Maple Gold Mines Releases Initial 3D Modelling Results from the Past-Producing High-Grade Telbel Mine at JoutelVancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 16, 2021) - Maple Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: MGM) (OTCQB: MGMLF) (FSE: M3G) ("Maple Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to release preliminary 3D modelling results from Phase II of a three-phase review of historical drill data at the past-producing, high-grade Telbel underground mine ("Telbel") at the Joutel Gold Project ("Joutel") in Quebec, Canada. Joutel is held by a 50-50 joint venture ("JV") between the Company and Agnico Eagle Mines Limited ("Agnico"). The Phase II work program (see news from May 10, 2021) involved further data verification and analysis of approximately 250,000 metres ("m") of historical drill results and the construction of a new 3D model for drill targeting.

We are pleased to have launched the second half of the year with a highly strategic transaction that consolidates a key segment of the past-producing 1.1 Moz Eagle-Telbel mine trend at the Joutel Gold Project.
This month, we announced the option to acquire the Eagle Mine Property, which will allow us to systematically explore the entire 6-kilometre-long gold system that hosted the Eagle, Telbel and Eagle West mines. Since its decommissioning, the Eagle mine has seen only limited regional exploration over the past 28 years.
It is incredibly exciting to have rediscovered Agnico Eagle’s former namesake mine (the "Eagle" in Agnico Eagle) with so much remaining potential. We see near-term opportunities to extend high-grade gold mineralization around and below the historic mine workings throughout the Eagle-Telbel mine area.
Our high conviction view on the deposit’s size and grade potential is based on the ongoing work by the MGM-AEM joint venture to digitize, verify and model over 250,000 metres of historical drilling data within and surrounding the Telbel mine, which is located roughly 1.5 kilometres southeast of the Eagle mine and is in fact connected to Eagle via an underground cross-drift. Digitizing and verifying analog drill data and creating a 3D model around data of such magnitude has been both thrilling and a welcome challenge for our team.
It had been our hope to put out preliminary results of our 3D modelling work at Telbel work by now; however, this endeavour has also been impacted by the recent addition of the Eagle Mine Property. We ask for your patience as we work diligently to expand our 3D model and targeting along this entire trend and unveil our findings in the coming weeks. I continue to believe that it will be worth the wait.

Major developments in H1/2021:
• Closing of JV transaction with Agnico Eagle in February
• Analyst coverage launched by Rob Stitt of Couloir Capital in April (email for report)
• Completion of ~10,000-metre JV Winter Drill Campaign at Douay in April
• Digitization on ~250,000 metres of historical drill data completed at Joutel in May
• Analyst coverage launched by Michael Gray of Agentis Capital in May (email for report)
• Announcement of initial results from the JV Winter Drill Program in May and June, including one of the best intercepts ever drilled at Douay.
We are pleased with our progress in 2021 despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on assay lab turnaround times, which remain slow but are showing signs of returning to more reasonable levels. It means results are building up in the news queue and we look forward to releasing the final ~70% of winter drilling assays in the next 30-60 days. These results are part of the ~16,000 metres of drilling within the resource area that will be incorporated into an updated resource estimate at Douay which we expect to complete in the second half of the year.
Additionally, interpretation work and targeting is only beginning on Agnico Eagle’s past-producing Joutel project, which was vended into our joint venture in February. With Phase I of digitization work on approximately 250,000 metres of historical drilling data complete and Phase II 3D modelling and verification work well underway, we are excited to show the market the remaining mineralization potential at the past-producing Telbel mine. Tja gibt j auch nix Neues zu berichten - Ausschlag war wohl das ohnehin von dir verlinkte Video von Jeff Clark ( 15 K Twitter Follower ) bei Duke - 120.000 Abonnenten auf Youtube.Als Top 1 Gold Pick mit einem Kursziel von (vorerst) 2 CAD ists ja ein toller Ausblick .
Ebenso der Kommentar vom CEO im monatlichen Newsletter, dass die Labs wohl langsam wieder zum Normalbetrieb übergehen und die restlichen 70 % der Ergebnisse des letzten Bohrprogramms innerhalb der nächsten 30 - 60 Tage zu erwarten sind. Plus das 3 D Modell von Joutel !
Dann wirds spannend wieviel heuer dann im Herbst weitergebohrt wird - langsam mit der restlichen Million von Agnico für heuer - oder positive Überraschung, dass mehr Geld als geplant in die Hand genommen wird. Resourceupdate in H2 2021 ( da erwarte ich jetzt nicht die mega Steigerung) - und dann kann 2022 mit den frischen 4 MIO von Agnico munter weitergehen.
Vor 1,5 CAD wird hier kein Stück verkauft - Frage ist nicht ob - sondern wann
5 bis 10 Millionen Unzen Resource sollte die MKT zumindest auf 500 MIO - 1 Milliarde ansiedlen dürfen
