Die Realität zeigt, dass der Kurs zuletzt 20% zugelegt hat (unter teils steigenden Volumina) und der Lithium ETF sich in AVZ Minerals eingekauft hat. Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Fondsmanager weder eine drohende Pleite noch ein Delisting als realistisch einstufen. Im Gegensatz dazu scheinen die Fondsmanager auf aktuellem Niveau ein attraktives Einstiegsszenario gefunden zu haben.

Obviously Global X Lithium ETF are smart buying 17,000,000 AVZ NOW! and counting with many price catalysts to come. They also have a preference for AVZ when we compare their purchases to PLS and have bought little of the brine stock AGY. I would think they realise that hard rock is the preferred lithium for battery makers with the move to lithium hydroxide.
Global Lithium obviously see lithium sentiment turning around; we have reached the bottom and are on our way up!
You can be too cute when you buy... Know one knows exactly for instance when AVZ's next catalysts will hit. All we know is that we expect them(have been given directives) short to medium term.
Global Lithium Fund are not going to worry about a few pips in the 4's or 5's because they know that these catalysts can easily put a rocket under the SP so we could be at 10's very quickly. They also know that we have much greater potential to bag than producers(PLS) with many more price catalysts to come. I myself have bought more in this range because I will not be saying to myself, if only!
AVZ Short to Medium Term Price Catalysts:
-new Chairman(chosen-waiting on start date)
-AVZ expected to increase 5-10% stake in company from Comminiere increasing significantly AVZ's bottom line.(waiting for Government to finalise)
-full completion of metallurgicals confirming AVZ's superior product of high grade with the least deleterious elements which could give the green light to potential funders/offtakers.(due imminently) (old and new potential deposits just do not have the battery grade specs of AVZ's product!)
-funding of project
-5 year tax holiday
-DFS Q1
-beginning mine construction

Went back to this earlier post of mine and can see from this quarterly they are essentially saying they are putting in the framework to ensure 2021/22 production start date. The elements of that I put in this post on what needs doing especially around i.) the MET tests and how it translates to a DMS style process flow sheet to drill, ii.) need to drain the lake and under it to maximise the mining plan, and iii.) deal with the transport and funding issues, all obvious points - Post #: 40974663 This Ann shows the progress but the imposed deadline of construction start up end 2020 is very very very tight, but they still need to conclude the crush size to be adopted for the DMS based process flowsheet (noting the process flowsheet needs to be able to retrofit a floatation option in due course). As per this embedded post in the paragraph, a a sound Chairman appointment is critical IMO
Current cash flow resources is ok IMO to allow DFS completion and a few other things (especially with Option conversion), but obviously they will need to deal with the issue of project finance.
A key though, as they need to move quickly from DFS to FID (Final Investment Decision), is going to be equity for Offtake Agreements as I suspect that is what will provide the quickest basis to get to production in that timeframe (and for a FID decision to be made relatively quickly after DFS). Time for AVZ to tell Hauyou to put up or shut up and start the process now of looking elsewhere for funding..
In any event securing 'external funding' through lenders will still require Offtake Agreements to be had, i.e. here talking just Offtake Agreements and not equity for Offtake Agreements, so if DFS finishes 1st quarter 2020 (meaning FID required say no end June quarter 2020 to end Sept quarter 2020) then Offtakes need to be finalised in the next 6 months to 9 months. Infact, what would underpin the DFS especially if some of these are concluded in the next few months, by starting off as Letters of Intent/MOUs that become binding if, for example, AVZ makes the FID decision by say end May 2020 etc etc. That is hitting milestones.
If you look at PLS the offtake agreements they had occurred prior to DFS stage (i.e. they became binding as milestones were hit etc etc) and that is what is required here IMO to secure funding and a commencement construction date as per this Ann of end 2020. Will NF hit these milestones, well the jury is out on this IMO, but he needs to start kicking goals through meeting these timelines (given the fact he hasn't hit many self imposed timelines in the past).
My gut feel, as i have posted in the past, has been that AVZ will likely enter the market around 2022/23 at a 2mtpa - 3 mtpa ore feed configuration and then expanding to 5 mtpa around 2025 IMO (given supply/demand scenarios - Post #: 39799752 Suspect the DFS will also have a ramp up stage to supply etc etc etc etc Obviously this Ann has the timeline slightly earlier than my own views so if NF can meet that timeline well that will be great.
