mein Broker "down under" DF Mainland aus Auckland, NZ (www.dfmtrade.com) hat Otter Gold gerade
als "play of the week" vorgestellt:

Reasons to buy:

In times of uncertainty investors return to investing in gold and gold mining producers get the
benefit of this renewed attention.. Gold mining shares provide excellent investment leverage
to a more positive outlook on gold.
OTR is a well diversified small gold producer with equity in three producing mines.(Tanami;
Martha Hill; Beaconsfield) We expect the company to deliver approximately 150 oz of gold
(On an attributable basis) per year over the next 3 years. Operating costs are currently $320
per ounce.
The company is trading at a substantial discount to our assessed NPV of $1.20 cents per
share. This discount has deepened as the company reported lower production in the most
recent quarter, due to cyclone conditions.
The company has resolved its differences with GPG and two new directors have been
appointed: Tony Gibbs and Mike Jefferies.
OTR has a sizeable hedge book with approximately 50% of its reserves potentially sold
forward.
OTR has reported attributable reserves equal to approximately 5 years of aggregate mine
life.
OTR maintains an active exploration programme at Gladstone Hill at Waihi and at Tanami.
The company announced a new discovery at Camel Bore prospect, 25 kms south of the
Tanami mine.
OTR has $7.9m in cash.

P.S.: Ich bin übrigens kein "direkter" Otter Gold Aktionär, aber ich halte einige New Zealand Oil & Gas, die ein Großaktionär von Otter sind.
Im laufenden Jahr ist ein spin off der Otter Aktien an die NZ Oil Aktionäre geplant; daher mein Interesse an Otter.

Danke für deinen Beitrag - bist du sicher dass deine Infos betr. der Kapitalverhältnisse stimmen - Otter hat im Dezember eine Dividende in Form von NZO- Aktien ( 11:1 ) an ihre Aktionäre ausgeschüttet, von einer Beteiligung der NZO an OTR weiss ich aber nichts -
Habe mir heute auch nochmal die websites von OTR und NZO angesehen, auch hier findet sich kein Hinweis auf eine Beteiligung der NZO an OTR.
Vielleicht weiss die Goldhotline mehr ??? Gruss HW

Otter und NZ Oil & Gas sind bisher überkreuz beteiligt gewesen. Nachdem Otter seine NZ Oil Aktien an die Aktionäre ausgeschüttet hat, plant NZ Oil nun das gleiche zu tun (habe die genaue Beteiligungszahl momentan nicht im Gedächtnis),
NZ Oil hat außerdem eine 75 % Beteiligung an einem Anthrazitkohle-Projekt auf Neuseelands Südinsel (Wert ca. 15 Mio. NZ-$), daß ebenfalls an die Aktionäre in Form von Aktien ausgeschüttet werden soll.
Allgemein ist zu sagen, daß NZ Oil primär eine off shore Explorationsgesellschaft ist (spekulativ); der cash flow der laufenden
Produktion reicht jedoch aus, um die Explorationsausgaben zu decken.

Wenn diese Beteiligungsgeschichte stimmt, dann wird auch der
Optionsschein der Otter-Gold = otroa
Laufzeit bis 2003 sehr interessant.
