Unterhaltungsprodukten gibt bekannt, daß
die Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Schriften BPjS auf ihrer Sitzung vom 04.05.00 den Antrag des Jugendamtes Traunstein auf eine Indizierung der deutschen Version von Resident Evil 3 abgewiesen hat.

Die US und die Japan Version des Spiels hingegen wurden indiziert.

„ Wir sehen diese Entscheidung auch als Würdigung unserer Bemühungen, eine den deutschen Gegebenheiten angepaßten Version auf den Markt zu bringen und gleichzeitig gegen die Importe aus den USA und aus Japan rechtlich vorzugehen“ sagt Volker Rieck Business Development Director bei EIDOS INTERACTIVE (DEUTSCHLAND) GmbH.
Für Händler besteht nun, was die deutsche Version angeht, absolute Rechtssicherheit.

THQ to Publish ``Tomb Raider`` for Game Boy Color; One of the Hottest Properties in Interactive Entertainment Matched With the No. 1 Third Party Game Boy Color Publisher

CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2000-- THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI) today announced an agreement with Eidos Interactive to publish "Tomb Raider"(R) for the Game Boy(R) Color.

Developed by Core and licensed through Eidos Interactive, THQ will send the lofty "Tomb Raider" protagonist, Lara Croft, to new heights on the Game Boy Color system. "Tomb Raider" for Game Boy Color is scheduled for release in spring 2000.

Making its debut on the Game Boy Color, "Tomb Raider" hopes to be a huge success on the hand-held system. Based on the extended "Tomb Raider" adventures, in "Tomb Raider" for the Game Boy Color, Lara Croft sets out to find and protect the "Nightmare Stone." If our heroine fails to find the stone before deviant treasure hunters do, Quaxet, the evil god trapped in the "Nightmare Stone" will escape and run havoc over the Aztec, Mayan and Inca lands. "Tomb Raider" for Game Boy Color is a side-scrolling adventure filled with puzzles, pitfalls and more than 50 Lara-laden cut scenes.
