Aber so wie ich EM und Tesla einschätze, kommt hier höchstens eine Diskussion heraus, was "original version of Tesla's Autopilot" eigentlich bedeutet.

So nach dem möglichen Motto: "Ja, wir haben's mal getestest und es hat sich dann als 'pile of trash' herausgestellt."

Wahrscheinlich auch deshalb, weil Green Hills Software so frech war, auch noch Geld dafür zu verlangen

wenn der CEO von Tesla nur wüsste, daß der CEO von SpaceX bei sich im Unternehmen auch ein kommerzielles RTOS einsetzt

Es kann allerdings mMn sein, daß dieses auch durch US-Staatsförderung finanzierte Unternehmen QNX im NASA/DoD-Umfeld quasi nehmen musste -- und nicht das "Tesla-Linux".

Aber gut, QNX ist ja auch nicht Green Hills Software, sondern ein anderes Produkt.

Wieviele Fahrer sind eigentlich mit FSD (in den USA + demnächst Kanada) unterwegs?

Es dürften mittlerweise grob geschätzt mindestens 2000 sein.

ABER: nicht alle testen auch mehr! => die Zahlen schwanken mMn also, möglicherweise auch durch Tesla gesteuert ("guter Shilll, böser Shill"):
