Anschliessend darf derjenige mit DCX machen was er will.
stillegt.
Vielleicht wird DCX tatsaechlich bald uebernommen ...

@Twinlab :

By Ben Klayman
DETROIT (Reuters) - The U.S. auto industry continued to lose traction in June, as a combination of rising interest rates and growing consumer debt slowed sales, analysts said on Friday.
Following a May sales decline of 2 percent, June U.S. car and light truck sales are projected to slip less than 1 percent, due to declines at the Big 3 -- General Motors Corp. (NYSE:GM - news), Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F - news) and DaimlerChrysler AG (NYSECX - news)(DCXGn.DE), analysts said.
The Big 3`s total sales should be down about 4.5 percent, analysts said. Foreign carmakers` sales, on the other hand, should be up 7-8.3 percent, thanks gains in sales of European luxury cars and South Korean small cars; Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.`s (7201.T)(RENA.PA) Xterra sport utility vehicle; Toyota Motor Corp.`s (7203.T)(NYSE:TM - news) Tundra full-size pickup; and Honda Motor Co. Ltd.`s (7267.T) Odyssey minivan.

Most automakers, including the Big 3, are scheduled to announce their June U.S. sales on Monday.
The expected dip in total U.S. vehicle sales, however, would still leave the industry on pace to match or approach last year`s record sales of 16.9 million vehicles.
``We do not believe a hard landing is likely, as the two strongest drivers of vehicle sales -- the low unemployment rate and high degree of vehicle affordability -- are at their most positive levels in 25 years,`` Lehman Bros. analyst Nicholas Lobaccaro said in a report.
``While several factors have turned negative, namely wealth effect, interest rates and oil prices, they do not have the ability to overcome the strong, orderly employment and affordability trends,`` he added.
Analysts expect the June seasonally adjusted sales rate to slip to 16.7 million to 16.9 million vehicles, down from 17.1 million in May and far off the above-18 million pace of the first four months of the year. Reasons cited for the slowdown include rising interest rates and consumer debt, an erratic stock market and consumer burnout.
However, rising gasoline prices are not the culprit many make them out to be, analysts said.
``Gas prices are probably getting more than their fair share of the credit for a slowdown that was already baked into the cake,`` Bank One chief economist Diane Swonk said. ``Buyers of gas-guzzling SUVs tend to be more affluent and less sensitive to changes in prices at the pump than buyers of regular cars.``
GM`s June sales are expected to decline 4-5 percent, led by weaker car sales, especially in its Oldsmobile division, analysts said.
Any momentum the world`s No. 1 automaker gained was thanks to more generous consumer rebates, which are likely to continue rising, Burnham Securities analyst David Healy said. GM is expected to see its share of the U.S. auto market in June decline to about 28-29 percent from 30 percent last year, analysts said.
``The good news, at least for the bottom line, is that the decline in GM`s market share is concentrated in the unprofitable passenger car sector, while the company`s truck share has remained more or less flat,`` Healy said.
German-American automaker DaimlerChrysler`s U.S. brands -- Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Jeep -- can blame an aging product lineup and an inconsistent incentive program for an expected 7.6-8 percent sales decline, analysts said.
And that is with help from the hot-selling PT Cruiser, which reached full production two weeks early on Friday at the Mexican plant where it is built.
Cars sales should decline about 18 percent, sales of aging minivan that will be replaced with new models in August should be off about 20 percent, and SUV sales should be flat, analysts said.
``Despite a marketing blitz, increased incentives and hopes of generating some sales momentum as the month wore on, Chrysler was unable to jump-start sales,`` Lobaccaro said.
Until new models start arriving on dealer lots this fall, Chrysler may have to raise incentive rates again, he added.
With newer models like the Ford Focus small car, Lincoln LS luxury sedan and Ford Explorer SportTrac hybrid SUV-pickup, No. 2 automaker Ford should see a smaller sales decline of 2.8-3 percent, excluding its Jaguar and Volvo brands, analysts s

Also jetzt mal bloß keine Panik.
