Universal Express Completes Final Phase of HANDLES-06(TM) Technology

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 2006--
Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP) completed the
final phase of their customer management system, HANDLES-06(TM), which
provides the company with greater usability and increases performance.
It actually integrates Luggage Express, Virtual Bellhop, Postal
Courier Association, Postal Nation and now Mad Packers. HANDLES-06
will make it easier to access customer and transaction data. It will
also provide detailed reports previously not available to customers
who utilize our services.
"The completion of trademarked HANDLES-06 has allowed the company
to customize the system using our already existing database," said
Carl Chambers, IT Manager.
"The new, easy to deploy, system will allow our external customers
to go online and receive a quote, make a booking and process their

Friday, March 10, 2006 after all of the security and licenses are put

Universal Express Rolls Out HANDLES-05™ Software


NEW YORK, NY – September 27, 2005 - Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP), announced today that Handles-05™ system rollout will begin in October. The starting point will be the complete functionality of the core modules of the program as it relates to the database and the contact manager. Implementation will continue over the next few months until completion, which is planned for January 2006.

“Imagine a software system the size and scope of the major carriers, and yet created and operated by a company not even one tenth that size. The Handles-05™ system will have all of the capabilities, depth and functionality of any system currently in use in the logistics industry. As previously announced, this system is being developed and tested by USXP’s IT team. Besides being able to dramatically increase our functionality, it will prove to be the final piece to our consolidator shipping and luggage puzzle,” said Jorge Esguerra, Information Technology Project Manager.

“USXP has postal locations in its Postal Trade Association (UniversalPost), courier companies in its courier association (Universal Express Courier Association) and a growing luggage business in Luggage Express and Virtual Bellhop. Our 15% to 40% discounted consolidation shipping announcement in March 2005 has been met with challenges that Handles 05 should be able to address,” stated Richard Altomare, CEO and Chairman of Universal Express, Inc.

“We anticipated that those potential association customers would overcome their mandatory minimum contracts with existing carriers, that we could establish comparable credit terms and longer periods to pay the invoices,” said Cecilia Vesnesky, Logistics Director of Luggage Express.

“Our opportunities remain remarkably bullish; yet the compatible software challenges have taken us longer than initially quoted to complete our task. There have been numerous technical issues that required our unique facilitation. We could have attempted a short term solution, yet we decided on the longer more thorough creation. Our sales have improved weekly, and we should experience expansive growth upon the launch of Handles-05™,” said Mariano Guerrero, Director of Operations.

“Our consolidator program although now better poised for vast revenue growth has not yet achieved the potential we anticipated. We remain flexible and properly positioned to this ever changing market, and now with Handles-05™ we are poised to accomplish more than we had initially hoped. This new software program will provide our couriers, customers, postal stores and partners all of the functionality that they may never have imagined possible,” continued Richard Altomare.
