberflächen-Gesteinsproben zeigen einen U3O8-Gehalt von bis zu 0,98 %

Toronto - 14. Februar 2008 - NWT Uranium Corp. (WKN A0MYD8, ISIN CA62948B1004) ist erfreut, seinen Aktionären eine weitere Aktualisierung hinsichtlich der Aktivitäten von Niger Uranium Limited, für das NWT den größten Anteilseigner mit einer Eigentümerschaft von 38,5 % darstellt, bereitzustellen.

So wie von Niger Uranium bereits in einer Pressemitteilung vom 28. Januar 2008 angekündigt, haben in Irhazer und In Gall die Phase-1-Bohrungen und -Grabungen begonnen. Die Bohrungen werden derzeit fortgesetzt und umfassen 18 Bohrlöcher von insgesamt 8.200 Fuß (2.500 Meter) Länge. Die Fertigstellung ist für März 2008 geplant. Momentan hat Niger Uranium 1.150 Fuß (352 Meter) an Tri-Cone-Bohrlöchern fertig gestellt und die radiometrische Untersuchung wird durchgeführt.

Das Ziel der Bohrungen ist eine große Tagebauressource, in der eine Reihe von Oberflächenproben und das geologische Mapping eine umfangreiche und geschichtete Mineralisierung zeigen, die an der Oberfläche offen liegt. Die Phase-2-Bohrungen, die momentan über 24.600 Fuß (7.500 Meter) geplant sind, sollen planmäßig im April beginnen.

Niger Uranium hat ebenfalls berichtet, dass die Erdarbeiten für die nördlichen und strukturell kontrollierten Ziele in Irhazer und In Gall schon begonnen haben. Der Beginn für Mapping, Bodenmagnetismus und Track-Etch-Radonerkennung wird für Anfang Februar erwartet. Oberflächen-Gesteinsproben aus dem Zielgebiet, die im Jahr 2007 genommen und im Januar 2008 analysiert wurden, reichen von 45 bis 9.829 ppm (0,98 % U3O8) und bestätigen den hochpotentiellen Charakter dieser Zielgebiete. Die Ergebnisse aller Proben und eine Karte mit einer Darstellung der Probenahme sind auf der Website von Niger Uranium unter www.niger-uranium.com verfügbar.

Zusätzlich hat Niger Uranium auch einen bedeutenden Datensatz von Areva erhalten, in dem große Mengen an historischen Daten zu den Lizenzgebieten und benachbarten Gebieten enthalten sind.
