So heute Abend soll es ja ein Business Update geben. Ich bin gespannt ob wieder nur gejubelt wird oder ob auch wirklich Lösungen präsentiert werden.

Und wie soll eine börsennotierte Firma wie DSM einen gestressten Laden wie Amyris übernehmen, wenn nicht mal Amyris selbst weiß wie es um sie steht? Zwei Auditoren haben das Handtuch ja bereits geworfen.

Davon mal abgesehen, DSM hat bereits alles was sie brauchen.

Die verbleibende Forschung um ein paar biotechnische Zielmoleküle macht macht man besser in Kooperation und kauft dafür nicht den ganzen Laden. Eine Milliarde U$ Verlustvorträge in der Amyris könnte DSM eh nicht nutzen. Soviel Geschäft haben sie in den USA nicht.

Amyris wird weiter fallen und immer teurer Geld beschaffen müssen (toxic convertible notes) oder bankrott gehen.

Meiner Meinung nach wäre es am wahrscheinlichsten das DSM übernimmt. Aber ich glaube nicht daran. Wenn die Firma endlich mal ihre Probleme bzgl Schulden und verzögerten Filings in den Griff bekommt, kann da richtig was gutes entstehen. Die Technik ist faszinierend.

Na mal sehen wohin die Reise jetzt geht. Erst stellt man den Superprofi fürs Geldeinsammeln ein als CFO, dann fliegt einem die Berichterstattung um die Ohren und dann erwartet man aus der verspäteten und korrigierten Berichterstattung auch noch, dass es mit der Firma nicht weitergeht.

Amyris, Inc. (the “Company”) was unable to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2019 (the “Form 10-Q”) within theprescribed time period without unreasonable effort and expense.

As previously announced, on April 5, 2019, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directorsof the Company, after consultation with management of the Company and KPMG LLP, the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm, determined that the Company will restate its interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the quarterly and year-to-date periods ended March 31,2018, June 30, 2018 and September 30, 2018, included in the Company’s Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarters ended March 31, 2018, June30, 2018 and September 30, 2018, respectively (collectively, the “Non-Reliance Periods”).

As part of the restatement process, the Company is continuing to assess the adjustments to its financial statements for the Non-Reliance Periods as well as its financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2018(“Fiscal 2018”), which will be included in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for Fiscal 2018 (the “10-K”).

In addition, the Company is in the process of finalizing its evaluation of internal control over financial reporting and expects to report material weaknesses in addition to the material weakness reported in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2017. The Company has reached a conclusion that its system of internal control over financial reporting is not effective as of December 31, 2018. In addition, the Company expects to continue to report that there is substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.

Ja so hohe Volatilität habe ich lange nicht gesehen. Bin heute am frühen nachmittag neben meiner Langfrist Position mal noch ne Trading Position eingegangen. Der eine Insider hat für ca 4,4 Mio zu 4,72 Dollar gekauft und ich spekuliere einfach mal dass noch was an guten Nachrichten reinkommt.
